No, you're smart. That's a tool in your belt. Just because all the guys around you are smart too, doesn't mean they're all smart with girls. Doesn't mean they're all humorous, or charming. Doesn't mean they all use that intelligence to give the girls tingles. If you're smart you can be funny. If you're funny you can be charming and confident. If you can be charming and confident, then you can give girls tingles and seriously isn't that the point. You're intelligence is stature, if you know how t…

I'm not a beta! ...fuck. Seriously though, thanks for the reminder. Just had to drop weight off my squat (think it's the new diet) and was frustrated. Keep making posts like this and I might end up squatting in one of your shirts. Alot of guys are betafied by those fucking Disney made for TV movies. My mom liked watching one, Genius, with me. The plot goes: guy is smart, goes to college like 3 years early and does research, girl likes guy because he's smart. Now here I am a stem major, stratosph…

There's a shit ton of RP lit out there. And if you don't want to deal with that, philosophy and math are still subjects which (due to the demanding nature of both and the objectivity of the latter) tend to suit RP men well and can be done recreationally.

100% agree. This is something idealistic (to the wrong ideals) BP world doesn't tell you. How does this carry over into getting laid without paying for it via divorce or hookers?

This is intentionally ridiculous because (IMO) the cops don't actually want to deal with it. They know the score. However, the mother is probably a typical FB mom who follows the police and will be looking on the polices page. Basically, if they don't post it, she'll keep giving them crap.

I actually really like this idea. I don't know if you'd call it black knighting. Hell, I don't even know if you'd even call it on topic for this sub. But I like this. Do I care about student prostitution? Some. Do I care about ballooning tuition? Yes. However, what would be the actual effect of this? Probably a more monetized cock carousel. That's it. Instead of lowering their tuitions, colleges might instead tout "more scholarships given to low income students." They might install a new women's…

I dunno. There are a lot of sales people that don't make shit. But if you're entrepreneurial or you're good at the corporate game then yeah, it could be more profitable. But again, that programming ability of yours gives you another tool in your belt for any entrepreneurial endeavor. It really is up to you whether business makes you more money or not.

Finish your degree. You can go into sales with a CS degree, but not the other way. Alot of business these days relies heavily on tech. The knowledge and tech abilities may let you do things you wouldn't be able to otherwise.

My initial reaction was: "It's a dumb 15 year old. I was dumb at 15. Who wasn't (excluding Einstein and Hume)?" Then I thought "How did he get this way? Why is he doing this? How did he percieve gentlemanliness in such a manner? How does he not recognize how servile and demeaning this is to him? To be a woman's constant porter? This kid wasn't born sans self respect. It's fairly simple. Stop demonizing men. Stop portraying us as buffoons, or as rapists/murderers/pedophiles. Stop portraying us as stupid. Leave us our locker rooms, our combat sports, our gyms. Stop trying to change the school curriculum to be more representative, it's representative enough. It's representative enough because every man can identify with Aeneas or Achilles in an aspirational sense just as every woman can identify with Dido or Helen or Antigone. Unlike the "identity" writers with…

i kinda thought these were examples rather than lines to be memorized. It's like math. You don't memorize the equations, you learn the argument so you can solve a variety of them, even if you haven't seen them before. But you learn the arguments themselves best by examples and problems. Similarly, you read examples, then you go and try to do something similar w/ repeated cold approach, learning the way to be funny, charming and sexual as you go.

This. The only way to develop trust in your gut is to develop intuition. Women think intuition is something you're born with. It's not. Intuition is a trainable ability which comes by virtue of experience. Your intuition can only be trained through a process of: observation gut feeling (hypothesis) acting on the gut feeling (experiment) outcome (conclusion) unconsciously shifting the stimuli which cause the gut feeling (revising your hypothesis) rinse and repeat until you know consciously or not…

Nobody is saying you're wrong in that your best resources are the good students. That's 100% true. It's why they shove the smartest people in honors colleges so they can learn from one another. However, schmoozing professors is about being the prodigy they always wanted. It's about them being able to say, "you know that guy? He was my student, and look what he's done since." From The Masculine Principle: And it is man’s place at the periphery that is our natural home. While we concern ourselves with laws, government and social mores, we are intruding upon women’s space and women’s affairs – we are auditioning for their approval as – nominally at least – their masters (though it is clear on closer examination that all men in such positions are actually women’s servants, be they politicians, priests or husbands). On the other hand, when a man realizes he is alone in t…

Seconded. Thank you for posting this. This is on point except for the part about addiction to dopamine. Dopaminergic systems are part of the reward and addiction pathways. You get addicted to rewarding stimuli. The faster the reward accompanies the stimulus, the more addicting this is. Here's the thing. When you have abortion, you don't have kids born to mothers who would be too busy riding the carousel to raise the kids. Scary as it is, the world is better off with abortion, because the people who don't abort are, more often than not, better equipped to raise children. Still not as well as they could be, as we see from our current beta nation, but better than a single mother riding the carousel.

The advice to stop thinking is spot on. I think it's important to add that for some reading (eg Gaddis or Pynchon) it may not be a good idea to read before bed. I don't think it's toughest, except in pseudo combatitive situations where the demonstration of strength and skill is in combat form. It seems to be the impressing of masculine superiority on your surroundings. Sometimes it can come simply by being really smart and funny and studying with the girl. I disagree. Bitterness is bitching without doing anything about it. I'll use the metaphor of a novelist. Bitterness is whining in your shitty apartment with a bunch of failed novels and no words on the screen with your only comforts being cheap bourbon and a pack of pall malls. Bitterness is an effeminate anger devoid of virtue. Certainly an unproductive anger is cancerous. It leads to a stagnancy mixed with malcontent. You're conflating TRP with reactions to TRP. TRP itself is simply the set of maxims detailing the very real differences between most men and most women. The philosophizing done by Rollo and Illimitable are both a means to understand this truth by way of induction from examples in life experience and deduction from the maxims we gain from the inductive process. TRP views are the inevitable reactions to the aforementioned maxims. These maxims have been effectively propagandized against and ridicul…

Woah, IQ and morality are two totally different things. Now, a strong father teaches his daughter her value, and how whoring diminishes that value. Honestly, anyone who's ever read a decent neuroscience text will tell you that at the nt and neural pathway level, things get too complicated for behavior predicting. Best you can do is something along the lines of: depression is frequently correlated with heightened hpa axis activity or missing a temporal lobe usually means you'll have some serious memory deficits. I guess the latter is a maxim. Idk if the former is even that.

Well, if you take that to be a maxim, then yeah it's best not to marry. Of course this is ignoring the thousands of years previous in which men have taken wives to be theirs in the mutually beneficial arrangement of pair bonding and, for a very resource rich man, polygamy. But you're right, this is the modern situation.

You're implying that emotions are vices. Out of control emotions are indeed vices and the product of a lower man. Honestly, you're right. Not about the "turning the other cheek part" because I don't think that's an Alpha trait, that's something else entirely. But this is dead on: A proper alpha doesn't succumb to his vices, he controls his behavior by not letting things like lust, vengeance, and happiness impact his immediate reaction. Not to mention the best type of revenge to such a situation …

I see what you mean. But I think that in a committed relationship the dynamic changes. An abundance mentality is important, but anger exists for a reason. Yeah, you should be angry at your partner too. You two committed, but on a primal level, theft is exactly what happened. You lost reproductive capacity to another man. You'd won a woman and committed her, then you'd lost her. A woman can't lose her reproductive capacity by virtue of a cheating partner, what she loses is resources. If she keeps…

Columbia has a history of frame control in the face of liberal idiocy... They also housed the group that came up with critical theory though so IDK.

This is a very old school idea. That man took what was yours. The world wants to frame it some other way, but that man took your woman. Kicking his ass is not only the instinctual response, it's the right one. But the world doesn't see it that way anymore. The world sees it as "you hit that guy" which is completely unrelated to "he slept with my wife". Effectively, men have lost the right to exact their own justice. They have ceded it to the state. The state has ceded advantage to the woman for …

Yeah. Yeah, radical feminism and its sister the LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ movement are certainly cancerous. While feminists of the first and second wave had a point that was well justified, its devolved to being angry with men for looking at cleavage and fat acceptance and saying hi on the street. LGBT is in some sense similar. Yes there are gay kids getting beaten up for being gay, which is fucked up. But there are also gay men being angry because someone looked at them wrong. Notice I didn't cite minorit…

How long have you been in Ukraine? It sounds like it's a hell of a place from how people talk about it in this sub. And fancy lingo doesn't mean shit, so long as you see bs for bs. It helps sometimes, but at the end of the day a dude who doesn't know the lingo but knows the argument is a thousand times better than a schmuck who knows the lingo but not the argument. Much of academia is the reverse, from what I hear.

It's not just younger women. My mother does this too. Yup, she'll do something hurtful and then go through that same process when I bring it up. She's a woman too, and the hamster is endemic to them. There's nothing to be gained. Except personal vindication.

What bothers me is that all these trigger warnings seem to be less an attempt to help people in dealing with trauma and more an attempt to weoponise their trauma and use it to demonize the established culture in some postmodernist ecstatic critical theory trance. To demonize the western canon, at one of the institutions that really pushes its teaching, is atrocious. For those who don't know Columbia pioneered the Great Books curriculum, which is one of the more rigorous forms of general knowledg…

I think I understand the example. "American Shit" asks about obligation to speak to authorities ie) will you screw me over in a fairly straightforward manner. "Swiss Dick" deflects, refusing to submit to "American Shit". "Swiss Dick" avoids admitting even the possibility of wrongdoing by using humor. "American Shit" glares at "Swiss Dick" covertly reasking the question. "Swiss Dick" answers covertly "I understand" by a serious look. Not "No I won't" but "I understand perfectly, I'm just not play…

In this Nation today, the number of unemployed outnumber those with full time jobs; the numbers are even worse when you factor in the tick classes that work "public jobs" that contribute nothing to GDP and only get paid with money stolen from the tax monkeys at bayonet point. OK. This is the only thing I really take exception with in this post. 56.5 million American's with full time jobs. 13.7 million unemployed. Also, pretty sure TRP is apolitical.

Being smart and compassionate with people you care about is the root of morality. We tend to think about moral codes as being a codified legalistic thing. However in much the same way that women are not typically consciously macchiavellian, moral codes do not start off codified. They start off emotionally by faith in a sort of brotherhood of mankind. Emoting rationally is perhaps a homologous behavior pattern to what OP has talked about.

Dang, that's a really expensive hooker. But I think it's more than just that. I think it's worse than that. I think it's paying her to ruin you. Effectively it's a way to take men for at least half of what they've got. Sometimes all they've got. Sometimes more. We've moved from a society with balanced roles, to a black widow society.

The easiest way is by walking away. When you guys are getting hot and heavy and you get ready you pull of her panties and she stops you. You go okay no biggie. Start over. Get her aroused and going. She stops you. It takes a little bit of intuition which you may or may not have built up yet, but either this time or the next time of this make out-"no" cycle, you want to pull away. You want to start to freeze her out. You want her to think her "no"s are making you less passionate, like they're kil…

First off, if you can cheat on her she's not a plate. You're exclusive. You live at home and have a virgin girlfriend so you still think of relationships in a high school sense. Clearly so does she. You might be better off implying that sex is a dealbreaker for you. Do it subtly, she'll pick up on it and feel magnanimous and validated in her female intuition, do it bluntly and it'll be about blackmail not desire. Her hamster goes "I feel like I need to have sex with him to really make the relati…

Colleges give zero fucks about high school GPA after community college. They only care whether you have good community college GPA. School may not have been your thing previously, but I know dudes with sub 2.0 GPA in high school that have over 3.5 GPA in college (in chemistry to boot!). My question is are you smart? Not are you good at school, but are you smart? Honestly, you can learn manarin or hindi on your own for community college then do some sort of business degree w/ a minor in that lang…

Honestly, we've grown weak. Our elder men have failed us. So now we have to grow stronger again. We've gone back to being the skinny little brat who didn't know shit about lifting, so we go on reddit to learn and we make mistakes but we grow stronger. No, Men are the collective victims of our own quiescence. So men have to grow stronger and fix it, as men do. The danger is in a mindset of victimhood, of a mindset of "we're fucked, the sky is falling!" not "the sky is falling, lets get some bigas…

Your anger is a gift. But only if put towards action. Never let your anger become impotent. Impotence is your affliction. You are capable of so much more. Anger is your jump start into a more powerful existence. However, use your anger to develop DISCIPLINE because when your anger fades, discipline will keep you moving forward. Use your anger to develop the framework for a more efficacious existence, because if you simply burn the anger quickly, you'll end up right where you are now, but more ti…

You're right. Traditional societies spent years doing exactly that. Boys spent hours a day with older men. Fathers, Uncles, non related yet still friendly (not creepy, they hadn't creepified men yet) other men. Male mentorship and apprenticeship was very much a thing. You'd spend your entire life learning the art of manhood, but you'd never spend time as an underfathered feminized manlet. Almost everyone in our society is hungry for fathers because they, unlike their forefathers, only get the la…

True.
