Biden signed the executive order. Am I missing something? It looks like they pretty much limited the protection to medicated abortions alone which is also super unsafe in some cases. Emergency contraception is great but there's a time gap between that and a medicated abortion.

He strangled her into a seizure but she's acting weird? He gave her too many details about calling 911 because he was probably calling a friend for advice on how to get rid of a body. Conveniently, he hasn't let her strangle, I mean choke, him

What a creep! He actually made SA about him and how he feels about it. Does he also get mad at a patient for bleeding in front of him??? You didn't overshare, if a guy wants anything sexual to be a possibility, he should be doing all he can to make you feel comfortable and part of that is listening. He should be able to hear about your period, past, hopes and any thoughts else that might make you uncomfortable in that situation. I think what he did was gaslighting. He didn't feel like putting yo…

Watching the bodycam footage is super upsetting! They wanted to charge her with domestic violence. Instead of questioning them in a safe environment, they questioned them in a situation where even if she realized what was happening, she had no way of getting home after. Brian's body language is super off. It felt like he knew exactly how to play them into thinking she was the aggressor. I'm just really upset that it was this easy to get the cops of his back when they felt like something was wron…

He lied about it being his game because he knew it was a deal breaker. True story: guys who joke about slipping women sleeping pills actually do it. If you meet someone who didn't, they are the exception, not the rule.

I used to love Kate Winslet but she's not the best judge of character. She continued to work with Roman Polanski for ages after he admitted to drugging and raping a 13 year old girl and then ran away from prison.

So a woman is essentially an incubator in your mind? There are pregnancies where it's harmful to carry to term. I understand having an issue with hurting unborn babies but you seem to be ignoring the fact that you are hurting the mother and maybe killing her.

Lie and say you don't have it or that you need to check with someone else and they said no.

Let the pregnant women be the judge of what their bodies or partners can handle. Having someone's baby doesn't "force" them to commit - that's a fantasy that no longer exists. It was also probably the shotgun that did the actual forcing, not the pregnancy... Forcing motherhood on someone doesn't work. Parenthood needs the support of more than one adult.

I agree, nobody should be forced into having a baby which aside from being a huge life altering situation, has a huge impact healthwise. But they are interfering and alone, there isn't much one can do to change things

I know, but nobody has to know the result of the pee test and you see a doctor to know how far along you are. I don't think the doctor needs to define it as more than six weeks and leave it vague. This could be a workaround

I really hope the younger sister realizes he's a jerk and is asking for advice on what to tell her sister so that she junks the douche but somehow spares her feelings and keeps her from taking all this on as baggage in a new relationship. I don't think the younger sister wants to let her keep dating him but she does see that the older sister is completely and blindly "in love" - so much potential temporary hurt. There's really nothing to learn from this ass and the sooner she gets rid of him, th…

I think distributing it is. The privacy laws in terms of where you're entitled to privacy, aside from your own home, is only in a bathroom stall. Dressing rooms aren't entitled to privacy even though people expect them to be 😳

I think there may have been infatuation involved and a false feeling of knowing someone based on a character they played. I think that people who tell these kinds of stories always leave out important details like where they were in life, how they brought up different subjects. I assume they spoke during the three days and they probably got to know each other and were willing to get to know each other. Leaving out information that makes all the difference is the kind of thing that gives people f…

He doesn't watch porn - just creates it. The term LVM doesn't suit him and neither does NVM - he is the definition of adding negativity to your life, maybe for years to come. Can we add the term TVM - Trauma Value Men????? Taping someone without their consent with high probability of putting it on a porn site he "doesn't jerk off too" - is super traumatizing. I don't think some of them consented to sex either.

I never thought about it that way but it's definitely something I felt. If someone tries to "protect" a perpetrator from "being falsely accused", they are actually falsely accusing the victim. People rationalize the first as though they are open minded but they are actually not.

This gives me hope! I found a few subs I wish didn't exist. I was especially shocked to actually see a requests sub. They actually post requests for different rape scenarios and they add them willingly. An earlier post reminded us that the porn industry is known for bad acting - reason enough to believe the recordings they add aren't fake. Not all men do this but a lot of them let it happen or go easy on rapists, stay friends with potential rapists as long as it happens to a girl they don't actu…

I think both are awful. You're not exactly in a safe place in any case. I think girls should run away from both. If they don't hear the no, it's the definition of rape - consent is needed for every act

I am so sorry this happened to you. You're right, it is the number one homicide predictor. This defense is used because it humiliates the victim even further and they think that will shut them up. Suddenly any time she got spanked is open for discussion, any time she tried something new. The lives of women matter. If the guy tries to claim that most women like it, it's not true. Most of the women that have tried were pressured into it by false claims scrotes made.

It's messed up, there's also the consent defense which has been used too many times. You can't consent to being strangled to death. Scrotes think they're gentlemen because they ask beforehand.

I think that some of the issues dealt with in therapy are about police dealings and how society reacts. Somehow I feel like more could be done. There's no reason to ask, we don't need to fix them - we need to leave. Leave them and get out of their messed up situation. Never put their kinks or needs above our wellness or safety. They've rehearsed these responses and say that other women liked it which doesn't matter since they can't prove it and that shouldn't change another person's opinion.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/12/20 03:36 PM

I can't believe it's a thing. I also think that a guy asking for consent doesn't change much - he still wanted to hurt you! That's just never okay no matter what they do before or after

I think they only consider women they can't manipulate into keeping quiet as the wrong target. They don't feel sadness, they just feel a challenge to dominate after the attack too. There's really nothing about attraction that's relevant. I am pretty sure the victim didn't find the rapist attractive and wouldn't care what he thinks. She's not a product for his fulfillment.

Well, I would walk away after that prank but I would really enjoy it a bit. They all do come back and who cares what he will say after? I went out on a first date with a guy that said his friend sewed his jean pocket and accidentally forgot a needle there. I didn't think she was really a friend and I realized he probably deserved it. Didn't agree to a second date and I'm glad I didn't. I think that feelingless pranks on a guy so that he slowly thinks he's losing it is kind of a good thing to do …

There's going to be a day when he realizes that if he has enough to date another person, the other person does too... Hopefully he will go mad and paranoid at that point and ruin any relationship he actually has. Love your empowered attitude and you will be much better off than him in the future. P.S. It would have been great if you could have gone to his house and made really small but inconvenient cuts in all of his dress shirts. The kind you only notice when buttoning.

Probably shouldn't discuss your case against your boss with a hookup at work. You don't know whether he has your interest at heart or just trying to get information out of curiosity. Maybe he's insecure about your hookup and wants to show it was okay. In the worst case scenario he could be passing everything to your boss. A guy I've been talking to for a while somehow commented on my looks and I really didn't appreciate it. I told him that it sounds pretty hurtful and right away I added that I have more to me than looks. I think that you're forgetting that the blame is on the rapist and rape culture. Hook ups are just what they are and if it's not mutual and the guy doesn't stop, then it's rape. The woman isn't to blame.

After coming forward about a serial rapist, a girl who went out with him told me she joked and asked him whether he was going to put something in her drink. He liked the joke a little too much :/ At first it sounded too weird to be true but they do actually enjoy the irony and playing with fire

Yeah, I agree, he's not the only guy around. If he shows up again, that's definitely the definition of breadcrumbing and pretty much putting on a fake personality just to meet their own selfish needs.

So he's also said a lot of good things in the past. He told me I was smart and pretty and I mostly think he picked up on me feeling weird about relationships, sex and everything else, it's a little soon after getting dateraped but I don't want that night to define me. Otherwise, I wouldn't have called him out on the breadcrumbs. I guess I can't really have it both ways, acting like I might have acted before and hiding what happened :/

I think it depends on what they've done. If they forgot you had a dentist appointment in the morning once, it's okay to let it go. They may have had a lot on their mind. If they forget to call you for a week, it isn't okay to let it go. If they harm you physically, it isn't fair to yourself to let it go. If they push you down on the bed after you say you would rather not tonight and then you juat give in - it is okay to be angry later. Your wants and needs are important and theirs are important …

Yeah, I recently found out my ex friend was friends with a guy accused of rape. He kept saying the police conducted an investigation and found him innocent. Suddenly the police do a good job. I can't believe he really thinks that the girl jist woke up one day and decided to "claim rape" all because the guy lied to her about wanting a relationship. I'm new here too and learning a lot myself! Well, I don't trust him so obviously be careful to always have other friends around if you meet somewhere that isn't public. I think he just got lazy on the second date and wasn't a good conversation partner. If you weren't that interested in him, then it won't matter much if he reappears in the future because that will probably not change. You should only keep him around if he's fun for you, but if he wasn't, then it's probably best to cut him off.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/06/20 02:58 PM
1

I didn't think you left anything out, I just think he's sneakier than what you think. If he keeps all his online dates as friends, that's a red flag. If he just expected you to run into each other, then it might be easier to be "friends".
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/06/20 02:49 PM

It did feel like he overcharged her and didn't just break even. If a guy is willing to cheat you out of what might seem like small change, he's probably only looking out for himself.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/06/20 02:44 PM
1

I guess he was hoping you might change your mind but the entire interaction didn't make much sense since he wasn't clear on his intent. It feels like we're missing a piece of the puzzle. Maybe he's more of a texter and nervous in person. He could have thought that getting to know each other as friends might be different or maybe he wasn't sure what he wanted. Sometimes LVMs try to keep a low flame when they aren't sure whether they're interested or not.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/06/20 02:41 PM
18

How would he even know what to charge? There could have been a sale at the market. A guy should offer to pay but respect your wishes either way. If he asks you to pay for every single thing, where does it end? What about the electricity bill or the water bill if you shower at his place? If a guy can't let it go, he's probably going to be stubborn when you argue and you don't want that.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/06/20 02:31 PM
11

Since he was the one that was rejected and he suggested friendship, does that mean he's hoping you'll change your mind? Or is he just hoping it won't be awkward when you run into each other? If you didn't have much to talk about, wouldn't it be important for a good friendship too?

It's definitely a script written by a man or a woman that's been brainwashed and didn't do the research on her own. The forensics in this department are getting better and in some cases, date rape drugs can be detected in hair up to a few months after the fact. It will take years before we get more realistic statistics and even then, there are so many things that can damage hair that it won't be close to the actual amount. 😔

Seems like these guys collect friends who are girls just because they can't seem to let them go. I once asked a guy about his female friends and really hated his answer. He said that he didn't find them attractive - that's something that can definitely change and I wouldn't want to compete with a lifelong friendship. I ended things with him after about three dates. He may have done it w/o meaning to but his insecurity shouldn't lead to your own. You need to explain that talking about other women isn't considerate of you, it's like treating you as one of the other guys. If he needs to feel validated, there are better ways of getting this. I understand why you were afraid but you do need to make sure this is a one off thing and that he doesn't view women as objects. That kind of behavior can't lead to anything good.

It means he doesn't see her as a real person - he feels the need to categorize her as pretty/bitch. I hope he just does this to the women on reality tv and not IRL but I doubt it. On another level, he was probably trying to check whether you would react and see whether you would get jealous. This is manipulative and doesn't take into consideration your feelings. If the only way he can satisfy his own insecurity is by hurting you in the process, it isn't healthy. I wouldn't play the same game. It…

So I could maybe tell them a story about a guy friend who went and then tell him I won't judge and ask if he's ever thought about it or known someone else who's gone? I feel like it's something I could only fish out of a guy I'm already kind of intimate with and by then it would be much harder to eliminate the guy. It depends on your definition of serious. He could be shy or just hadn't met the right woman. It should be an orange flag, not a red one. If you see other red flags, run.
