Something that's worked for me in the past: I figure out a really pretty outdoor spot with a picnic table, and we go there in the daytime to drink mimosas and play Scrabble. Seriously. Bring a mimosa picnic and a Scrabble board. (Or Pictionary. Or any other geeky board game.)
