I have explicitly told him that I would love him to open up to me and let me satisfy him, but nothing changes. He still scurries away from me to satisfy the dirty cravings while doing totally vanilla things to me.

I know what he is interested in, but he has no interest in doing it with me.

"You get maybe a decade or two of men slobbering over you, which frankly isn't all that it's cracked up to be, and then you're put out to pasture. Been there, done that. Don't care about guys hitting on me - it's meaningless. It doesn't mean jack when you are alone at night and they've left because they don't actually care about you." Oh gosh this. I'm so glad that I have my babies to give love and attention to for the rest of my life :) they make me feel so complete. I know motherhood isn't for…

Some men justify it in their mind that it makes them a better partner as it gives them confidence and makes them more content and they don't want to sully their primary relationship by doing the depraved things they crave in the bedroom. But really if they just communicated a little with said partner they would probably find she's on board with much of what he desires.

This is something I have given quite a bit of thought. Things change drastically when you have children. Because now, the needs of family unit may very well outweigh your hurt feelings. It's individual for everybody, but personally, it would take an extreme violation for me to uproot the lives of my children. Me being hurt by my husbands actions is not reason enough for something as dramatic as divorce. When people berate parents for staying together "for the sake of the kids", I feel that's a b…

I do laundry constantly. Oh my gosh its a never ending job. I cloth diaper, so only use laundry detergent that is as close to natural as possible (no dyes, fragrances ect) as I don't want chemicals on my baby's sensitive areas. I also line dry because I don't want to put the diapers in the dryer (it can damage them). Of course I could use a dryer for our clothing, but I rather not to save electricity since I'm line drying other things anyway :)

This is the height of female arrogance. She thinks so little of the contribution of a father that she will raise kids completely without one. Seeing my husband with our daughter is one of the most beautiful things in the world. Her smiling little face when daddy comes home from work makes me melt into a big puddle of 'Awwww'. I couldn't imagine denying her of that.

Oh yes because you couldn't possibly teach home making skills AND maths and science and language skills ect ect.

How is teaching your daughter home making skills limiting her? It doesn't mean she HAS to stay at home. Just means she would have the skills to do so if she chooses to.

Honestly I'm not so much asking about a specific, recent event. More just like looking for discussion about something that has come up in the past and caused issues, and will likely happen in the future and I want to deal with it better this time and not get so emotional and act passive aggressively.

The edit was just an elaboration to my original ponderings. This issue is not one that I am personally losing sleep over, but more something I was thinking about as it has come up in the past and I wonder how I should approach it in the future. Yeah I don't think many people saw the edit, perhaps I should make a new post so people see it.

What works for us? For me, I do the housework because I'm a stay at home mom and it would be incredibly unfair to expect my husband to work a full day and come home and do chores. I like this set up because there is no arguing about domestic things. It's so much easier than trying to divide up chores. One thing I do ask from him is occupying the baby so I can do certain things though (like sweeping, cannot sweep with the toddler around because she tries to steal my broom or eat my dust pile, lol…

After pondering this for a while, and taking into account some of your posting history, I think my original post was wrong. You're right. The housework should be done by the time you get home. It's not that hard to get it done, and frankly, I would love to know exactly what is taking up so much time if she is only doing her school work at night time anyway. I'm not coming at this from a position of ignorance either. I, like her, am a stay at home mom of a toddler and house chores are done by nap…

Um, just looked through a little of your post history. I don't think your marital problems will be solved by pointing her towards a mommy blog. :/

I don't think her asking for a little help is a shit test. If you feel it's not your role to do housework, then okay. Maybe compromise and say you will occupy the little one for an hour after work so that she can catch up on things. You are right that keeping the house clean should not take all day. But, when you have a little one, tasks take three times as long. It's not as simple as sitting down and folding a load of laundry. Nope, you have to deal with the toddler wanting to destroy your neat…

Just personal opinion, but I love strength in a man, not really defined muscles though. I've always been attracted to larger men, big arms are sexy but a 6 pack does absolutely nothing for me. As far as tattoos go. I hate all tattoos. Period. Ew.

That's a good idea. It could work. Its just that it seems like every pay period something else comes up that needs attention (car problems, appliances need fixing, dental work) and things get pushed further and further out :/ it doesn't bother me. But he gets so down about it

My husband gives himself a long to do list and it stresses him out. I'm constantly reminding him how much he has achieved around the house since we bought it, but he seems to focus on the fact that he wants to do this this and this.. Oh and this, and this.. Any ideas on how to take the pressure off of him? We can only do things at a pace which our budget allows so I hate to see him stressing out when he need not.

Its less frizzy.. More like crazy curls. Not nice looking curls. Crazy curls. Honestly I don't think I've heat damaged my hair too badly. I have straightened it for about 4 years now and use a heat protector so that probably helps.
/r/RedPillWomen09/07/14 06:32 PM

Heat styling is a must must must for me. I'll never forget that first morning I was with my husband and he woke up and saw my crazy unstraightened hair. I think it scared him. Hahaha. He finally understood why I was so adamant that we couldn't walk in the rain. Over the years now of course he's seen it a lot. But it looks 100% different when I leave it to dry naturally and don't do anything rather than when I blow dry and straight iron it.

I guess I'm a little in the minority, I kind of do see childbearing as my main purpose as a woman. I plan on having a fair few, I'm 22 now and due with my second. Thinking we'll probably make it to four before I'm 30 and then shut up shop down there. I remember being so worried when we got married that we would struggle to conceive (it's so common to have issues it seems), but thank goodness we've had two easy conceptions and two fairly easy pregnancies so far :) I have loved seeing my husband b…

Oh and of course when hubby gets home from work I don't expect him to take on baby duty. That's a bit much. My "me-time" is during nap time. His is when he gets home from work and spends times on his hobbies.
/r/RedPillWomen07/07/14 08:18 PM

I actually love this. Its kind of how we split duties.. Apart from that he gets up before me as he works very early, and as such, I don't expect to get a lie in every Sunday (although once a month would be loooovely). Also our babies aren't school age yet, and when they are I will likely homeschool. So I watch housewives of new jersey while I do laundry and baby plays with her toys ;) my guilty pleasure

My girl is almost a year old and her sister will be joining us in one month (she's still gestating, lol) :) so very young. Glad to hear that it gets easier, little one just learned how to climb up onto our bed. Haha. So no more mommy and daddy cuddles in the morning, she wants to join in. After this baby is born we will take a little break on procreating. I've pretty much been pregnant forever it feels like.
/r/RedPillWomen06/07/14 04:01 PM

Yeah that is a tough one because you don't want to mother him being all "you shouldn't drink so much". Does he have a stressful job and drinking is his way to unwind? If so maybe if you offer blow jobs when he gets home and before he starts drinking he will be more receptive to it and begin to use blow jobs (and maybe eventually sex) as a way to unwind.

Six beers a night seems like an awful lot! If my husband has a few he doesn't want sex at all. Thankfully he only drinks about once a month so it's not an issue. I think that is more likely to be the source rather than porn.

Maybe this would just please my husband.. But he would love just to lay on the bed and have me give him back tickles. :) that always helps him de stress.

I had my first baby last year and was lucky enough to be able to stay at home with her. And while you will most likely get tired and grouchy sometimes, its not as bad as people make it out to be. Newborns sleep A LOT. Much more than I expected. Sure they also wake up frequently, so you won't be getting a solid 8 hour block of sleep for a while, but if you nap on and off you won't get too fatigued. But if you are very worried about it, my advice would be to plan well. Prepare freezer meals that c…

I mean, she says he made the first move, so its not like he's all shy and timid. His quiet demeanour speaks more to me as him being very secure in himself rather than him being a pushover.

I don't think she was overly disrespectful. I think she was just joking around to make the video entertaining because that's how she gets money, video views. I may be biased though as I'm a bit of a fan of her videos in general. So I could be wrong. But I don't look at them as a couple and think they are doomed or that she walks all over him. That's just my opinion though.

I hear you about just adding another 'thing'. That's how I feel when my husband talks about his grand plans :P because whilst he is the one that comes up with the plans, I'm the one at home all day that has to deal with the animals and any problems that arise. He's very good about milking his cow himself though (thank goodness, that's a job I don't want). We're looking at possibly homeschooling too! Its a little ways off yet as my girl is not even a year old, and her sister is still in my belly,…

Omg I love animals that want to be house pets. I used to have a chicken that would come inside and sit on our couch to watch TV with me. She was so beautiful. I think raising them from bottle babies is a great idea. The kids would looooove that too. You're warming me up to the idea. Lol. Maybe within the next couple of years we will build a nice big paddock and get a few :)

Also I feel like by the time they are old enough to be married, they will be a desirable mate (I'm making damn sure they can cook and clean) and their husbands will thank their lucky stars that they found such amazing women :) so divorce won't be on the table.
/r/RedPillWomen25/06/14 02:07 PM
1

Yes that is a very valid fear. I would hope that I could steer them in the right direction in terms of mate selection and I think that the best way to do that is by ensuring they have a good relationship with their father. I had a great relationship with my dad growing up and I ended up with a man fairly similar to him. My girls will hopefully follow that same path and not fall into the trap of chasing 'bad boys'. IF they bring home boys that are less than desirable.. We will have a very long ta…

I keep mine short because I don't want to scratch my babies. Their skin is so so delicate that long nails are a hazard!! I would love to gave some medium length acrylics, and will do when the bubbas are older. But until then they have to be short :(

And as far as sex goes. I plan on having a very open dialogue. My husband said he will leave all that to me, he doesn't want to think of his baby girls ever having sex. Lol. But I will stress the importance of being careful about who you give yourself to. Sex is awesome. I won't lie and say that they shouldn't desire it. I remember what its like to be 15. But sex won't get you love and respect. That needs to be there before the sex.

My advice to my girls will probably center around not being afraid to relinquish control to the right person. That you don't always have to be the leader to be important and there is no shame in taking direction from other people. It doesn't make you a pushover. In fact it can be empowering. Also.. I know everyone is different, but in my experience, being a mother and wife has been the most fulfilling thing in my life. If my girls aspire to be housewives I wouldn't discourage them.

I totally agree with this. I've given my husband until I'm 30 to get as many kids as he wants. I don't really have a limit on the amount of kids I will have, but I really don't want to be having them in my 30s. I'm 22 now and due with our second. So we could get to like 8 kids if he wanted :P but he wants to take a break after this next one then have a couple more in a few years. I just hope I can give him a boy! Also that's awesome you are doing goats. How is it turning out? My husband would love some goats but they seem annoying to me. I just can't shake the feeling that they will be a pain. Lol. My SO and I homestead (I suppose you would call it that). It's very much driven by him, he has a lot of ideas its hard for me to keep up sometimes. Haha. But its been a lot of fun so far. I do the cooking for our family. My husband has to eat healthy as he is cutting weight right now.. So I usually just stick to cooking meat and veg. I buy meat when its on special and freeze it so that I can stick to my grocery budget and then every night I just cook a different type if meat. I kind of cycle through chicken breast (with various flavourings), thighs (cooked with various spices/flavours), whole roast chicken, pork roast, beef roast and turkey (usually make chilli or turkey meatloaf…

I would love to try a water birth. Perhaps with the next baby, I don't think the hospital I'm delivering at this time facilitates that. I must say.. With my first baby I went in completely unprepared. This is embarrassing but I actually thought that the only part of labour that really hurt was when you push it out. I didn't realise contractions are the painful part. So when I was having horrible contractions and was still stuck at 8cm I freaked out and got an epi. Silly, as I was likely very clo…

If he is open with his intentions and can find a women who agrees to it then good for him. I doubt he would find such a woman that would be happy with this arrangement though. Of course he could find a wife to raise his children, but if he were open about his intentions of cheating once she was no longer deemed attractive enough for him then she would surely not be happy. I agree with the general sentiment in these replies. It is very sad that women generally don't look up to feminine women more. Not just in terms of looks. But with things like cooking ability, homemaking, crafting ect. The women I admire most are those who do things like cook a big meal for her family and clean up without complaint because she genuinely gets joy from making them happy and satisfied. Or cleaning up after her husband without snippy remarks (I have some work to do in that front, I …

Same with us in that my husband is gone most of the day so what I do with our girl really doesn't affect him too much, he just gets to reap the benefits of a happy baby (for the most part.. She has her days). If he was around during the day he would probably be a little jealous by the extent to which my day revolves around her. My girl has always been off the charts for all measurements (she was the size of an average 1 year old at 6 months) :/ she's very cute with all her rolls, but it came with some downsides. The main one being that she didn't crawl until 9 months because she couldn't support her weight. So that was hard. I don't think attachment parenting is in line with RPW philosophy for the most part. I haven't done attachment parenting purposely, since she's my first baby I've just done what feels right to me a…

I am very blessed to be able to stay at home. My mother wasn't happy when I left college, got married and knocked up, but all I can think is "Heck, I should have started a family earlier, I love being a mom!" (Although I'm only 22 so I probably shouldn't have done it any sooner, haha)

My husband has no idea as she only texted me and I didn't want to bother him by saying anything before he left for work. He already feels like she loved his sister more than him and I think if he saw what his mother wrote it would upset him a lot as no one wants to be compared to their siblings like that. Wake up whenever baby wakes me. My husband has always left for work already when we get up. I give her breakfast and while she's eating begin cleaning the kitchen up. When she's done we go outside to feed/water all of the animals and tend to the garden before the heat hits. Then come inside and play until she's tired enough for a nap. Our eating habits are night and day. I'm vegetarian. He is all about meat. I cook pretty much 100% of the food in our house so I usually just cook a meaty dinner for him and I snack on side dishes. I believe it can work. But there has to be an end date to it. As in, you have to know when you can be together physically. Having that to look forward to was the only thing that made the distance bearable for me. In terms of keeping things interesting. Honestly I tried not to think too much about that. You'll drive yourself insane trying to come up with cutesy ideas. I sent packages and that.. letters with silly jokes. Skyped A LOT. Its not an easy road. But we did it for a year and a half.

Hi :D I'm 22 and a housewife to my wonderful husband, 9 month old daughter and we have another daughter joining us in a few months :) We naturally fit into very traditional gender roles so I joined here in hopes of bettering myself as a wife and to keep my mind focussed on more than just my children, which is surprisingly difficult, when you spend 24-7 caring for an infant you sometimes forget you are a wife too.

I'm a huge advocate for raising chickens. We got a little flock started when we lived in the suburbs, so unless you're living like right in the city you'd be surprised at how loose zoning restrictions are for chickens (not roosters obviously). I love always having a steady supply of fresh eggs.
/r/RedPillWomen30/04/14 08:24 PM

No we haven't gotten that far yet. Just moved a year ago from the suburbs so things are still getting set up (bee hives established.. growing our chicken flock). So just working on providing enough for ourselves first :)

Yes! And I have to make sure that the dresses are fairly long or else when your belly gets bigger they start riding up higher and higher in the front. Haha. I learnt that with my last pregnancy.

We have a sort of 'homestead' that needs to be taken care of while my husband is at work (feeding cows, cleaning chicken coops, gardening). So I generally don't wear dresses unless I'm leaving the house. I would love to wear them all the time but it seems impractical. So generally I'm wearing yoga pants and a shirt around home. Also I have very few clothes that I can actually fit right now as I'm pregnant and getting bigger by the day. I need to go shopping for more summer dresses asap!

Yes you're right. I'm about to apply for my non-conditional residency after 2 years of marriage. Then I can prove to everyone I did NOT marry for a green card!! My ideal man is a man who is driven to succeed and is genuinely excited about life. Must be a natural leader also. Doesn't let little things bog him down and get him upset easily, rather searches for a solution and tackles each problem that comes his way. This is something I love about my husband. I love to see him just knocking down the issues one by one. Simple things like getting the dishwasher working again or figuring out why our strawberry plants are dying. I love being able to rely on him…
