Yea believe me. That comment was a ticking time bomb aimed at my biggest insecurity. And she knew it, hoping I’d blow up about it that night to use against me in the divorce. Thank god the shock overrode any anger and that time bomb exploded about 5 weeks later when I was driving to work.

At least he got that line, when my ex wife asked for divorce back in April, she told me “I never really loved you and I didn’t want kids with you”

I asked for one before my wedding 2+ years ago. She said we didn’t need it since she doesn’t believe in divorce. She asked for it earlier this year back in April. I know if I ever get married again, I’m 1000% getting one because I know I’ll have more to lose at that point. I’m lucky I’m only out $5,500 in my current divorce (excluding lawyer fees)

I told my divorce lawyer that i wanted to minimize the cost of this divorce to me, legal fees included, because I knew I’d have to save up, and i didn’t want to waste money digging my heels & fighting an equitable split. The only thing i really wanted to win was the exit fee, so obviously i jumped at the oppurtunity once she said shed pay a majority of it in order to finalize.

I believe so. My STBXW started hanging out with a coworker ALOT back in February, and from what I’ve gathered, by the end of March, my STBXW said her friend wasn’t happy & was considering a divorce. They were either hanging out all the time or constantly on FaceTime. Within 2 weeks of her saying the friend was considering divorce and us just moving into a new place in the beginning of April, my ex wife asked for a divorce. I legit asked that the timing seems suspicious since she said the friend …

Mine is a teacher, and the only thing that sucks once the divorce is finalized is losing out on the great health insurance

I agree with your point here. I was blindsided when my stbxw asked for a divorce early last month. & within 24 hours of her dropping that bomb, and trying to process the nasty things she said to needle @ my insecurities, she then kicked me out of the house without caring of where I’d go. I didn’t disagree with the reasons why she said she wanted the divorce (communication & not focused enough on losing weight) but she also didn’t take any accountability for why the marriage failed & didn’t tell …

My ex wife asked for a divorce last month. The next day, she kicked me out of the house because she didn’t feel safe with me in the house because of I reacted the previous night when she asked for a divorce out of the blue and I wasn’t able to have a calm conversation. She also had said she wasn’t sure she ever really loved me, after 9 years together, 2.5 years married. She legit scoffed at me the next day when she asked me to leave the house, when I said “I’m pretty sure it’s within the realm o…

I know, but I also didn’t want to make things harder for me in the divorce since the cops walked me out

Once I got all of my stuff out of the place over the weekend and I’m crashing at my parents until I find an apartment, i decided to not speak a word to her or any of her family unless lawyers were involved and blocked all numbers to make it easier.

I had called the cops saying my lawyer said I didn’t have to leave, but they said their supervisor made the call that since I only had residence for about 10 days, I had to leave immediately.

That’s the only thing that I’m thankful about. No kids, no properties that we own, we didn’t have a lot in the joint accounts, which we already evenly split without saying. I really think this should be extremely quick. I want this whole thing to be easy and quick and move on.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
