Well yeah you could look it that way. However 'I have a boyfriend' is a strong reply. Here are some situations when I've told girls I have a SO: 1) I actually had a SO 2) A girl was being clingy/annoying from the start and I wanted nothing to do with her. So yes, you can take it as a challenge but you're better of moving on

I usually ask a few conversations in, so it doesn't appear like all you do is smoke. This should not be your selling point but just an excuse to meet up, preferably at your or her place. Note that this works in my situation because I'm still in college and nearly everyone smokes; I doubt the success rate would as good if I were in my 30s / working a serious job.

A clean, made bed with a tempurpedic mattress cover. It's like ones they sit on my bed they don't really wanna leave. I don't blame them because shit's comfortable as hell
