I can’t understand why guys like this don’t just pay a hooker instead of putting out time and energy pretending to care.

Absolutely true from my experience as well. These guys are overgrown toddlers.

I worked in Fairfield County for years and am very familiar with the culture. This type of behavior is not at all untypical. This guy is very rich, and truth be told it only took him a few weeks for another financial firm to snap him up. That kind of aggressive behavior is applauded in that culture. Remember, these are some of the richest people in the country. A lot of them didn’t get this way by being nice. they got that rich by having the capability to literally do ANYTHING to get what they w…

I had the exact same experience. I got divorced at 32 and had that exact same line going across the top of my nose in between my eyes. I would call it the disapproval line. I’m 48 and that shit has been gone for years.

I find that they’re not at all selective and will enter a “relationship “ with just about any available woman. I was always a convenience, they needed a girlfriend and I happened to be available so I’ll “do “

I was out to lunch with the Male attorney friend of mine one day. I was telling him about all the horrible online dating experiences I’ve been having and the conduct of the men on these websites. He looked at me and he said “friends”. I said “what?” He said “friends, that show friends? It ruined an entire generation of men.” You know he could very well be right

I was where you are years ago. My ex wouldn’t pay a penny for his daughter. So I just took him to court and kept suing him over and over again and winning. Eventually they just attached his paycheck. It’s surprisingly easy to sue an ex without a lawyer.

I’m super independent and successful. I’m 48 years old and have only attracted gold diggers and hobosexuals. My daughter is 19 and I warned her and her friends about the danger of being perceived as an independent woman and to keep it as under wraps as they possibly can.

Was with a guy for almost 3 years. He gave me a 2 carat diamond ring and a proposal 18 months into the relationship. When I finally had enough of his crap I asked him if he knew where I went to college, what my major was, what I did for 15 years in the corporate world. He just stared at me like a deer in the headlight. What does that tell you?

I agree. I would say the number is closer to 75% of the single male population. No one can tell me I attract only the disordered. Also we have to remember that the single men are the ones women ran from. That is an absolute I don’t care what anybody says.

Before I discovered this sub I thought it was me. I believed I was attracting all these horrible men. I used to say “how can all men be this way? These numbers don’t exist in nature” but the scary reality is that it’s not me. I’m 48 years old. It seems like it’s just gotten worse. I Compare it to a zombie apocalypse

I raised my kid on my own after divorcing an intolerable man who didn't love her and saw her as a pawn to trap me. Warning: Society will S**t all over you. Single moms are seen as losers. I had to leave a successful career to raise my child on $20 a day and a prayer. It was traumatizing at best. Very few men what to support a broke dude's kid, and no one could figure out why I didn't just become the CEO of a fortune 500 company or land a rich guy to take care of us. What you say is absolutely true. All I have found in the past 15 years of dating are men looking for free or low-cost prostitutes. As a matter of fact lots of these guys see relationships as free sex because their time is cheap. That’s why I don’t date anymore.

It happened to me. As soon as my ex husband realized the gravy train ran out he ditched his kid and I raised her on my own with NO HELP from him. I had to sue him 4 times for being in contempt for not upholding his court ordered child support obligations. Good thing I’m smart and educated and was able to represent myself in court otherwise It wouldn’t have been worth paying a lawyer just to get a measly 5k a year in child support

All of my exes expected a party, a parade, luxury foreign cars, unlimited sex, gifts, and more just for bringing in the mail. Needless to say I stopped asking them for anything and got rid of all of them.

I have heard this story before. I was dating an electrician who told me this: he was working at a home and a husband cornered him alone in a room and told him how he hated his children. That he loved life before his children were born and now it’s all about the kids. He can’t watch football, he can’t go hunting, he can’t do whatever he wants any more because of the kids. I found that story extremely disturbing.

I’m nearing 50 and I’ve been single since I was 32. I can tell you this: most of these men end up alone. They might think they have a chance with younger women but almost all of them die alone. The women they use and abuse very rarely stay. They also get worse with age and women get wiser with age so these guys really have everything working against them. Hot young narcissists have a chance but once they get old nobody wants them. Believe me I see it all the time.
