A lot of people think it means telling something sensitive to a girl and expecting you to like her. What it actually is is sticking to your values, being true to yourself and OPENLY communicating just the way you are straight to the girl. Then you let her do whatever she wants with that information - she can laugh, shit-talk you, lose attraction etc. But you accept yourself the way you are so you really do not care at all.
