That was a really interesting point! Effort = success/power I don’t think it’s “white people” that work hard, I’m sure that there are many Arab people that work harder than me (a white dude). In fact, my old manager was Pakistani and he was one of the hardest workers I’ve ever met. I never really put too much thought into the definition of feminism. I am now leaning towards egalitarianism. Before this post, I viewed feminism as a spectrum. I think it was supposed to be about equality at first. There is no reason a woman with the same EXACT qualifications as a man, should get paid less. And feminists have succeeded! But something has changed. Now they say “I don’t want to pay sales tax on tampons” “I want free birth control” “I want more” “Tax the rich more” (I know this isn’t a politics subreddit but I appreciate the irony. She doesn’t want to pay taxes but wants everything for free because the rich men will pay for it)

That’s surprising. I’m a straight guy but I really only heard positive stereotypes about gay men (clean, polite, positive:..) whereas lesbians almost get lumped in with “male toxicity”. That’s just what I’ve heard and I could be wrong! Stereotyping is not a healthy way to view the world

I used to think that way too, and your logic is sound and you are not wrong to feel that way. You are certainly entitled to your own opinion and I will respect that. But I have a friend that came out as trans as an adult, she always felt she was a girl but never spoke up. Everything would have been a lot easier if she never went through puberty as a male. You can’t reverse the skeletal and vocal changes of puberty as an adult It’s a complicated situation, but some people know at a very young age…

I would be willing to lower the age to 15. Puberty changes the body and if someone was born with gender dysmorphia, they should have the chance to block/start hormone therapy before puberty. In my opinion, this is for extreme cases when the patient has undergone years of therapy and BOTH parents agree as well as the therapist and surgeon.
