If things were different (the law, female nature, etc.), I'd be singing a different tune. But it is what it is, and things certainly won't be changing in our lifetime

Yeah, masturbation fixes a lot of emotional (illogical) thoughts.

$3000 a month just off rent damn that's awesome. Yeah man that's exactly what I'm thinking. I currently put away $500 a month in my savings account and I get a $4k cash bonus every year, and I spend about $1400 per month on rent plus another $200-250 on utilities. Not having to pay for all of that and renter's insurance is huge. Granted my gas will be more expensive and I will have to pay for storage, but I will still save a ton. Plus, knowing my Mom, she wouldn't won't let me pitch in too much …

They're not very intrusive. I'd definitely pitch in on chores and take care of my brother when needed, as well as pitch in for groceries. I agree that overall, the quality of life would be worse than what I have now, but overall I think it would be worth suffering for a year to set myself up well for the future. Just thinking about going from 15k total savings to 35k savings in one year sounds pretty damn good to me. I could also pay off all of my loans with that 20k. Debt free at 25 sounds good…

Well geez, just 20k from ONE year of staying at home invested over 30 years time is probably going to yield 160k over that time. Sounds worth it to me. If I had to make that commute 5 days a week I think it would be a harder choice, but the 3 days of commuting helps a lot.

I get it, more needs to go into investments. I literally had no savings after paying for college, so I needed to establish a bit of an emergency fund for myself. That "10k" cash will mostly start going into my 401k. But I also think you are trying to tell me that it's smarter to stay home and save a ton of money haha.

I'm really good at what I do, and I love my manager. The department culture isn't the most exciting, but there are lots of other opportunities and room for growth for me within the company. I can see myself potentially moving around to other departments within the company at some point. That is a good point though, it seems like a lot of people on here agree that rent is the way to go for me right now. When I'm making 6-7k more per year that'll end up being 500-600 more a month for me to play wi…

Good advice! Any advice regarding the apartment/condo/house decision for the next 1-2 years?
/r/MGTOW02/03/19 05:54 AM

Yeah I figure once I get that promotion I'll have some more money to potentially put into a high risk option like that.

It's relatively complicated. Something like the first 2% of my salary that I contribute gets matched 100%, then 2-4% is matched 75%, then 4-6% is matched 50%. So I'm currently doing 6% of my salary because I'm getting free money that way.

Yeah all I have right now is my vanguard 401k and my own company stock which has been going up pretty steadily over the last few years. It's a start!

Already considering Thailand, apparently it's dirt cheap to do pretty much everything over there. But Germany and Amsterdam are also on the list.

Just being honest. Too bad they're pretty expensive though. There's one site that looks pretty legit, and the hot hookers on there are anywhere between 600-800 for one hour. They look like they know what they're doing and they take it seriously - requiring screening and actually seem like honest, intelligent women. They know what you want and are making efforts to make it safe for both parties involved. But shit, that's a quick way to lose quite a bit of cash that could go to other places. Defin…

I agree. But Tinder Date #1 would have been gross. Tinder Date #2 seemed like a good person but I later found out through mutual friends that she's a slimeball whore just like the rest of them. All in all I'm pretty happy I didn't lose my virginity to either one of them. I'd rather lose it to a super hot hooker.

The calm cool and collected delivery on every video is what makes it so good. The women are eagerly trying to find a good comeback, and he just sits there with a big smile and hits them with cold hard facts every time.

I understand. Obviously the safest move is just to stay a virgin, but I really want to experience sex just once you know? Just trying to figure out the safest route to doing so.

Yeah this is the kind of mental warfare I have been having with myself. Ever since I was a teenager I've felt this way - that sex would only feel worth it if the girl really cared about me and there was "true love" between us. Now that I've learned that true love is bullshit and that nobody I'm attracted to will ever love me, I think this is the only real option I've got if I want to have sex with somebody hot. It's a black pill, but better to know where I stand than continue to be a simp with h…

Exactly. I went on a site that is allegedly safe, and the hot ones with good reputations on there are about that expensive.

I've had my chances with women who are 5s or worse, and that hasn't been worth it to me either. In my opinion, it's too risky to have sex with a woman who wants to do it for free, because that brings false rape allegations into play later on down the road. If I got an escort in a place where it is legal or considered safe, then I don't have to worry about that. Again, maybe I'm being too self protective, but I've read enough horror stories where I've sort of isolated myself from women over the l…

Did you do it in the US? If so, would you mind PMing me some sources that are safe?

Couldn't agree more. I've never been given a second look by anyone attractive, so that's why I don't bother trying to date. Huge waste of time and money. It's possible that someone hot would eventually be interested in me, but at that point I'm sure she will have already been with several other guys and that just turns me off. After reading all of these replies, I'm definitely leaning towards staying patient and saving my money up for a nice vacation that just so happens to include getting laid.…

I wouldn't say I "have money" haha. I'm just able to save some each month that I don't touch. That's the story I've heard though, you feel on top of the world one minute, and then next it all goes to shit.

I'm never getting married. I'm not that stupid. But I agree with your line of thinking
/r/MGTOW04/01/19 03:01 PM

I understand the nature of women, and that's probably the reason I feel disappointed to be honest. In my younger years I didn't know the truth and was definitely a simp, but now that I understand them my mindset and opinion on dating has changed dramatically. Of course there are good parts - the love and sex. But the hypergamous nature, never really being able to trust them long term, just doesn't sit well with me. And that's why I haven't dated in 7 years.
/r/MGTOW04/01/19 01:49 PM

Nah I'm not on the spectrum. I just have a small circle of friends, and am generally introverted.

I don't have any big goals in terms of things I want to have. However, I have places I want to be able to take my family, places I want to be able to visit myself. I love golf, and it gives me confidence to improve my skillset and I also just love it in general.
/r/MGTOW04/01/19 01:38 PM

I think I understand these, and that's what makes it so disappointing. The old adage "the truth hurts."
/r/MGTOW04/01/19 01:30 PM

hahaha, touche. I think I just need to chill a little bit and let things fall as they may. Stop trying to force it. Just get done what I need to get done, and not push myself to work 12 hours a day at times.
/r/MGTOW19/12/18 12:59 AM
2

I'll make a note of that. I think I'm paranoid about all the bad things that can happen. Ask the girl out and get rejected, feel embarrassed and stupid. Ask the girl out and she says yes, well now I have to take her out somewhere, find out how to impress her and make her feel tingles even though I have no idea what I'm doing. I'll probably suck at that anyways, so why bother? That's kind of my mentality on dating at the moment.
/r/MGTOW19/12/18 12:57 AM

haha I appreciate it, that made me feel better. I think in reality I'm too hard on myself. I really want to advance my career and "climb the ladder" quickly, but sometimes it just seems like the harder I work and the harder I push myself, the more bogged down I feel in the end you know?

I know I know. I definitely have a problem though. I fantasize about how great it would be to spend time with this lovely looking lady and do sex stuff, but in reality I think about it and am like "man, what am I getting myself into. I already hardly have enough time alone, if I started dating that's x amount of dollars and x amount of time that I won't have to myself anymore, plus risky af since we work together." Basically, it feels nice to fantasize what it would be like to get all the positi…

How do I become "worthy of promotion" then?
/r/MGTOW19/12/18 12:44 AM

I've thought that too. I've thought that putting in the extra hours to stay ahead and accomplish more would pay off in the end, but perhaps I'm giving them too much and it really doesn't matter. I don't know what to believe anymore. And to answer your question, they'd probably get upset and irrationally just tell me to work harder because we have to meet metrics, and not understanding that in order to get my stuff done, I HAVE to work that many hours.

I mean I think I'm pretty good at what I do and overall I do like it, I just know there are other departments in industry that wouldn't require me to work 50-60 mentally draining hours each week just to meet corporate goals, and would probably pay just as much if not more. I'm starting to get into keeping myself in shape. I've always been blessed to have a good metabolism, but never actually worked out before. I also love sports, just none that take place in the winter time. In general, my mood …

This reminds me of an orientation that we had at my college before people were scheduled to study abroad. It was in an auditorium with about 200 people. We watched a video of a girl going bar hopping with a friend, and she ended up having like 8 mixed drinks over the course of the video. At one point, she ended up leaving her drink on a countertop to go to the bathroom, and of course someone roofied it. Eventually she ended up getting raped at a frat house. The lesson was apparently supposed t…

The thing is, that girl initiated the grinding. Also, the time before that I was just dancing by myself, and some thot also started rubbing her butt on mine and then traded her butt out for a barstool, again making fun of me. The point is, it seems like even if I did just go alone and try to have fun, they just come up and try to do whatever random thing to fuck with me. It's turned me off from clubs entirely. I'd rather do literally anything else.

I just want to be around the guys. This is why I like going to sports bars from time to time. Change of scenery, and I can have a decent time with the random dudes I meet there. However, I have to be in the right mood to do this since I'm not the most social individual. I don't think I could be paid enough money to go to a club ever again. Horrible memories of women just coming up to me and humiliating me for no reason whatsoever. I agree on the gaming part though. I used to play Xbox a long tim…

This reminds me of one of the girls in my department. Everything she says has the sarcastically happy tone behind it, you know that the words coming out of her mouth and the thoughts actually going through her mind are entirely different at all times.
