Belly fatNow that is a tricky one. You can feel it when your sugar is low. Usually you’ll feel hungry, cold, and alert. It’s simply your body trying to save energy and alarm you to move you towards food. If you are patient enough, your body will tap on your fat storage and you gradually restore mood balance and temperature, even hunger fades out. Don’t drag it over 20 hours or you might start burning muscle instead of fat. It’s up to you to decide how long is long enough. Learn the language of your body. | /r/askTRP | 02/10/18 08:16 PM

Belly fatTake enough calories. If you don’t eat enough, you’ll lose muscle mass. I eat between 1500 and 2000 calories daily and I do 2 hours sports. I need to lose fat, bulk, and maintain brain performance for my work. It’s a hell of an equation to balance. Just make sure to eat balanced and minimize sugar. Allow healthy fat in moderation, it is required to produce testosterone which is important to bulk. If you are not doing low carb, then include long chained carbs like potato and bread as they boost p… | /r/askTRP | 02/10/18 09:33 AM
Belly fatI don’t use PM and AM often. They are confusing to me. I meant 18:00 to 12:00. That’s 18 hours. I wouldn’t stretch it longer on daily basis, or your body might start breaking down your muscle mass as a source of energy. And as you pointed out, short periods of fasting wouldn’t be enough time for the body to deplete available sugar and carbs to tap into the fat reserves. | /r/askTRP | 02/10/18 09:17 AM
Belly fatSweet things are tricky to handle. If you cut them all out in one shot your brain will take revenge. You’ll find yourself binging sugary food almost unwillingly. Cut sugar gradually and provide your body with healthy alternatives like full fruits. Dry fruits are good in moderation. But if you have hard time controlling your reward system then take your time with normal fruits until you tame yourself to eat in moderation. If you relapse, start over. It’s normal to have a brain which craves safety… | /r/askTRP | 02/10/18 09:11 AM
Belly fatI’m bulking too. Make sure you eat sufficiently and balanced during those six hours. I sometimes drink a dose of whey shake if Sport time comes during fasting time which is against the rule but again, I don’t lift everyday because it’s counterproductive. In the days when you lift reduce fasting time to allow yourself to get your needs of protein. I try to synchronize training time to be two hours after my last meal so I get to sync protein absorption with the time when my muscles are craving pro… | /r/askTRP | 02/10/18 09:04 AM
Belly fatJust during fasting since it contains both calories and sugar. | /r/askTRP | 02/10/18 08:53 AM
Belly fatBelly fat is one of the indicators of insulin resistance. The best way to get rid of it is to keep your sugar levels low for a long periods of time. HIIT helps too but I found achieving the first on a regular basis to be far more effective. I recommend you to try intermittent fasting. I reduce my calorie intake to zero from 6pm to 12am. This way I would be fasting 18 hours per day, half of it asleep so it’s easy to ignore hunger and it helps sleeping deeper. On morning I drink black coffee or su… | /r/askTRP | 01/10/18 09:24 PM
