By your definition, White Culture would be so varied and vast as to be a worthless label. Learning and incorporating food from different cultures is totally fine and justified. Borrowing words and literature references are totally okay in my book. The only time I see 'cultural appropriation' as harmful is when you purposefully taking something and disrespect it and/or monetize it without giving credit to its originators. And second taking it to extremes would take it even back further in time to who invented math.
