I don't think the episode when Jim tries to find out why Pam got dumped shows him as being whipped. Jim is just so in love with Pam that he actually thinks she is perfect. This is to the point where he is confused as to why anyone would dump her. It's simply a mystery and he wants it solved.

Let's ramble more about The Office! Season 8 - Episode 17 "Test the Store", Written by Mindy Kaling Half the story is down in Florida at the Sabre test store and the other story is about how Andy got hit in the parking lot by a girl. Once the office finds out, they think it's hilarious that he got attacked. I didn't really understand why the characters thought it was so funny or emasculating. Maybe it was the school's attempt to get more fathers involved in their child's activities.
