I'm not a marriage vow troll. Being a walk away and not doing the work isn't the best option. I'm entitled to my views as are you.

You can fix that. You’re closed off and not communicating which in of itself is very immature

If you did that to me and made vows to stay married I would be extremely upset. You’re basically not putting in work to a relationship you committed to. Poor.

I really enjoyed long walks and audiobooks. Podcasts. Learning about finance and budgeting. Reddit

Good for you. I just don’t think you should make your vows if they can be ditched on the basis of the “right call”. I think marriage is a commitment; not a lifestyle choice. Everyone’s different - you do you.

This! I am going through a divorce. I would do anything to change it. Do not do this to your family unless you have really done the work to show there are no more options.

OP I would tell your wife the whole truth and if you value your marriage vows at least put in some work

Yes. I do think a lot of folks will go through this relearning. If you have found any specific resources to help them (myself included) those specific resources would be very helpful. I found this bathroom cleaning video useful as I'd never done it before, but had to learn as my wife / stbxw disconnected. https://youtu.be/cP3f6_9_oh8?si=U0EMg9f6nGsrX_iL How about you?
