41	The backlash against male heterosexuality It's quite simple bio-essentialism. Men's sexuality is seen as inherently more predatory more violent and more worthy of concern. And that women in a misogynistic framework can't really have sexual desire of their own they're just led by men to do shit. Mental health stigma and men I think Dr. K has a really good video on it about how therapy is ineffective with treating men and why and I don't think therapy for men is necessarily a bad thing. I in no way meant to imply that mental illnesses associated with women receive no stigma. I know better than to suggest that. There's even arguments in feminist communities that the diagnosis of Histrionic Personality Disorder in and of itself is misogynistic as it comes from the term hysteria a misogynistic diagnosis. 0	A short answer to the claim that misandry doesn't kill Misandry doesn't kill CIS HET WHITE MEN. The idea that men are inherently more violent does get black men killed and gives them longer prison sentences. I'd know my black stepfather was racially profiled multiple times in front of me. The fear of men's sexuality disproportionately harms gay men are often unfairly assumed to be predators. We literally had to remind people that the men and boys in Palestine still mattered as much as the women and girls.
