I found a guy iny state that specialized in uncontested divorce and basically just handled filling details into legal templates and filing them with the court. He represented me and my ex under the stipulation that if we ever disagreed on anything he immediately drops you both as clients with no refund. Got the whole process done for about $400.

You were in a caretaker role so you feel the sadness of losing not just a spouse but also a dependent/child. This is not the purpose of a romantic relationship between adults and you don't need to feel guilty for discontinuing the role of a parent because it was never your obligation to be that in the first place.

I have a therapist through Teladoc at $85 per session but he shuts off at 40 minutes and I feel like I'm not getting much from him. I've done couples counseling with ThriveWorks.com and the therapist there was great and much cheaper than betterhelp etc.

I concur with the others - hot/cold is just uncertainty with whether her new guy will commit or not. The situation could be anything from him being married and promising to leave his wife to her just being insecure and thinking he will leave her. Either way she needs a security blanket. I'm going through the same thing now and believe the only option is to proceed with the divorce. If we were to reconcile, which is unlikely given the fact pattern in my case, it would have to be because we both w…

There's no such thing as a "random BJ". Literally never has happened to any man. Like you pulled a chance card in Monopoly and it happened to be the "get a random BJ" card. Take responsibility for yourself.

You're leaving for another woman, you have kids, and she has no income. My tip is to leave your current relationship with your wife and finalize the divorce before starting a new relationship. The courts will not be kind to you.

My ex and I drafted terms for our Marriage Seperation Agreement in google docs and we were 100% on board with each other's demands. I found a local lawyer that specializes in amicable divorces and handled both of our paperwork and filing fees for $500. His contract states that if either of us can't agree on any terms, then he drops both of us as a client immediately. So it only works if you can agree without a court getting involved.

My stbxw told me we were bonded for life by our newborn son and we planned our lives together years into the future. I am a model father, stable provider, in good shape, a great cook, sexually active. When my son was 8 months she declared that she never really loved me and brought up arguments we had 7 years ago. She started cheating on me at 4 months pregnant while I was remodeling the nursery. When my son was 7 months old she found "the one" (guy number 3 over that time period), moved into the…

Doesn't matter who bought it or what receipts you have, it's marital property to be split. It may cost more for a lawyer than it will to just replace it. Comes down to game theory.

Pay a tax professional and find one that offers an "audit defense" product. Most of the time it's a scam but it's cheaper than hiring a tax attorney after you know you're being audited, and the $49 or whatever it costs will help you sleep at night.

I'm just getting started, she dropped the bomb on me a month ago. She doesn't have a family propping her up, but does belong to some relationship-support discord groups which seem to default to "you'll be happier if you leave" advice. At the end of the day it's her choice to take that advice or not. It's her choice to frame the narrative in such a way that she gets the advice she wants to hear.

Same deal, 14 years and then a history rewrite. I'm not perfect but I'm also ever willing to admit that, and work on myself and my relationships. I've grown as a person over the years because I take personal betterment as something I seriously and constantly work on. I'm 37 years old and in the best shape of my life and make more money than I ever have. No addiction, no abuse, no infidelity, no money problems. I do chores daily, pay the bills on time, and spend quality time with my son every day…

Women initiate 80% of divorces and are doing it in far greater numbers.
