I don’t even feel insecure most of the time if i’m busy with something like that Then do more of that - do more in social settings - volunteering is an incredible way to meet new friends and potential partners. Even if not right away, you'll for sure meet new people who have similar values, who know others with similar values, and you never know where it'll take you. But most important - do things you love, and do them WITH people, not alone. DO stuff, and people (guys) will notice you. Go to hi…

As someone who studied and worked in entertainment, worked with a lot of 'creatives', fashion included - 97% of them are staunchly against anything leaning traditional. Find people outside of your school - find them in hobbies not related to fashion, at church, Nothing good will come out of revealing your ideals - not for your career. If you want to work in fashion, just don't reveal your perspectives - keep work separate, and find likeminded people elsewhere. Let your work ethic build a reputat…

If he wants you to move without giving you a commitment, he ought to pay for half your living costs if he doesn't want to offer engagement. He already knows you... what else does he need? Wait until the international trip - that will tell you ALOT more about where each of you truly stand. An overseas trip can be very testy... true personalities come out more than "day to day" life in the same city.

Find yourself a Russian man - they won't ever think those hobbies are 'unfeminine' ;) Well, broadly speaking, those in the 28-40 age bracket. Or go to renaissance fairs to find dates. Don't alter your hobbies - go all in! And you'll find your person who loves that you're super passionate about something. People who are secure in themselves love when their partner is passionate about something. And it sometimes doesn't matter if they're not passionate about what you love and vise versa, so long a…

If he planned it all, why should she pay? It's his idea, not hers. Depending on what he planned, a dress might not be appropriate always. There are still many ways to look elegant without a dress/skirt. I'd suggest looking into a capsule style look - but classic, none of the modern crap that has taken over. Audrey is timeless - take hints from her. She can never look over or underdressed, no matter what situation. You also don't want to 'wow' him right away - since he already knows you enough to…

Women mature faster than men, so that age range is actually only good if you've known the guy since childhood and were raised in the same community - and even then, they can change quickly once mature (after 25). So there are MANY men who have made mistakes in their younger years and hit a pre-mid life crisis, focus on themselves around 30, and then decide to try it again - and by this time, they're looking for a serious relationship for family - with someone as mature as them, which is around 2…

Did he outright say he isn't interested in /you/ anymore? It sounds like he himself doesn't know what he wants, and wants to get that in order before committing to something serious - and that includes not wanting to lead you on, because he may not be sure when he'll be ready to date. I'd back off and let him stew. I had a similar situation - and we could've made it work, but I wasn't the one who was ready - and am a little too ambitious for his pace, though could've been a great fit if I wanted…

Have you tried edging for length of time? Just never releasing - your body will naturally build up the tension to the point that where he's ready spontaneously, you are too. Just don't think about the PIV - do things you like to get edged - maybe read some smexy books, that will help you mentally. Books might also help create safe scenarios for your mind to get used to the act and then actually want it and feel good about it. I personally don't think any woman can do PIV without being aroused - …

Don't fish all the time - do it on special occasions, every few weeks. Like make an effort to make him go "wow" to pattern break. Otherwise he'll start to feel ingenuine about it and feel like it's a chore, and then won't even do it when there is a special occasion because it'll begin to associate negatively.

Positive reinforcement and telling them what to do/say/how to express their affection. I was told by the most trad & husband material guy I know, "we're simple - feed us, tells us what to do, and reward us". There's a range, some are more in tune, but even the best most loving men need a little help.

u/One-Sentence4136 put it well: “I’d love to come back to your place, I find you so attractive, and if and when we’re in a relationship, I really look forward to progressing further” Probably the best answer. Sure, fboys will take that as an invitation to try, but it's up to the woman to hold her own and stick to her word. And then let the guy go if he doesn't respect those boundaries. Especially since you said he wakes up early and it's a Sunday evening, he probably just wants to treat you to a…

Read romance books. Reading helps slow down that rush, but still gives enough of the endorphin rush from the story/imagination - men are visually stimulated, while women are mentally, so this will help bring your natural excitement back into balance. You probably have high testosterone (as well as estrogen) so have that checked out. Working out can help, I found it just makes it worse. But partner dancing might help - salsa, swing/lindyhop, west coast swing. Lots of communities all around. The d…

Like u/p_235615 said - complemnt the results of actions. like when he tries to dress up for special occasions. =) It's a result of an intentional action, rather that a result of natural circumstance. Every once in a blue moon, a hi handsome would probably be welcome (and probably after a really good night before), but too much of that will feel like hot air.

I posted about my real life example with my father - but I just remembered (because I really wanted to forget this experience) a man, also 10 years older, I dated. He is super high iq, clever, also could spend days on days talking and bantering. He actually was super healthy, fit, didn't have any addictions of any kind. But we didn't agree on relationship dynamics, even though he was open to still having a family, but an 'extended family' (as in, dating others too - sort of an open relationship)…

Do not be understanding. You have an entire life ahead of you. You do not need an adult child. No matter how much he loves you - words only go so far. I learned they last about 4 hours if there's alcohol involved. 24 hours if not. Plans are just plans. You need to be dating others until December. And he needs to come back and prove that he's changed. And the moment he falls back to his old patterns - mental victimhood, smoking, etc - he needs to know you're gone forever, and you need to mean it.…

My dear - there are plenty of women who have walked this path - and each one of them will say it never ends well. For my mother, it nearly cost her her life, literally. The consequences were not good. She has only now recovered her memory, after the car accident 20 years ago - because she spent all her life's energy believing him, each time it was "this is the last time". She left 4 times - but he came back and moved us - she stayed because she wanted a father for me. But he was not a father to …

I really feel for you because you're stuck in between two extremes - like you said, simps or far lefters in Poland - or playboys or overly trad men (or those with overly trad families) in Georgia. I know it's generalizations, and there might be good ones out there that haven't been married - so I think you ought to change your strategy a bit..... Rather than think Poland vs Georgia - think about expats and nomads. You're one yourself... most people who travel (not for vacation) are seeking somet…

Yeah! I feel you, hard! Every guy I've dated we knew we weren't compatible long term, so split amicably - but within 1-2 years later they're off happily married, finding 'the one' within a few months after splitting, and I'm still single, really feeling that bio block hit hard - feeling like I helped them, and have nothing to show for myself. I also had a few physically demanding jobs (lots of heavy lifting) that at the time I thought, no biggie - I'm a pro athlete, and then emotionally stressfu…

You can always fix your hormone levels with diet and supplements - even just getting the basics (vitamins and minerals, appropriate amount of good protein (fish, legumes)) will naturally bring everything else in balance. Adaptagens are good - we're all so depleted minerally, and good adaptagens from your heritages locality (ie, my family is from north east asia, so Eleuthro/Siberian ginsing has done wonders). There's also lots of 'grandmother wisdom' natural ways to improve health for childbirth…

(con't) When I've got a rhythm after 90 days - that's when I'd start layering skills. I'd probably start with facial expressions, because there are so many micro-expressions, and reaction habits are the toughest to change. I'd set tangible benchmarks - and maybe something like a photoshoot every 90 days, where I can see the difference my new habits are making. Or go to an open casting call for some student short film, because why not test out my skills =) It's not about acting and pretending to …

Think that by trying to figure out who I should be based on what ifs is making it harder for me Same here - I had about 6 years of anxiety with 'what ifs', especially when covid happened - and everything just got turned around. Then I saw so many wildly different examples of influencers and just other people making families and/or becoming totally new people in the span of a few years - and so many options, that all felt like I could do this, or what if I do that. While I was born in the US, my …

Oh, I totally don't think you're undateable - and I wouldn't recommend lowering your standards either. You can of course give grace if someone isn't 'there yet' and nurture small habits to make the man better - but I wouldn't give in to the temptation of lowering standards just because you feel older than those on dating apps. In any case - all my super eligible bachelor (but not for me) friends are barely online - all over 35/40, and wouldn't consider age to be an issue at all. I personally met…

You've got two responses - one feminine and focused on inner qualities and dissecting everything you wrote. The second masculine and focused on action and passion. I'd say take advice from men, if you want a man. Ask your male friends why you're undateable - and ask married men how they find their wives, why they chose her. If you don't have male friends - make them, and like the other commentor said - has to be a passion hobby. Something you care about, not just dabbling in to meet people. You …

Growing up both as a ballet/ballroom girl and martial artist - I love women that can do both. Most 'badass females' are women in men roles - but there are two shows that I think have captured the nuance of women being females, tough as nails when the situation calls for it without being compromising on their emotional and feminine needs. Burn Notice has Fiona - she certainly first comes off as a badass femme fatale - and when I was younger she annoyed the crap out of me. But after maturing and a…

I love that there's a name for this now! Currently in my own nun mode - but post-'going through hell and back' as one poster noted. So there's also some deep healing going on. Number one thing that made me feel comfortable enough to explore nun mode - was being 100% self-reliant. Sovereign in my choices. And that, for me, meant financially stable - and alone - even if it meant working at Starbucks, not pursing a 'career', and renting something small. As long as I had my own roof and bed, and foo…
