| 8 | Almost a quarter of men 'admit to rape in parts of Asia'. Questions were: Have you ever had sex with your partner when you knew she didn't want to but you thought she should agree because she's your wife/ partner? How many women would be rapists if asked the same question. We'd want to see how they phrased it in Cambodian to be sure of the meaning. | /r/MensRights | 10/09/13 05:35 PM |
| -3 | The effects of letting a boy wait and decide himself to be circumcised or notBringing up vaccines is just your way of trying to setup a straw man to tear down. Bringing up assault and RAPE isn't a strawman argument? Come on. | /r/MensRights | 09/09/13 07:42 PM |
| -5 | The effects of letting a boy wait and decide himself to be circumcised or notIts a false dilemma because there's no benfit to having a foreskin. Don't deny your kids preventative medicine because you've got weird dick issues. "Body autonomy" is a crazy argument that people use against vaccines and medical treatment for kids. Its the parents' responsibility to get these things done. | /r/MensRights | 09/09/13 06:51 PM |
| 0 | The effects of letting a boy wait and decide himself to be circumcised or notTo each his own. The downvote brigade is fanatical about this issue, but IMO hygiene trumps this issue of "personal choice" by a mile. I like the freedom of skipping a shower occasionally. | /r/MensRights | 09/09/13 06:40 PM |
| -1 | The effects of letting a boy wait and decide himself to be circumcised or notYou could, I agree its not a debilitating condition. It doesn't dismiss arguments against the procedure, just an argument for it. | /r/MensRights | 09/09/13 10:20 AM |
| -4 | The effects of letting a boy wait and decide himself to be circumcised or notYeast infections! On a man! Its just gross and I'd rather not, IMO. "In males an infection that causes swelling and redness of the head of the penis is called balanitis. It is hard to control and frequently recurs in uncircumcised males." | /r/MensRights | 09/09/13 09:14 AM |
| 1 | If a man doesn't want sex, he must be broken and is a "crappy" partnerI'm with you. I just don't think there is a double standard in THIS instance. Criticizing his performance is unfair, but they're basically not having sex at all, which is the legitimate complaint. | /r/MensRights | 15/08/13 06:04 PM |
| 2 | If a man doesn't want sex, he must be broken and is a "crappy" partnerTwice in three months is a huge red flag though. Physical intimacy is important and that has to be hurting the relationship. Maybe she's on anti-depressants? Those can sometimes kill a sex drive, so she should speak with a doctor. | /r/MensRights | 15/08/13 05:02 PM |
| -2 | Please don't hunt me down and kill me for asking this, but...That's not exactly true. Uncircumcised men need to be much more vigilant in keeping themselves clean or else they can get yeast infections. edit: I agree that showering every day is not so tough. I just think it would be nice to be able to skip a shower every once in a while, like if you go camping or something and you don't have the chance. | /r/MensRights | 28/08/12 06:59 AM |
