I've had success getting dates and numbers with indirect approaches on campus daygame, but my issue is escalating. I feel like I come off too much as a friend. Is there anywhere I can learn more about how to escalate verbally and physically during that first interaction?

I like your method and it lines up well with other advice I've read. My issue is that I do daygame on university campus so I have to save most of the physical escalation for the 1st or 2nd date. Can you recommend any date ideas/locations that are better for physically escalating like you described?

sweet thanks. I'm glad I didn't jump the gun there - mostly because of your original comment.

Whatever you're reading into that text, or how she's not that type of gal and she's 'just forgetful', you're only deceiving yourself. Your ego is telling you lies. Yeah, I suppose you're right. I appreciate the down to earth analysis. Really needed someone to ground me there.

Stop waiting for other people to invite you out, you need to be the one inviting them out! Either all together, or arrange meet ups with each person separately. Then you can expect them to reciprocate.

Yes, I agree. I still think OP's list of questions is valuable as a way to spark conversations, but I'd never consider using them one after another like you said.

It is better to talk in direct statements. Statements instead of questions, got i! I've heard that advice before but haven't really understood it until now. I'll be practicing this and active listening asap. It's not necessarily why I made this post, but I've learned a lot from you, thanks! When I've tried to implement this advice in the past, I get stuck thinking about how to convert my question into a statement. But now I'm motivated to give it another shot.

On the topic of physical contact: when you reach over to touch a girl, don't look at your hand. You'll be nervous and tend to focus on watching your hand touch her thigh or whatever, but DONT DO THIS. Similar to how you look a person in the eyes as you shake their hand, make sure to keep eye contact or look anywhere else, and keep the conversation going. It'll come off as more natural. Tip: A simple way to initiate kino is through taking her hand, or placing your hand on her lower back as you su…

You're exactly like an older version of me! After four years of lifting, I'm finally at that point where people comment on my physique. Now I just need better fitting clothes but it's hard when you're a student with little disposable income and no stores nearby. The piece of advice that resonates with me is to assume attraction until she makes her disinterest clear - either verbally or nonverbally.

Any rationale behind this?

I've come across that quote before, but it's often in the context of using their self-interest to your advantage - making them feel good by having them talk about themselves. How does that relate to the fake interview questions? I hope you can tell I'm being genuine here because I'm trying hard to understand your point, but I'm still confused.

Maybe my question is off-topic for this subreddit, but in my original post I tried to make it clear that I'm specifically trying to learn about people's passions. I'm not necessarily trying to seduce them, I'm mainly trying to expand my knowledge through interesting conversations. Edit: I think my replies will make more sense to you if you go back and read them in this context.

I've read the sidebar, most of the top posts, and have been frequenting this subreddit for the past two years. I've also read some of the posts in the search results you linked. I'm not sure what I'm missing here. I was just asking you to clarify your point in this instance.

I agree with everything you said, and I'm going to focus on listening more. But I still don't understand how this applies to the first few minutes of meeting someone. For example, say you walk up to someone at a party, and want to start a conversation. You can't start listening right away - first you need to greet them and start a conversation somehow - either by asking questions or making remarks. That's the part I'm asking about. How else would you start a conversation?
/r/seduction05/09/16 01:24 AM

Is there a reason why you won't just say what you mean? Teaching by example and demonstration is fine but in this case it's just confusing. I'm assuming your point is that asking these kinds of questions is like an interview, but you're not providing an alternative, and your comment is general enough to apply to literally any set of questions. It's so frustrating when people think there's some virtue in being intentionally cryptic and vague.

He says "listen", but you respond "this is not the answer I'm looking for. Tell me the answer I'm looking for." I responded that way because it seems like /u/ThrowawayPUA misunderstood the question. Listening is important, but irrelevant to what I'm asking: The first few minutes of conversation consist of a two-way dialogue where the initiator does most of the talking. If you accept this scenario, it follows that there are better and worse ways to lead the conversation towards the persons' passi…

Are you being serious right now? What do you want me to do, stand there quietly and wait for them to say something? The burden of the conversation is on the man - even when talking to other guys, it's expected that you lead the conversation if you're the one who initiated.

I'm aware of the main topics like food, family, travel, pets, and hobbies, but my question isn't about those. I'm asking how to get them talking about the topics they're passionate about. Something that is more unique to that person, like something they consider themselves an expert at, rather than just a preference for certain types of food.
/r/seduction04/09/16 03:07 AM

Right, but I'm talking about the first 5-10 minutes of meeting someone. Most people won't start talking about their passions without you initiating it.

I've decided to do at least a hundred direct approaches before trying anything else. My line of thinking is to pick something about her I genuinely like and craft a compliment based on that. Any do's or don'ts here?
/r/seduction01/09/16 01:53 AM

She should never have any doubt that you're talking to her because you're interested in her romantically/sexually. It doesn't mean that she believes you automatically like her. It just means that you're getting to know her for a specific purpose, not as friends. This makes a lot of sense to me, and I think it's my main sticking point. What are some good ways to show intent during daytime interactions without giving a compliment?
/r/seduction31/08/16 09:32 PM

Who cares if she says I'm creepy. I don't give a fuck about the opinion of someone who can't even take a compliment. What you're saying might be okay for warming up but otherwise it's pathetic if that's the only reason you hide your intent.

What if multiple methods work with my personality and beliefs, how do I choose one?

You can try to keep the focus on them and practice being EXTREMELY entertaining. Go up as if you're "that dude" with the cocky smile on campus. Fuck being a dancing monkey for some random girl "You want to be my party buddy this weekend, and we'll text each other which parties are the best?" Then, you can say you didn't find any good parties, and hope she texts you haha - a bit tricky but it can be done :) But this is cool

"find one you click with" This phrase is what I have a problem with. It's no different than what you said before: "find a method you like" What does it mean to click with or like a method? For it to make logical sense, just a gut feeling, or judge it by some external standard? These are the questions I have a hard time answering.

Any recommendations for which method to choose? I'm in that stage where I'm trying to find a method that makes sense to me (that I like) but it's difficult.

Talk to her about a few things without giving it away that you're interested. Why are you hiding your intent? Why not go direct and open with a compliment? I hear so much conflicting advice on this one point, I don't know what to believe!

I'm taking some challenging courses and don't have time to invest into a fraternity. I have a couple hour long transitions between classes when I can approach.

I would advise against is hunting. Great point. I'll try to approach while transitioning between classes. (I have a an hour break twice a day). What needs to be direct is your intent. Simply, do not hide the fact that you want to get to know her in the romantic sense. This is the hardest part for me! And I feel like it's a major reason why I'm not getting dates. I don't know how to show intent without straight up complimenting her. I'm used to thinking very logically and tend to take myself too …

I only have a few semesters left and transferred here last fall, so it's a little late to go the social circle route although I will certainly try. I also don't have any good or social pictures of myself for a dating profile even though I consider myself conventionally attractive. I'm also too busy to involve myself in organizations that I'm not particularly enthusiastic about just to meet people. Those are the reasons I feel like cold approach is my only option at this point. I spent the large …

Lifting hard gives you an endorphin rush that lasts all day! I see a huge difference in my mental state on off-days. On the days I lift I find myself to be more relaxed, happy, and social.
