I highly recommend Beige Phillips. It's hosted by Dante Nero and that guy is a savage. It's weekly, about an hour and a half long and talks about red pill principles this guy has picked up from fucking thousands of women. Seriously it should be required text for the RP aware.

About the journaling, and combing through your memories, I can attest to it's effectiveness. When coping with things, i over analyze and stress about which option to take, and how to beat the adversity I'm experiencing. Im also very hard on myself, and beat myself up about what I should have done or could have done differently. Taking this jumbled mess of thoughts out of your head, and putting it on paper makes it real. You can now re read exactly what was going through your head at the time, an…

Oh man, I learned this the hard way too. I'm currently beyond such courses as im a junior but I did the same, and got screwed on an essay the prior semester that ultimately cost me the A. Shut my mouth, and agreed and stroked the guys ego, and what do you know, the next essay comes in where it should. Lots of ass kissing involved. Don't be a martyr fellas. Think how you like, but behave like others.

This. In my freshman Interpretation of Lit class that was required we read "The Things They Carried" by Tim O'Brien. One of the best books I've ever read. The reason this was an included novel was to hit on archetypes of "toxic masculinity", and machismo. This story is literally about a guy who gets drafted and forced into a bloody conflict. This guy is going off to war, and watching friends die, and you are saying it's toxic masculinity?Machismo for how he handled his passing brothers? This was…

I'd like to throw my two cents in, based off what I learned through my freshman and sophomore year, and my turning point that I hope you find sooner. The biggest thing you need to do now, is internalize a plan, and the steps you need to get there. I went in as a general chemistry major, searching for a more refined discipline later. This drastically affected my academic motivations because it didn't give me a vision of an end goal, as I was studying the broad subject. I struggled with finding th…

I've had this problem, and reading "Ego Is The Enemy" by Ryan Holiday really grounded me, and saved my mindset to be more aware of the signs that it is getting out of control. The book is broken into 3 parts. The rise to success, the mindset during success, and how to take failure when you unavoidably do come down from that high. It's rooted in stoic philosophy, and killing the driving force of ego, the need to prove something. I highly recommend you pick up this book. It sincerely changed my mi…

I have been reading TRP close to three years now and read every 100 point thread. Implementing it is the hard part, and coming fresh out of a really betafied LTR, and this being the first approach back out, naturally I'd slip. I really don't think she has any masculine men in her life, and surrounds herself with betas because "woo hoo I'm a liberal" and most hardcore liberal men are fags. I think I tapped into some primal Alpha cravings she's never had before considering she's 18. I like your id…

Nice username reference, may the Liquor RIP. Yes, it reads blue pill but that's the ultimate motivation. How else are you supposed to learn this shit if not in the field? Not giving a fuck, negging as usual, running the social table, and some pre-selection will go a long way. I'm just the type to figure shit out for myself. Out come independence is key. Can always find a stray to bring around to our parties too, but already have a date. We have a winter formal coming so I'll put the lines in the…

I'm at the library 4 nights a week, so I figured it was the only time to set up a meet up. Really trying to kill the studies this semester and wasn't going to forgo a book night. I ended up doing just that. This is going to come off as humble brag, but please bear with me here: I'm in a Chemistry fraternity and it's co-ed. Seriously this thing is chalk full of betas. I'm the only one even aware of game in it. All previous encounters I've just been participating in convo opening everyone. The par…

No I totally invited her to study. It was a shit show of a night man. Nothing was really accomplished notes wise when I have an Organic 2 exam on Thursday. She made it clear in her message she doesn't want anything intimate. I told her thanks for not wasting our time, see ya around. Now I guess my only option is to not change the group dynamic and reestablish the game I had. You can believe me or not, but I was on it, I just slipped. I'm a recovering beta. In the future though, studying with dat…

I was called out for this by another user, you are both correct. My game was tight the three other parties we were at together and I smashed the alpha image by taking her to the fucking library.. Yeah I cringe thinking about that now. That broke my frame pretty hard. I'm still learning man. I learned TRP about two years ago, had success, landed my first LTR got comfy, and went full beta. Recovered by smashing some shallow tinder hoes, and this was my first approach back at it. I thought after ru…

Yup, this is valid. I needed to study so that was the initial plan, but stayed and went full retard. This was my first isolation with her, and it should have not been at the Library. I rushed it, and got impatient.

Yup it is, but isn't the male hamster what brings these questions here? Until this thread i had no idea, and since she brought up her friends opinions in the actual novel she sent me about why it's a deal breaker, I assumed she hamstered that her friends would judge her. Yes they make exceptions, but I agree with Ramesses_, that I lost frame and got too friendly. I'm keeping the same group frame I have in the org that pulled her, because that's the only thing I can do here. Lost frame with her, …

This is a good point. I certainly didn't agree or bend to hers. I was the chad. I should have moved a mountain to find a sleeve to fuck her the night I was on the chad game, but didn't. Mistakes were made. I'll just keep the same persona I have going that I don't have to fake. Acting like something a girl did to get to you after your actions is worse than the initial slip.

Holy shit man, thanks for the detailed write up. After reading it, you are spot on. It was a mistake to stay that late but I really needed to study for my exam this week so I would have anyway. As for the opposing view, I didn't submit to agreeing with her. I told her exactly why I voted the way I did. You are right, I should not have gotten so personal. I was spitting solid game up until this point. She couldn't stop staring at me, and couldn't keep her hands off me. I got sucked in and thought…

I know man, the liberal shit really hit me by surprise. I even told her I voted for a blue candidate in the primaries and she still didn't buy it. I think there is still attraction in her, she just doesn't want to be a associated with me by fear of her friends ostricizing her from her friends group. Why else would she stay after that? Idk, I think the feels hit her in the morning and changed her mind. How would you proceed now since I still have to see her regularly. This is kind of a don't shit…

I deflected the political shit test. I followed the election, and took a class on American politics so I'm educated in the subject, she just simply didn't agree with it. My hunch is that she doesn't want to be seen with a guy with my opinions by members of her friends group. She even mentioned in the text that her friends don't support it. I don't think she wants to be cast from that tribe by associating it.

Man, this comment is what I needed. I am in the same boat as OP, acted alpha, then turned beta through the relationship and my ego went nuts when she left. I feel that desire to get another shot since I know how to act now. I feel that desire to reach out and explain these hits to my ego and what went wrong. I accept that i wont ever get her back, but i crave that redemption to rewrite all my wrongs. Thats ego. Your comment nailed exactly what's going through my head. I read "Ego is The Enemy" b…

Maybe try reading about stoicism. This school of thought is a good start. I'm currently reading The Obstacle is The Way, by Ryan Holiday and it really provides a lot of tennats that are at the core of how frame is taught here.

What's stopping you from attaining your dream life? Complacency has claimed many great men, it's the biggest sin most people make in life. Always be cultivating your goals, hobbies and aspirations, and always keep learning and growing.
/r/askTRP14/06/17 11:53 AM

You have to listen to Jordan Peterson. He's a physiologist, and speaks alot about post modernism and the power hierarchy. Definitly watch this one.
/r/askTRP13/06/17 02:13 PM

I agree. Being a man, we have control over how we project our emotions, and this is at the heart of the IDGAF attitude. I'm guilty of not following through with it, but I can also attest that it works. Having the aptitude to realize you feel this thing, but it's not beneficial to act on it is probably the biggest benefit to being a man. We as men are not slaves to the heat of the moment unless we CHOOSE to be.
/r/askTRP10/06/17 04:59 AM

I'm with this guy, I can't turn a blind eye. There are people out there who are born into worse situations, and who have less who still make it by. Comparing yourself to others is the easiest way to slip into a pit of despair. You can't control what advantages others may have or what cards you are dealt. Make the most of them! Find anything that makes YOU happy, and do it. Take up a hobby that gives you passion, and the drive to hone it. Find something to wake up for everyday, and I promise you …

Keep yourself busy so that instead of wasting your thoughts on pointless things you can't control, you put that energy towards your plan to be a better man. You are an interesting guy aren't you? You got hobbies, a job, studies maybe, it doesn't matter, just stay busy. Lifting is preached for a reason in that it's the most effective way to achieve baseline with your thoughts. You get to focus on picking heavy things up and putting them down, and that puts the rest of your life into perspective. …

I second this. This book gives you lots of general pointers that the subconscious mind acts on in a social environment that you don't even know is occurring, and teaches you how to apply it onto others. Great for just general social skills improvement.

I was lucky enough to stumble onto the manosphere in the summer prior to freshman year of college. I attribute a large portion of my growth to the past experiences and hardships of being plugged in during highschool. Learning from your mistakes, and taking preventative actions against future ones, is what is so great about being a man.

Sleep is crucial to your mental health and should be taken seriously. If it's your wandering mind, I find reading a book for an hour or so right before bed helps distract it enough to become drowsy. A 10 minute shot of meditation while in bed is enough to punch my ticket usually with that recipe. Sleep is also a cycle and going to bed at the same time and waking up at the same time helps. Take ZMA pills before sleep to stay asleep and melatonin, a natural sleep aid, 30 minutes before bed time, a…

Unplugging and moving your life twords success is a process. It doesn't happen over night, and can take years to truly change colors from Blue to red. I went through the same feeling as you. Part of it, is that you realize now how these social dynamics, character and demeanor values work, so you are more aware of where you went wrong, and thus adding more value to the lesson that is failue. Yes I finally understood the logistics rule after breaking a plate over this. Shit just got stale, and it hit me that we had nothing to talk about in person, because our conversations were fake, over text. I became really busy over the last few days and haven't hit her up, but still told her to meet me for lunch the last time we met. Logistics have already been set. The notion of sport and it's overall drive with men stems way back to ancient Greece and Homers story's of the Illiad. Sport, aside from true war combat, was a way to express ones "arete". Arete is Greek for excellence, meaning the greater one is in sport or combat, the greater they are as a man. Arete has been linked directly to ancient civilizations social status, mean that one way to move up in the ranks aside from wealth and postion, was there accomplishments, and there arete. Fascinating st…

Just throwing this out there OP. If you want to start an exclusive thing with this girl, do NOT make her cheat. If she cheats on her LTR with you, she'll cheat ON you later.

Plus one for the analogy. That's a good way to look at it. A man must be open to a relationship, after a period of time with this girl, and not charge in with the intention of girlfriending her. It muddies the water.

This makes tons of sense to me. You can devour all this literature the sub had to offer, but until you see it, you don't internalize it. Taking every opportunity is key, as if you don't fail, you never learn. I always say, you have to plough a 4, to appreciate an 8.

Thanks. I know I'll get there, but the conditioning is hard to break. Having no success for all my childhood, then bursting into the scene in college being able to pull my weight has left me dumbfounded. Dumbfounded in how spot on RP is, and that I've never done any of this before. Fake it till you make it works. But it's a masquerade I need to learn how to keep up on the long term, until the seeds in my hands take permanent root.

"Shell stop you when she uncomfortable" This. Push the boundaries. If she doesn't say anything or stop you, she likes it. Make out with her, and grab her ass while your at it. Kiss her neck. This has always been my silver bullet. If they tilt their jaw up, you know your in. Usually you can literally feel a shortness of breath from her getting turned on when you do it. I'm still on the path to confidence. Recovering beta, and I'm twice the man I was just 6 months ago. I'm young, only 19, so I have long prosperous road ahead, the hard part is traveling it. I know I'll get there. In highschool, I had zero success and was as beta as they came. Since college I've gotten on the board a few times, and landed a girl I wanted for my first Red ltr. This crashed. Abundance will solve the confidence game. Rushing in is the problem.

This is a great point of view. I never realized until reading this, but the anxiousness of rejection stems from those insecure parts of your frame. This is what is happening right now. I had a plate who went exclusive for awhile, but it ended rather suddenly. I'm still figuring out why. The question of "why" is the bitch in the room. The rejection, exposed my faults, and I couldn't live with that. The great part of being a man is that you understand how to reflect on your misfortunes and learn f…

Thousands of years of biology is also being disposed due to feminism. It's created no agency for women, so that they can get away with this shit. Empowerment is all about how you strive to be that Disney Princess, but you don't have to put in the work to get there, like a man would have to bust his ass up the ladder. Anger is a potent feeling. For me, it runs in cycles. I'll act the confident alpha me, then the perfect storm rolls in, and some blue tendencies return with my weak but still building frame. When those are promptly squashed and shoved down my throat, a new wave of anger insues. How you use this energy, is the true challenge. Thank you for that. I completly understand the mindset you just laied out. I think being able to analyze my thoughts before they take solid route, feeding the hamster, will keep my mind from wandering down the wrong path. This is most likely the case. I know everyone advises against LDR but this isn't a traditional one. Was introduced by my roommate's girlfriend so I'm in their hometown often. The Red Pill is meant to be discovered. A person's out look on society can't be forced, and the only way to understand this type of knowledge is if you are looking for answers. Don't be a missionary. Alot of people push the items you mentioned us not to push simply because they teach you a lesson. Your biggest issue is that you won't take accountability for your actions. You won't get what your after by simply wishing it and bitching about it The fundamental difference in society is that women are born with value, men are not. This is a good and bad thing.
