CRT stands for Critical Race Theory. It was written by social activists and Marxist scholars in the US in the 70s. It basically teaches K-12 students that all white people are inherently racist, and everything that is a norm in the western countries are hence racist.

This isn't new. Affirmative action in college admission has been practiced for decades. They are also getting rid of standardized tests because under represented minority and women dont do well on them("the tests are sexist and racist?!"). The UCs already went test blind starting last year. They are trying to get rid of meritocracy and replace it with diversity(only when it benefits them). Fucked up.

It is called Affirmative Action. It was implemented in 1960. Most states have it. It has been challenged at many states court, so some states consider it unconstitutional because it is the same as discrimination which is why they threw it out, but they have been trying to bring it back lately due to the feminist effort and BLM movement. Many studies show that white women benefited the most from affirmative action.

It is pretty much one sided. It makes easier for women to get admitted to college especially into stem programs by assigning them bonus points. Fun fact: there are 50% more women enrolled in college compared to men in the US. So even if you have lower scores, worse gpa,etc you are more likely to get admitted than a male applicant with higher scores.

I have no problems with women being a majority when they are more qualified than men. I dont see why that would be a problem at all. Not quite, according to https://ir.ucsd.edu/_files/stats-data/admissions/freshmen/hssat.pdf . UCSD has been the second most popular university in the country for a while, and the data clearly suggests that the average SAT score of the female students is 70points lower than that of the male students(1310 is in the 88th percentile of SAT test takers while 1240 is in the 80th percentile) . They just have lower standards, and the college admit more with affirmative action.
