| -15 | Ruling: Boy can stay on girls field hockey teamIt is not sexist to state a biological fact. I am not saying that boys are better than girls overall, just that, in sports, it can be very dangerous to integrate teams. Haven't you seen Who's the Boss? The daughter is what is considered a "tomboy" and very athletically gifted, but becomes encumbered by her budding breasts as she starts puberty. If you have not seen it, I highly suggest watching it. The episode is online and called "Samantha's Growing Up." | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 08:32 PM |
| -4 | Ruling: Boy can stay on girls field hockey teamI am sorry, I think you must have misunderstood me. I am sure everyone recognizes that Title IX made boys' teams drop and girls' teams increase in numbers, even if the new girls' teams are not as good. This is why wrestling is being eliminated in so many places. I didn't mean that girls, in general, are not as good as boys, just that when integrating sexes it will always be unfair to boys because they will look bad playing against a girl or beating a girl in a sport. This is why the high school … | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 08:18 PM |

| -1 | MGM -> MGMI resent your accusation that I am a troll. It is truly preposterous. I am not saying I am infallible, it is just a theory I came up with when doing some reading on the topic. I would like to hear other thoughts or conclusions about this possible connection. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 08:13 PM |
| 1 | One-sided anti-father story in the Courier-MailThe paper should have asked the father for comment, but unless the children are lying, they should not live with their father. Is this part of an ongoing story? I feel like I must be missing something. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 08:10 PM |
| -13 | Ruling: Boy can stay on girls field hockey teamThis is really a good idea, I am glad that boys and girls will be on a (literally) equal playing field. In the case of Paige Sultzbach, though, I think they made the right decision forefiting rather than playing with her. It may not be a popular idea but Title IX does not mean girls are as good as boys, not to mention there would likely be a huge lawsuit if her breasts were somehow hit in the game. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 07:38 PM |
| -5 | Woman here, just wanted to say something. (Not sure if it's the right place, but here I go.)Yes you really should be better than you have been to your man. You should not yell or slam doors. It is really good you have had some time to think and see your errors. It is to your boyfriend's benefit (and yours too) that you also renounce feminism, because that is a large part of what causes your awful behavior towards your man. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 07:33 PM |
| -2 | MGM -> MGMDo you find fault with something I posted? I would like to hear other perspectives, for or against this theory. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 07:30 PM |
| 1 | A common theme: Females lack confidence.Excuse me, are ad hominem attacks allowed here? I don't think they are productive or on topic to the conversation about female bullying. Why would you try to derail your own topic? | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 07:29 PM |
| -2 | MGM -> MGMI guess you're right, but why, then, did they choose that order for their company name? It just really makes you think. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 07:28 PM |
| -1 | A common theme: Females lack confidence.I am very confused by your post. I was agreeing with you. Women are far more awful and catty to one another than men. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 07:12 PM |
| 1 | I need help with an English paper.Your points sound good so far. However, the first one (about the right to vote) is a bit iffy since people who are over a certain age, or disabled, can still vote but would not be eligible to be drafted. You could also talk about it as being involuntary servitude. SCOTUS upheld the draft in the early 20th century (and again in the 1980s) so it may be hard to have a good source for that (it being involuntary servitude or discriminating) unless you are albe to read the case law. NOW does appose a … | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 06:31 PM |
| 1 | NHS spends £1m a week on repeat abortions:I cannot upvote this enough. If a woman doesn't want to get pregnant then she shouldn't have sex, and if she does, she should have to deal with the conseques herself. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 06:20 PM |
| 2 | I read somewhere that in the Netherlands they have pretty reasonable paternity laws. Don't know whether it's true, but it would solve the child support problem. This is true because even though women don't reproduce asexually, it is like they might as well do so because it's all done in her body and not anyone else's problem to deal with. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 06:19 PM |
| 0 | A common theme: Females lack confidence. This is true. While women often bully one another, I have never heard of men or boys bullying each other. Great post, AFM. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 06:16 PM |
| -1 | What do you all think of my take on feminists vs MRAs?This image doesn't make any sense to me. What is the circle supposed to be? I understand that in each of the boxes, the green zit-like shapes are "extremists" and "moderates," but not the circle. I think if a zit has a green-ish tinge to it, a doctor should probably be the one to pop it, not yourself or your significant other. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 06:16 PM |
| 1 | Why do I have to pay for everything?Well what is your problem? You sound resentful for having to pay for things or being expected to, you sound resentful when you don't pay for things. How about the next time you date someone, just take turns with it. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 06:14 PM |
| 1 | Trying to get my son back from his mother. It is probably a bad idea for you to kidnap your son from his grandparents' house. Even if your ex is not doing what she is supposed to, two wrongs don't make a right. I would get an order of custody asap and make sure it is enforced. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 06:13 PM |
| 0 | did your mothers ever do this to you?I am too old to have ever had facebook growing up, but when i would get in trouble my mom would take my door off the hinges so i could not slam it. She would then send my dad in there with his belt where he would whip me with it (bare thighs) for a minute or two. My dad also once went through a 'special shoebox' I had under my bed that had roaches, notes, and used condoms in it (don't ask.) I got in big trouble with that one too. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 06:12 PM |
| 2 | A friend who's unfamiliar with MR is being bullied by false rape accusers, and is afraid to tell anyone. What's the best way to introduce him?I would urge him to come here and also read COTWA to get more information, there are good sources there too. It really sounds like if anything your friend was the one about to be raped. I just can't believe a bitch (sorry I mean 'long time acquaintance') would do such a horrible thing, but then again I guess nothing should surprise me any more when it comes to women and sex. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 06:09 PM |
| 0 | Is this discrimination? That is really a misandric mindset. I am a Mason and when we have various events that women are allowed to attend, they make the food and serve us and then wait until we get our plates (buffet-style) and are seated before they make plates. They never complain. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 06:06 PM |
| 5 | Just a quick note of thanks to some current MRA's that tread the other subredditsI am really glad TracyMorganFreeman and OThompson and other MRAs make a point to go to feminist subreddits and twox and make sure that a male/MRA perspective on things is heard there. There is no reason that these women should go around in certain subreddits and expect warm responses by like-minded individuals to their feminist propaganda. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 06:03 PM |
| 0 | A thoughtful deconstruction of the movie "Bully": "Yes, the majority of bullies are straight males. But the majority of bullying victims are also straight males. This, in a nutshell, is why identity politics is not the solution to every problem."I haven't seen this film. It was my experience that bullies bullied girls and boys growing up, but that girls mostly only bullied other girls. A lot of the boys who were bullied were perceived unmasculine in some way. Juveniles are horrible sometimes, and I truly wonder about a parent who would ever raise a kid this way. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 06:01 PM |
| 1 | Shock Poll: Romney now leads among women. Despite the media hyping the so-called war on women, no major outlet today noticed Romney’s new lead with women voters. This is great. I really hope he beats Obama. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 05:59 PM |
| 2 | An oldie but goodie: Men are more than twice as likely to adopt as women. And we aren't just talking about single-sex couples. This is using data that is close to ten years old. It's still a small figure, and is mostly accounted for by women who marry or remarry, and those husbands adopting the wife's previous kids. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 05:59 PM |

| 0 | TIL: Lesbians, like hetero women, are much more likely to initiate divorce.I agree. If men are going to get married we should only marry other men, if it is allowed by law. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 04:54 PM |
| 1 | I read somewhere that in the Netherlands they have pretty reasonable paternity laws. Don't know whether it's true, but it would solve the child support problem. This makes more sense because if she didn't want to raise a kid on her income alone she should have aborted it or not let herself get pregnant in the first place. She shouldn't hold the man responsible for her shortcomings. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 03:29 PM |
| 2 | I read somewhere that in the Netherlands they have pretty reasonable paternity laws. Don't know whether it's true, but it would solve the child support problem. It really is out of line that females can do whatever they want with their bodies with no repercussions and men are expected to pay the price. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 02:52 PM |
| 3 | What is The title of a Men's Rights promoter? If feminist is to women, what is a non-masochist title for us?Now that would've been something to see. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 02:24 PM |
| 3 | Can someone explain the HR4970 to me as if I were a 5 year old childAs I have read it, the house version would roll back provisions that protect immigrant men and women. A woman associated with a mail-order bride company has lobbied congress heavily to reduce protections for immigrants. (http://www.tahirih.org/site/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/fourthcircuitcourtdecision.pdf) Here is the full text of the legislation. It's over 150 pages, so not easily summarisable: http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/BILLS-112hr4970ih/pdf/BILLS-112hr4970ih.pdf I have been reading it and s… | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 02:12 PM |
| 1 | I read somewhere that in the Netherlands they have pretty reasonable paternity laws. Don't know whether it's true, but it would solve the child support problem. This is a really brilliant idea. I think you should take it up with your congressman. I do not know if it would be done federally, though. I am sure you could lobby a state to do it. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 01:56 PM |
