They might be, you just may not be looking for it. if someone asks you how you're doing or what you've been up to, that's a perfect invitation to start, just don't go too deep too fast.

Part of the issue may be the length of time you two knew each other, part may be how much you shared at one time. Part of it may be how much you share, "I have trouble trusting people, because I've been cheated on before" is different from something like, "My ex girfriend cheated on me with my best friend for 5 years, and all my friends cheat on their SO's and my mom left my dad for her tennis coach after he lost his job so now I can't trust the women I date". getting rejected, and feeling crushed are both normal. What matters is what happens after. Look back on all your experiences that night. look through what worked and what didn't. Be as detailed and as analytical as possible. Keep what worked, try and figure out why the other stuff didn't.
