Yes there are women who dated guys out of X amount of money but there are also guys who would take advantage of a girl's feelings for them string them and lead them on. It goes both ways. There's the thing I've noticed with these gender "wars". The feminists only care about the issues that affects them and how they're oppressed, while the manists (I know super weird term but let's just agree to use that for now) only care about the issues that negatively affects them, and how they receive the sh…

._. Holy shit 10 first dates in a month..? Um maybe get to know the girl before asking them out? When I was single I went on a first date... Well like once a year ish, never really got passed the third date. And we normally took turns paying after the first one. It's not a contradiction to say I will let the guy pay if he asks me out unless I didn't enjoy the date or if I know after the first date that there's not gonna be a second one. It's just a condition. I don't think asking a stranger to g…

Women looked down on you. Just like women look down on us when we are rejected. My friends were actually pretty supportive, his guy friends completely avoided me after that cos they thought id fall for them next. But alas this was highschool and people were pretty immature. I understood your point, my counter was that how that guy felt about me, is how women feel about most guys when they ask them out. I honestly think that if a guy is serious about a relationship they should already know the ot…

And I'm saying enough men talk about how a girl asking them out that it affects them and it impacts them as well. And yes the guy wasnt interested in me, we sorted it out later, and we're on good terms now. You just said it sucks getting rejected and if he was interested it would've been different... Well how is that not the same the other way around? They're not rejecting guys, they're rejecting the individual who asked them out. Do you think "society" (in my case my group of friends) didn't lo…

First dates don't have to be expensive, just do something where you can get to know the other person. The best first date that I've ever been on was a walk down the river and a picnic later. We both made food for the picnic too. Bullshit, it helps women. You don't have to do crap but look good and wait So what if they're not good looking? Or what if they don't wanna wait? Are you saying ugly women shouldn't date? We just have to wait.. Well what if the guy we doesn't like us back?

A man benefits because he is always in control of the situation. He can call the girl whenever and ditch whenever he wants. All the average woman on the dating scene needs to do is nothing, just look good and you'll see several thirsty men begging around. See that's the thing, you have thirsty guys pursuing her, so as a girl you never really know if the guy is actually into you or if he's just thirsty. Besides if she's not interested then it doesn't really matter if she has one or hundred guys c…

Like you said this isn't about what should be or shouldn't be. Personally story time. When I was in highschool I actually told a friend of mine that I have a crush on him. Told him that I didn't want to date (cos we were leaving for Uni) and that I didn't expect anything out of it. He got up and walked away. Then whenever I saw in in the halls he would walk the other way. So now I'm more hesitate about making the first move. So yes, girls are generally more afraid of getting rejected but a lot o…

It's not projection, I've had guys get mad because I insisted that I pay, we weren't on dates either. Like I said it's usually just dinner for a first date, it really isn't that expensive. Besides if there's "multiple parts" the girl would usually pay for everything else. And that's usually just as expensive if not more so than dinner. And if going on first dates is enough to seriously hurt your bank account maybe you should stop going on so many. Guys actually benefit a lot from this culture of…

I don't like the culture either, but men are at fault too, a lot of women believe that if they make the first move they'll be seen as desperate/easy. Id love to be able to tell a guy that I'm interested in him but I never do because I'm scared that he'll think of me as creepy and desperate. It sucks I'm obviously looking for a husband to marry, so when we do get married, are we gonna split every bill? Are we gonna split the bills when we buy groceries, and stuff for our kids? No that's ridiculou…

How many first dates do you guys go on..? I don't unless I know the guy pretty well and think that there's a chance for a future relationship. I think I've only went on 3 or 4 first dates in my entire life. How am I getting financially compensated? It's frigging one meal. I pay for my friends all the time, regardless if they're guys or girls.

Yeah but so what..? Someone has to make the first move, and like I said if it doesn't go well I'll pay so that I won't "owe" the guy anything and I'll pay if he mentions splitting, and I'd insist on paying for the second date. Or if there's a second event I'd pay for that. Besides most guys see it as an insult if the girl insists on paying If you plan on dating this person paying for one dinner or w.e really shouldn't matter.

dates one Asian girl assumes every Asian girl is like that Btw her mom asking you how much money you have saved up isn't "oh is he rich" it's more like "does he have its priorities straight" She was trying to see if you can pull your own weight, not about ohh let's see how much money my daughter can get out of you.

Some Asian men are just as bad, they're rich as fuck, 160k to them is nothing. These people are known as "fu da er" literally meaning rich second generation. Their parents get rich cos they're government officials in China and send their kids overseas, then they just spend their parents money like crazy. Both girls and guys of this group spend ridiculous amounts of money of status symbols.

Bish please, this is just as real for single moms/ women over 30. As soon as you turn 30 you're seen as a "leftover woman" and you'll be forced to "settle". Same if you're a single mom. You're expected to date divorced guys or guys who are a lot older than you. It's not really falling into line as much as "you're 30 and you're officially an adult, that 20 year old may legally be an adult but she has no experience in the real world thus she's just a kid" It's not about falling into line it's abou…

The train doesn't even look that crowded.. If it's not crowded why is this a problem..? I put my bag on the seat beside me if there's enough seats to go around..

It's funny I do the opposite. I insist on paying if I know I'm not gonna agree to a second date, if I think it went well I'd let him pay and pay the second time. If the guy mentions splitting the bill then I'd just pay for it, and think twice before agreeing to a second one. Not because I think I'm a princess and I should be treated as such, but because if we were to get serious I wouldn't want to split bills 50/50 cos one person is always putting in more resources in a relationship and just cos…

Because there is enough hate between men and women, we're all humans and should learn to get along.

Let's not make it men vs women. It's a person who happened to be a girl influencing another person who happened to be a boy to take his own life. Like you said she's a horrible person for doing this, and I would really like to have her tried as an adult and locked up for it, but all she really did was send the guy some text messages... If I was the prosecution I would charge her with conspiracy to commit murder or something like that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
