But I do know some movies where the guy goes on his own path with no/little involvement of female counterparts. No expert here, just my opinion. The divorce rape thrives on the idea that men are oppressors and women are oppressed. So even if a guy choses to be a stay at home dad and his wife chooses to be the breadwinner, during the divorce the courts shall still favour the woman. They’ll say she did all the hard work to keep the food on the table while the guy kept lazying around. The sympathy shall always go towards the woman. But I am not sure how this might turn out if there are no children involved.

Its natural for people to react erratically when under panic or shock. Doesn’t rule them out as guilty necessarily.
