2	Alimony Guesstimate-Ohio It very much does. It seems so unfair to be forced to support someone after the dissolution of marriage, if you never asked them to play homemaker in the first place. I would understand it if the breadwinner explicitly said "No spouse of mine will work! Quit your job this instance." It's a little different if the person just sorta didn't want to work on their own and then you supported them for years. Unfortunately, as far as I've seen, the law doesn't care much about that. Though they are to be taken with an extreme grain of salt, as there are tons of other factors and I'm doubting these calculators are constantly kept up to date anyways.
