I don't think that's true. It's mostly only America out of the Western countries who make such a big deal about nudity, in most other countries there aren't laws against non-sexual public nudity

Yeah, but it's not like a homeless person can get a phone contract though is it? They can't go into a shop and say "I'll take a premium smartphone please, and I'll be back here every day with $1 - $1.50 for you". They'd need the whole amount up front which is much harder to do than buying a small amount of food every day. Plus then they'd need somewhere to charge it up. That's a real shame that you didn't feel comfortable talking honestly with your ex, sounds to me like it might have saved the relationship because I'm sure she wasn't happy that you wouldn't talk to her about something important to your lives, it probably sounded like you were hiding something bad from her.
