You deserve the world. When you look back, you won’t even remember these guys and how they made you feel. Invest your time into your friends, your career and your own personal development. That’s where true self esteem and happiness comes from ❤️

When someone treats you well, you should always thank them and be courteous. When someone treats you badly, you should tell them where they're going wrong and withdraw your attention. I think that's the right way to go about it in all areas of life.

I think a lot of people in general who have little side hustles like this would forget to declare the income they make from snapchat. Etsy shops, eBay stores, etc. Unless someone is making a massive income off these things, I think it should be fine just to let it slip. Annoying how people have a much different attitude to a girl with a private snapchat forgetting to declare her side steam of income vs someone with an Etsy store I think.

Points for honesty I guess

I mean.. I don’t know how much you know about the IRS but they are mainly tips based. That is how they manage to catch everyone out. You’d be astonished if you knew the amount of friends and family who tip off people they know out of spite. I have friends who work in government offices.. let me tell you, they never have to do much. When the phone is always ringing with new tips, there’s not much point bothering about random audits. They make random auditing out to be much more commonplace than i…

Yikes.. that’s really horrible.. shame on taking advantage of a system made for people who are genuinely in need. I’m glad it caught up to her. That being said though, not every sex worker is like that. As with all professions, some people do the right thing and some people do the wrong thing. I just don’t really think it is fair to see a sex worker and think ‘ah, yes.. she definitely must be gaming the system and not being honest about her earnings’.

This is a really good, in-depth comment. Just because something is a law, doesn’t mean it is always right. Yes, taxation fraud is bad as a whole but at the same time if some girl is failing to declare a couple of hundred dollars that she made from her private snapchat it isn’t the end of the world. There’s a difference between someone not declaring millions of dollars vs someone leaving out what they do on the side which only makes a little money. We should have some nuance about this, in my hum…

I mean.. fair enough I guess. I have heard about IRS checks causing trouble for some people (even when they have been done without any basis and when the IRS hasn’t found any wrongdoing in the end). That’s kind of why I have a problem with this. It also just seems a bit.. petty. Also, fun fact! Almost all IRS investigations are conducted on the basis of tip-offs from friends and family. You’re pretty likely to get away with income tax on a small/moderate scale so long as no one you know tips the…

If the person didn’t do anything wrong then government time and money would be unnecessarily wasted without any real basis for said investigation to be based on. If we are going to be fastidious about some random woman not declaring what likely amounts to only a couple of hundred dollars of income, we should probably consider the cost of wasted government time and money that could result from a tip-off with no real basis.

Well the implication is that this woman isn’t reporting the income that she makes from her private snapchat as income, which she should be doing. However, there isn’t really any evidence to suggest that she isn’t actually doing this so it just comes off as unnecessarily spiteful.

How do you know that she isn’t though? If she is, this was just unnecessarily spiteful.

Yeah, this is unnecessarily petty in my eyes. Sex work is still work. Whether you agree with it or not, they’re still selling a service. Sex work continues to exist because there will always be men who pay for private Snapchats and other forms of sex work. Can we really blame women for seeing an opportunity to make money and taking it? As well as this, you don’t know the circumstances of these girls. Who knows, they may be working three jobs to provide for their kids and they have to do this as …

But where is it suggested that this person doesn’t declare the income from this? I mean for all we know this person could actually be declaring the income they get from selling a private snapchat. It just seems unnecessarily spiteful. If there was some proof or indication that this person wasn’t declaring their income, fair enough because it is unfair to all those with side jobs who do declare all of their income. However, getting the IRS to audit someone without a basis is just.. pathetic and b…

Yeah but how is this okay or even funny? I mean.. this person could very well be declaring the money they make from this on the side. I mean I agree with you that people should declare their side hustles for tax purposes but this is pretty unjustified because there is no proof to suggest this person is doing the wrong thing.
