I think it's fine for women only regs but mixing them will only slow down male regiments. The Marines have recently been pressured into lowering the physical requirement for women because most just can't hack it. If need be, and I'm assuming OP is living in the U.S., the American government can institute the draft to conscript men into the military. It happened in Vietnam and it can happen again. It is legally required for every man in the United States to sign up for selective service. It's automatic registration if you have a drivers license. I believe it made me a better person to be able to push through difficult times and to persevere and not give up. But, that phrase, I will never tell my children.
