my point, which went right over your head, is that nobody gives a shit about properly delineating between the alt-right, anti-semites, and nazis. why would they?

what you're advocating is a form of political correctness, you know. to properly distinguish nazis from anti-semites. even though i haven't called anyone a nazi.

the alt-right follows a very specific, consistent pattern in its rhetoric and in how it avoids participating in good faith discussions. learning how to process and/or subvert those patterns is worthwhile, i think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xGawJIseNY

You're an anti-semite. It's probably pretty fair to say you aren't an egalitarian that's truly concerned with equality; so what were you doing, hassling that other person about affirmative action, if you weren't falsely purporting your egalitarian values to... signal your virtues?

it's not a virtue to not be an anti-semite. it's the default. you're failing to meet the default standard.

it's not anyone else's fault, but the very real, actual human being child doesn't deserve to suffer for it.

I get what this is going for... but you guys can't seriously be oblivious enough to not see the difference, right? in the first scenario there is no baby that needs parental support. in the second scenario there is a baby that needs parental support. to pretend that doesn't at least make a difference in theory is just... blegh. immensely dishonest, among other things.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
