Straight up. Honestly just have a good time with it all, that’s what I’ve learned. Learn from the red pill shit but don’t make it your creed

Well now I have a good girlfriend but usually girls under 28 didn’t give a shit

Woodstock era was way more wild than EDM ever was. EDM was just a party vibe fueled by the resurgence of good mdma in the US. It never had a free sexual vibe, or spiritual. It was more “let’s collectively imbibe in party drugs as much as possible and feel amazing”.

Worked in big tech as a soft engr? They liked the idea of stable money? Usually most girls don’t give a shit I work as an engineer.

Of course when you’re single and at your peak you should aim for a smorgasbord of 8+. But just being valuable because they’re hot will reduce the probability of those girls having qualities for a high quality LTR. As you hone in on your life’s purposes, I see a really large value in the stability of having a quality girl by your side. Don’t undervalue that. Make a decision based off of what you want. Tbh many “hot girls” who are vapid, dramatic, and immature seem to be worthless when viewed thro…

Go with a nerd-esque goofy happy go lucky smile. Always defer architecture design decisions to your superiors. Then report back on how it worked well to solve the problem.

Find your true hobbies/interests and join local communities around them. You’ll meet people and widen your network.

Reverse engineer it all. Why do you smoke weed? To feel good, to pass time, laugh with friends etc. What happens when you remove the weed and figure out how to do those by yourself? Learning how to do that raw becomes a part of who you are, and you’re that much more self-sufficient and strong.

Are you working proactively to make any big things happen in your life? It doesn’t have to be “becoming a billionaire and taking over the world.” Even just making the effort to gather friends for an event. Daily practice of a language. Planning a trip somewhere. Building a bike for touring. Anything except passing the time on YouTube/Reddit. It’s too easy to fall into that and a day of that turns into weeks, into months of just chillin.

Yeah dude, don’t obsess. There are much better flags to focus on. Obviously something like 50 is glaring, there is a chance that she’s still high quality... but it’s now like a 1% chance. For <10, it would mean she lived a reasonable life like I illustrated above, and I wouldn’t even focus on it.

It’s not even about the number. It’s more about: is it reflective of a healthy woman, mentally/physically/spiritually? Especially when taken in the context that you have now that you know her. I would actually say a girl who mostly had a few medium term relationships and minimal short flings by mid/late 20’s is ideal. She met a few guys that she liked at the time, put some time in together, and parted ways. Seems healthy, like something you’d be fine with your daughter doing. 7 is like she short…

Hey good techno is fun, meditative, deep. But overdoing it with the drugs is definitely a downfall, having to depend on them to have a good time is not the way to live life. Do you think the pills messed people up? I plan to keep it to once a year from here on out.

It’s all about what you convey when you say it. Because you’re unsure of your stance and afraid of social repercussions, they sense that. Own your decision (it’s a smart one), and just say you don’t want one... “I’m good man, thanks”

Just sounds like you’re a bit lost. You’re prob overcompensating with all of these things that TRP says is attractive and shit, which it is in a cold objective way, that’s why you got ONS. But to meet quality people in general you have to be on path your and mission. On your mission and living your life >> you’re at ease >> people you meet are at ease >> they open up >> higher quality bonding >> find good peoples (including a chick)

Yeah very true and scary. The thing is, it doesn’t happen to everybody. So how do you tell a lifetime admirer/kind heart apart from a switcher? You may just first need to call their bluff with an airtight prenup. I’ve also thought maybe some psychedelia experience, or intense/dangerous situation could give you a glimpse into who they really are. That can help evaluate things.
/r/askTRP04/01/21 01:50 AM

Dude in your situation I’d just chat and pipeline them for a few months from now. Explain the situation with your brother, it’ll score points and weed out the sloots. Maybe they’ll even get a test and you can meet up.

What’s the best way to build the trust? I’m thinking by putting yourselves in difficult situations (traveling, etc), you can better see each other for who you are - and then make a better decision about the relationship.

Yeah imo money is purely good for living the life you want, period. Any idea that money or toys will be helpful with girls is doomed to fail for anything more than casual encounters.

Which country(s) are best? I would make a decision to live somewheee based on that. Just curious, as I’ve read the foreigner advantage has decreased a lot recently.

The financial aspect is where TRP is most useful imo. If you just stumble into a marriage, you give up all your leverage. Only a girl who truly admires you wouldn’t take advantage, or is kind hearted. But is there a way to get an airtight prenup if you must get married?

this is it. I think it’s good to go through a stage of emphasis on the bad things that could happen. Gives you proper information to get rid of all sugarcoatings. But in reality there’s guys who meet great girls, both parties adapt to any shortcomings, knowingly give up the excitement of a casual life, and enjoy life 100% without being a cold hard “Alfa” and meaninglessly spinning plates their whole life.

Lol Nice. My theory is that most of that, even the muscles, just gets you more opportunities. End of the day you gotta find someone who likes you and you like them and you’re willing to work together, if you want anything more than ephemeral fun or status.

Life’s pointless without goals, challenge, and integrity. Do you think guys who drink on a boat with fake friends and bang high class hookers are happy? That shit would be fun for a week or two and then get old. But money can help you towards your goals, and that’s why it’s good to efficiently stack the papers my man.

A lot of the guys are <24 where it doesn’t matter much. Or they’re hornballs that get too distracted by the power. Key is to channel it properly through physical, mental, spiritual direction.

Idk it’s a weird time, I’d give her the benefit of the doubt if you’re uncertain. If you feel more certain deep down like she doesn’t care much, then go with that and confront reasonably when you visit next.

Only you know how she reacts around you. You can tell if she’s half-assing or not. If she seems to like you a lot and respect you, It’s winter and it’s a pandemic and people want to be around family more. Don’t look into it more. If she seems half ass, then I’d enjoy your solitude, visit, and if it doesn’t vibe well then move on.

Nah. In a basic sense the masculine essence protects the feminine essence from the harsh outside world. By bringing your internal problems onto her, you’re showing you can’t do this essential job. Talking with close friends, brother, cousin, dad, uncle. But not a girl you have romantic interest in.

Maybe she had a vision of what she wanted the relationship to be. “This time Im gonna be like this and it’ll all work out.” So she put on a front to make that happen. Of course we all know that you can’t hide the real person forever. That’s why I think any fake alpha shit is dumb, it’s just prolonging the inevitable clash of two real people. At least you have seen it and can move on and not waste more time.

Hot girls are still on it. Depending on your attractiveness they’ve fine-tuned their algorithms, all with the goal of getting you to pay for “the next tier” on a monthly subscription.

If you’re younger and traveling, the excitement and energy will carry you through. Certain native girls will dig it. Of course hostels are fun as hell too, you can insert yourself into the social hierarchies that form every few days as new people come and old people go. One tip is to actually put forth the effort to learn a language. Spanish is huge bang for the buck. Most people don’t, because it actually takes time and consistent effort. Probably the worst part about the OG red pill. Honestly it’s something most won’t understand until they’ve actually done the random hookups with below average, average and above average girls... if it doesn’t assist you on your journey of purpose, it’s a waste of energy/time/thought.

Alcohol is bullshit past a certain age if you’re not benefitting from it. You already see that it’s holding you back socially. So cut the umbilical cord now or later, or it will only hold you back from becoming the man you can be.

Grind it out unless you see another path. Ideal end situation: solid pay, making something work well with a team you respect, solving problems. Friend-wise just get your life path under control, hit groups for hobbies like running, meet people with good vibes. Link up, etc. Go to concerts/raves. Not terribly hard.

How old are you/this crew? Drinking and “throwing down” is totally fine up until 25 and then it becomes something to look at in the context of your own life. The clarity and maturity gained from a year off is something well worth it. If you need, just drink a Heineken 0.0 or a seltzer and lime, or Coca Cola. Have fun and own it. “I’m taking a break, hangovers were brutal” “Doing a month off cleanse” “Nights were getting too crazy” I ask about age because anybody who’s 25+ and looks down on you b…

Strong rock. When you can satisfy comfort/safety, sexual intrigue, and are a rock in and of yourself - aka without her you can still live a great fulfilling life. Only emotionally unstable women would give this up in search of cheap thrills. Just like only a fragile ego man would pass up a rare high quality woman for a dumb Netflix bimbo with fake tits.

Two girls that you truly find attractive, in one week, is pretty much an A+. A lot of dudes literally just hook up with girls they’re not even attracted to, just to tell their friends they hooked up with a girl. “Yeah bro I spin 5 plates” and they’re all just basic betch netflix 6.5’s

Don’t make moves, it would be so cheesey. Just live together and make a new friend. The opening of your social circle and perspective (learning about how her/her friends qualify guys) is worth way more than trying to get laid quickly. Only make a move if you really feel it, or throw a Hail Mary towards the end if you don’t think you’ll stay in touch after - because why not.

I’m only 28 but I think the sky’s the limit even until your early/mid 40’s if you want to keep it going. Just need to make stuff happen in your life. Most of your friends you made through college/hs/first job etc are all going to be settling down, slowing down... just getting way too comfortable. All you have in your 20s vs 30s is more of that youthful wet behind the ears energy. People look at you as a kid and you can use that to your advantage. Other than that there’s tons of advantages to 30+…

Dude, girls feel social pressure to be in a relationship, etc... her past relationships were prob subpar. Depending on how she said it I’d take it as a big compliment. Ha dude you probably have the answer in front of you the whole time. I find proper meditation to be really effective at letting you pause for a moment at each point in your life where you make a decision. Just pause and decide not to be narcissistic. Pause and decide to be the more chill one in the room, etc. Maybe that shit is who you really are, or maybe it’s just layers of conditioning to unravel as you sit still and let the core come through.
/r/askTRP06/10/20 02:21 AM

Yeah - you just go to the core of stillness in yourself. No conditioning, no politics, nothing. And then you slowly build your life around that. That’s rock hard stability no matter the circumstances.

Save dinner for a reward date, 3rd or 4th. Unless it’s a cheap casual new place you wanted to try out anyway, then go for a grab and go. I like the grab a coffee and walk the park as an easy screener. If you drink and the vibe is good then grab a drink, or go back to apartment for one.
/r/askTRP13/09/20 04:04 PM

If you’re smart you’re: •grabbing the coffee and then walking in the park nearby •using the date as a short (30mins - 1.5 hour max) screen to see if you actually like the vibe, bounce to the bar or your apartment if it’s really great

Get turned on by the “realness” of a girl. Yeah her face is a little off, small tits, or something... but she’s warm and really putting effort in, etc. There’s only one of her in the world and she’s mine right now, etc. More nuanced perception than the “yo bro she’s an HB9 son!” kinda stuff.

Drugs just disconnect a natural connection between real action (not just swallowing or sniffing something) and reward. To bring that back you’re going to have to go through a dry period in life. No huge highs but less and less lows. Just put your head down and do it. One week, then one month. Get great sleep, go for a run, meditate. Go grab a coffee with a cute girl and just enjoy the interaction. Things will be fine, but you gotta commit to that path to see the payout. Be resolute in your decis…

When a girl gives birth, she knows it’s hers. When a man has a child, he’s never 100% certain it’s his (of course with DNA testing, but that only started recently).

Eh. Go for tinder et all, have your profile good. For widest appeal, you gotta display dual functions. One being that you’re mature, experienced, have a lot of societal value. Two being that you’re still a lot of fun. Realistically these girls have 30 as their max. Anything about that is daddy fetish shit, which is fine. Otherwise, go to the bars and drink. Slip into an outdoor rager if you look younger. But personally I’m only 28, stopped drinking, and I couldn’t stand being at a bar or party.
/r/askTRP11/09/20 02:01 AM

For pure personal benefit I’d say the plus of having that during the quarantine is nice. Would not underestimate how hard it will be to find a quality girl during covid. Bang some par or subpar sluts, probably doable. Depends what you want. As far as “wasting her time”, that’s something that I’ve also pondered and isn’t really addressed well here. If there’s more to grow and discover with her, then keep it going. If you know 100% deep down you wouldn’t marry, then end it soon or towards the end …
/r/askTRP11/09/20 01:55 AM

You’re going to hopefully reach a point in your life where you have nothing to prove, and no desire to get back at anybody, etc. At that point, you have to just do it because you want to do it. That’s all there is.
/r/askTRP11/09/20 01:32 AM
3

This. Once you realize this, and of course internalize, it just makes things way more simple. Life, as in making decisions, should be simple. If your value is there and the girl doesn’t recognize your value, she is either: wrong or doesn’t appreciate it. Both are grounds for feeling bad for them, moving on and not caring.
/r/askTRP11/09/20 01:15 AM

Yeah lol. A 9.5 is an enigma. I’ve used the term 9 maybe a few times in my life. Most really really attractive girls I see in real life or online dating are 8.5 at most. 8 is “very attractive” and approaching trophy level.

Make a plan. Execute it. When stuff gets tough just remember “Nike. Just do it.” Get health and sleep in order first. Then a plan to get a solid job/career. Live lean and save cash. Cash gives you options. All of us won’t be millionaires and travel the world. Just realize that if you are disciplined and make each step firmly and make it count... you will end up “successful”. You’ll be fine.

It’s literally the counterpart of what men find attractive in women. Men want a natural beauty 10. Women want a natural powerful alpha 10. Men will accept a woman who stays fit, elegant, lives healthy, and is intelligent yet warm. Women will accept a man who excels at at least a thing or two, stays physically strong, and can provide for a family. Then there is always personality and life goal comparability, which exists outside of this “realpolitik” spectrum. These are important to some (down to…

Yeah it’s taken a few years for this TRP dogma to finally end. Sex without connection is essentially a novelty, drug-like experience. Just like coke or something, completely worthless and probably damaging after trying a few times.

You’re prob gonna find out that they’re hot but lacking in other areas. Like warmth, intelligence, etc. When you value those more, the overall value of them drops even though they’re still 9/10 looks. Then just treat them as another person.

I don’t know much about London. New York can be your oyster if you’re outgoing and have lots of hobbies. It’s a pricey place, and you can easily get priced out of some circles if you don’t make enough. Really hot girls of all types. If you can crack into the top 20% you’re gonna crush. In the next month or two they will drop. Many leases expire in August. Also, look for people looking to sublet to finish the last 3-6 months on their lease. They will take anything. I personally have had my fill of NYC, and will just be living at home for the fall/winter. My lease is up in August. Great spot but I don’t see the point. I’ll be saving upwards of 2k a month.

Dude honestly if she’s intelligent and business oriented she will get with you either because you have power or a gateway to power, or because she likes you. If you don’t have #1, then I would simply invite her to a cool event, party, etc sometime and see if you jive. If so, make a move. If not, just keep her as a hot girl contact to leverage in the future.

You could get a cheap studio at rock bottom prices. Split the cost of it with a friend and alternate months or weeks there. Do a little city and then a month out west, etc.

Stamford is terrible imo. I lived there 1.5 years. Not the city, nor much good natural stuff. All the girls are hoighty toighty CT girls or just corporate slightly above average basic betches. Lame af.

No fap will always help. Yes there are flatlines, sometimes up to 2 weeks max I’ve seen. But it is the best way. 1 good sleep 2 good exercise 3 good diet (no drinking/smoking) 4 nofap 5 good mental space, quality fiction and meditation There you go. If you are not old and commit to doing these 5 above for 1 month, you will feel amazing.

This girl is def super warm and intelligent, from Japan. So maybe she is just super good at playing the game. I have the slightest sense she could be just trying to lock down a solid guy, I get cynical about it. But I guess at the end of the day, if she’s just playing me I don’t lose anything.

Sounds like you are sleeping irregularly. I would cut the nap out and then get to bed at 9-930pm and get a quality 9 hours. Wake up and do even a short 20 min run. Stick to this and see how your body will repair and re-energize.

It is something you will be forced to grow out of sooner than later. The stupidity of being drunk will catch up to you one day. I’m going on 7 months without a drink. Easily one of the greatest moves of my life. Would recommend going for the Heineken 0.0 if you’re a beer guy, or simple seltzer with lime otherwise. Use the lockdowns as an excuse to avoid the big party situations, at least for a little. Embrace the “boredom” of living without a crutch and as time passes you’ll be reinvigorated wit…

Dude she’s lost interest. Would advise to keep her as a plate and just spend the free mental energy and time focusing on whatever it is that you enjoy or will get you ahead. Trying to make her like you will only lose you more time, mental energy, etc. Never try to make people, esp girls, like you.

Read Siddhartha by Herman Hesse. Learn how to sleep, eat, and move healthy. Then allow yourself to explore like a child during times of boredom. You may find something that you enjoy. Combining enjoyment and physical activity is great too. Like bike touring, training for a running race etc.

No quality girl is going to like or prob even believe hundreds... I’m thinking you get it in when a similar kind of topic comes up, like “how many dates have you gone on in the past year?” And then triangulate the number.

You think? 16-25 is 9 years. So 5+ boyfriends or medium term relationships in that time? Seems completely within reason. I don’t think having a bf is going to damage them emotionally. Moreso getting pumped and dumped, being used, and also having bad behavior rewarded by the pumper.

Great part about being young is you can try stuff. I’d change your lifestyle for 6 months, live somewhere different and more austerely. Have a few high quality things, and see if you get inspired by the daily vibe and mental space that could bring you.
/r/askTRP05/07/20 11:34 AM
1

Yup. You need to be a match personally AND align incentives/goals, then you won’t have problems. A lot of problems I hear are from women who are materialistic and take it to a whole new level once married. You don’t satisfy that itch and she loses all respect for you. If you marry a materialistic women, you have to have the foresight to expect what will happen.
/r/askTRP05/07/20 11:31 AM

End of the day, the “lifestyle” to take away are just general things that a high quality and self confident person will have. You should live you’re own life the way you want. Maybe you don’t see the point of “spinning 5 plates bro!!” and you just want one quality women at a time, etc. Live healthy, spend time on stuff that matters, and don’t let the fashions of the day influence who you are at the core.

Yeah this obsession with numbers is one of the dumber things in the TRP universe. A drunken ONS with some basic betch who’s a 6.5 on her best day is utterly worthless unless you’re an incel.

Imo being a hoe is due to validation-seeking behavior. They sleep around because they love having a guy value them for whatever period of time they’re together. If a girl says she’s had like 2-3 boyfriends over the past 5 years, generally 80%+ in relationship. Educated and articulate about things. Balanced behavior when things don’t exactly go her way when out in public... These are all good signs that she doesnt need validation through sleeping around, and a good sign she’s not a hoe.

Eh, I think you just need to be compatible with your wife where she just likes who you are and will always view you as the alpha/rock in her life. Also, make sure your goals of married/family life are aligned. If she imagined having 4 kids and a white fence and you didn’t, it’s going to reduce leverage because she won’t see the value in staying with you. Even subconsciously.

You simply need to get over it and do the best you can at your new job. Good sleep, no distractions. I've come to a conclusion recently that the goal once you have basic survival set is twofold: Find the essence of who you are - Meditate, read, explore, form your own thoughts, be curious. Manifest who you are and what your art/skill is in the world - create music, build a company, coach a team. Add to the world and help others positively manifest themselves too.

If you've progressed to the point in the relationship where you don't have much more to gain, cut it loose and don't waste her time. If you would look back when you're 80 and truly wished you had these upcoming years free, then cut it loose. If you can still grow more inter-personally by having her as your GF, then continue and revisit in a few months. I'm in the same situation and feel like I will need to cut loose soon, out of respect for her time.

This is where being able to read a person comes into play. If she seems to truly like you but is hesitant to sleep on the 1st or 2nd date... I would take that as a good sign. If she sleeps with you on 1st or 2nd, your chemistry isn't incredible, and you're just arbitrarily making a move so you can have sex. Then she's definitely lower quality. Most higher quality girls are thinking by sleeping on 1st or 2nd that they'll come off as a slut. Just FYI that "higher quality" does not necessarily me…

You're comparing yourself to some arbitrary standard that was set when you allowed yourself to be morphed by society, Instagram and all that BS, including the neurotic blackpill type peeps on the web. Live healthy, be curious about life, do stuff you want to do and learn about the world. You will become the person you are. Nah man, submissive means that she believes that your masculinity is strong enough to be a rock for her. She's willing to let you take the lead because she thinks you're strong enough. It's the essence of femininity to submit to and bolster the masculine energy of creation and security.

Hmm seems like some sort of validation seeking behavior, possible red flag. My current LTR has said she doesn’t like ONS because the sex isn’t even that good. I’m thinking girls who do a lot of that are validation seeking. At least that’s what I hypothesis through root cause is.

He’s analytical and semi-autistic. After awhile you may just realize that you want to just be yourself and put yourself out there. You’ll attract better matches instead of trying to analytically get yourself in with some girl who’s only asset may be that she’s physically attractive.
/r/askTRP13/06/20 03:28 AM

Dude you’re reading into this TRP stuff way too much. 13 is a completely reasonable number. You realize that if girls have a few bfs over the years, put out a few times with guys they really want to lock down... that puts them in that 10-15 range easily. Add a few drunken regrettable one night stands in college and you’re at 20. And that’s a good threshold. More than that is getting a bit of a red flag.
/r/askTRP13/06/20 03:24 AM

It’s all about the situation, and also what you mean by apologizing. If you’ve framed your life as being yourself and living truthfully, and you apologizes in a strong and steadfast way... she may admire you even more. Of course that’s assuming she’s high quality as well. At a certain point in life I wouldn’t want to play games anymore, and don’t want to be around people that do. Admit you’re wrong and move on.

Would focus on building a sense of community in anyway you can with the people around you. Explore languages, arts, music and develop your taste. Read some great worldly fiction, to expand your mind. Travel the world when you can, and put the languages to use. All of this is going to set you up to interact with high quality women, not bar skags.

I’m with ya. Dude you had your time with this kind of bs and now what you expect out of a time investment is a much higher return. I’m 28 and going on Tinder outside of NYC makes me sad most of the time. If you’re an intelligent and worldly guy with a solid job, I would never waste my time with even the boring Netflix/wine type girls, let alone the ones you describe. Sounds like you already made your decision to not waste your time/energy. Stick with it and it will open up even more doors.

This. I’ve been with decently hot girls who I sensed didn’t really respect me and some were even feminist types. They would say and do stuff that might seem raunchy, but it didn’t reflect the respect/pleasing dynamic. At this point in my life, it’s such a turn off that I don’t even make moves on these types anymore.

One thing that just clicked for me in the past year was thinking about how you might get them where you want, and they smell. Or they say something inane and stupid, so dumb that you don’t even want to waste your time around them. The whole point is to reenter the mindset (and reality) that you are both just fallable humans playing the game and trying to enjoy life.

Coffee/walk in the park. More dynamic, people watch, sit in the grass, sweat a little.

Drinks are alright but personally I don’t like to sit still and just drink. Maybe you do the coffee screen and if the vibe is right you grab a drink after as a reward to cool down from the walk. In the winter weather, drinks are definitely the go to though.
/r/askTRP08/06/20 01:26 AM
2

What are you trying to do? I find that grabbing a coffee and walking in the park is the best. Anywhere from 30 mins - 1 hour to screen their vibe and go from there. I just do hi, very short chat to gauge interest, and then say let’s meet up here for a coffee walk. If they aren’t responding or saying no, then maybe your expectations are slightly off. Edit: also don’t do small talk on the app, unless it feels natural. Example, a really hot college xc girl opened me and so I brought up some running…

Same for me sometimes. I would recommend quality meditation, reading good worldly fiction, cutting out all substances including coffee/caffeine, and going for runs with hill sprints. All of these will reduce anxiety in different ways and let you be more centered for as things possibly get back to normal.
/r/askTRP08/06/20 01:17 AM

Dating apps lower your value in the exchange versus an organic meeting. So for a girl in your league, you have to have something that really sticks out or have good timing. She’s matching with plenty of guys in her league. What I do is minimize effort and just open with a lame “Hi”. If they really think they’d be into you, they’ll respond and then you filter out the wastes of time.
/r/askTRP08/06/20 01:14 AM

Regular meditation over a period of time can also cause the same end effects you describe here. And it’s a habit you have for life. I’ve only done a standard 1/8th of mush, in a dark bedroom alone. It was more of a nightmare and not super enlightening. Although I’m glad I did it. Next time will be out in nature.
/r/askTRP07/06/20 01:30 AM
2

Take a step back and learn about yourself. I find meditation (some sessions good and some average), to be a quality way of taking a step back. Sometimes you get caught in thought spirals, obsessing over something. Free the mind of past conditioning and think about who you are and what you truly want in the moment. Ex. Maybe a girl you’ve been thinking about really isn’t a good match. Maybe she’s “hot” and a trophy but there’s nothing else you like about her.
/r/askTRP07/06/20 12:54 AM

Basically your own unshakeable view of yourself in the world is the #1 easiest indicator of value for a girl to inspect. If she senses that it’s a lie, she will dig quickly to make sure she isn’t wasting her time with a chump. High quality girls (not talking about looks) are the best at this. This^ is separate from my point about effort. I’m just saying that just making the effort will get you somewhere. Really you will reach a point where you want to know yourself, be the best person you can be…

Easiest indicator of a person’s worth is their own self-image. Now a high quality woman will see through a fake aloofness/confidence facade, but your average girl will find it a +2 for attractiveness. It also generally shows will to procreate and protect, even if you’re faking.

East Village and LES are the most "fun" for right out of school, esp if you are of the frat/sports variety and like going to bars. Getting laid in NYC can be super easy. But first you have to get your stuff straight. Up until you get your life down pat, you might find you can get certain types of chicks. Yeah and for myself, personally, the juice isn't worth the squeeze for these types of groups because the whole thing comes off as a high level facade to me. Any socially aware RP type guy knows the kind of way you'd need to act and portray yourself to "get in" and it seems silly. I'd rather do the things I like doing, and if I brush into a solid social circle that likes doing the same thing then I'll give it a go. And the upscale club type girls are going to be very vapid and skilled at recognizing the signs that point to money, power, etc. All of the nice and balanced girls I know are not going out to Meatpacking every weekend. Those are the ones with a 3 min IG story and looking to climb the ladder.

The deceiving thing about NYC is that it is actually tough to truly enter new social circles and build bonds. Very easy to "meet" people, say you'll grab a drink later, etc.

If you go out in the classic LES/EV area, there will be plenty of young 6-8's. Because they are young and caught up in the energy, it really isn't that hard to go for it if you're "buying in" to the energy and amplifying it. An example is 13th Step on a Tuesday. $1 beers so the alcohol is flowing. Anyone out on a Tuesday is looking for fun. Not that hard. 230 Fifth to chat up groups of tourists, show them the "real" NYC (whatever that is). To go for the higher quality, you really need to match w…

Oh for sure. Those are some solid natty numbers. Do you run/bike or do any interval training? Or was your goal to just put on a lot of muscle mass and not care about that stuff? I just don't want to be too bulky because I enjoy being quick and somewhat agile while still having some mass... I'm thinking if I were to add 10 lbs of straight muscle and be just above 190lbs, that'd be pretty solid for natty "all-purpose" shape.

Truth, agreed. Just comes down to figuring out how to carve your path independently of others. That's what it comes down to. People respect you for it, but ironically if you've carved your own path, you don't really care much about others' opinions (in a healthy way).

Yeah but money can act as a tool that gives you the runway to pursue what you are good at (what makes you shine), without having to worry about crashing and burning. Ex. Make 200k working office job, quit and work on what you want for a few years. Or develop the skills you want without worry about rent.

I agree. I think this post is great because it removes all of the poisonous points that have become RP gospel for whatever reason. Yes, ruthlessly optimize your life and goals to some point and become "better". But realize that you are a human, you will fail sometimes, and the present moment is all you have and will ever have. Remove the worrying and negative, trying to be some sort of fake alpha, and just go live and express your vital energy outward in the purest way.

Check out ergolog. There's a benefit to meditating after a workout. Lowers cortisol and raises GH and Test. Great way to recenter after an intense effort.

This is very key. Even though I look great on paper at this point in my life (24), I feel very lost as to what I want to achieve in life. I think this vibe is exuded sometimes, and does not excite the ladies. They see I'm attractive, am on a good path, but then don't have that fire. Once in awhile though I'll be out and have an attitude of knowing that I'm 100% on having fun in that moment, and I do much better. Living in the present is key, truly seeing everything at that moment, giving your pr…

Yeah man I agree. It's all just a waste of mental energy. I almost think I'm worse now than before I started reading all the BS.

I think the title and gist of this betrays the many women that have sacrificed to fight off invaders. TRP needs to be less us vs them, it poisons the mind. Only over the past few months have I began to remove this poison.

So. Moving forward it would be best to keep her on the burner, but also go out on dates with other girls and try to make moves and fuck them to up my "abundance aura"? I wouldn't tell her or allude this to her, as I don't think she's the type of girl who would like it. I'm going hiking with her this weekend, and we might sleep overnight in the back of her car.

Real good stuff. I try to fight back that nihilism every day, as I try to figure out what I truly want to do. When so many of the waking hours are spent working at a job done almost solely for the money, it's difficult to cultivate these other aspects of life. I remember points in my life (only 23) where I had a purpose. It's an incredible feeling to go about your day without a nihilist malaise. Need to figure out how to evoke that prior feeling and wipe the malaise off for good.

So what are you saying with the term "middle tier?" Do you mean guys that have developed all the tools (looks, physique, good job, fun hobbies, etc), but can't make the final leap and embrace what they know they should and could embrace? I have a cloud of nihilism that is very very difficult to cut through at times, and I feel like this is the source of me not being able to self-actualize my abilities. I can be slightly neurotic sometimes (esp when smoking weed), even though I've developed the s…

Good idea. I'm not good at cooking, I make simple stuff for gainz and that's about it. So maybe go with "let's meet up here for a run on Wednesday and then dinner at my place afterwards". And then have a little bit of wine and make moves to escalate it? If she isn't about it, keep it cool and then next?

I think it's what you said right there. It's the point at which you objectively (as best you can) look at yourself and see the value you have worked hard to build, and find that it's worthwhile to open it up to the world. You wouldn't go to market with an alpha of an app, v.0.0.1 right? So you work to build up to v1.0 and then launch. Only you can decide when that is.

Pretty much all you need to know right here. Even being on a varsity sports team sometimes doesn't give you that much of an up over the frat guys. These girls are in their own little world. If you want them, you gotta hop inside the bubble. Obviously there's some decent girls that recognize that, and are able to befriend you just because you're a cool dude, but they're few and far between. After college, expect some of the former sorostitutes to start noticing you if you're killing it.

You can look below at my long synopsis of the date, but it basically went alright. Ended with an in car quick hug and me saying that I'd hit her up if I was going out tomorrow. She was like ok cool. Then I said thanks and went inside.

Ok so the date went meh, as I sort of got that afternoon droop and the coffeeshop was too small for comfort (obvious bumble date in a sea of coders and colleagues and solo people). I walked in 3 mins late, the girl ordered her drink and it was slightly awkward with us doing the hug and usual introductions as I was also trying to order. We sit down at a super small open wall table. Just some usual banter. Then we move to a bigger table for the churros. Was there slightly over 1.5 hours and not on…

I just made the biggest mistake of my life this weekend while under the influence of a ton of alcohol. I cannot slide back into the lull after a few weeks, and so I've decided to give it up for the foreseeable future. What are some tactics you've used? I'm considering just being firm about it. If I go out, like this weekend for my friends birthday, I'll just drink a water or a soda.

For day trading, what kind of methodology are you using? Just your gut? I don't understand how you could be specifically good at certain stocks like Netflix, over others.

Same boat as you. Post college is an exciting time. I'm spend hours each day building my knowledge about the world and saving money to build security and flexibility. I think the key is to look at guys you've crossed paths with that are 28-33. They're almost 10 years ahead of you, but sometimes they don't look or seem that much older. The thing is, if you take care of yourself you'll be 29 or whatever and look very close to you do now, but you'll have many years of fitness and muscle added, year…

Great points. I guess I'm being stubborn thinking that I can make her understand with enough effort or well-worded words... But I should just abandon that idea and be nice and go with the flow. They did a great job raising me, but I know that I need to foster my own killer instinct that wasnt brought out so properly in my earlier years.

Well I'm saying that I'm pursuing a strategy to save and build my capital so that I can seize a good investment opportunity soon (real estate or something else) and be well off with passive income flows by the time I'm in my mid-late 20's instead of the usual schmuck that never builds up because he has brand new car payments, 'luxury' apartment, etc. Basically I want a very solid padding and passive income as early as possible. I have a dream to abandon the 9-5 game for at least a year or two, a…

Truth. But from the limited things I described, what would be a worthwhile path moving forward?
/r/askTRP05/01/16 05:14 PM

Truth, I needed to be reminded of this. My parents are great overall, but my mother definitely doesn't understand what kind of mindset I need to make it big in the world, and she probably never will. I guess I took things too emotionally and failed that sort of shit test.

I am financially independent. They paid a good amount of my college loans to keep total interest paid down. I could pay off the rest of my loans, $15k, off in cash right now and be completely debt free. But idk if that's the best idea, especially if I can get a return higher than 3.5%.
/r/askTRP05/01/16 05:12 PM

Truth. I'm not dependent on them, I make more than enough to support myself. I do get rides to and from where I live occasionally (like once a month), because I don't have a car (to save more money to invest). We've just always done stuff together, like they made payments on my college loans to reduce the total interest paid, etc. Def is equivalent to a shit-test, right on that.

I've been reading trp for a year, and my smv and life in general are pretty good. 8 in looks, 23, traveled to 20 countries, making 70k in finance IT, 6'0" 185lbs, but generally weak game. I'm just trying to get to the next level. So cutting out other peoples perceptions and such, and getting rid of social media is probably the best way to clear my mind so I can make "battle plans" moving forward.

This is spot on with what I've been struggling with. About 2 months ago I had a great frame, and then it all fell apart when I started being in my head too much and questioning going full-on red. I question what I need to do moving forward. I think monk-mode isn't the answer. I think I need some real life rp friends that I can collaborate with and run ideas past.

Definitely the heart of my problem, or weakness. Looking for validation from others. Something that I'm aware of. Sometimes I relapse.

Idk maybe I'm being a pussy, but it just seems weird to message them out of the blue. Like "hey what's up?" And it's FB, not tinder, so I can't be super forward.

Thanks for the reply. I'm a 50 minute train ride from the city, so it's definitely a possible thing. I go in for the weekends often, as I have a ton of friends there. I was going to visit friends and then go out with her for a drink or coffee.
