Keep a 6 who's loyal and treats me well or go out and find a more attractive woman? That's true. Honestly it's the guilt. She's a good person and my empathy is really fucking with me. | /r/askTRP | 17/06/16 06:47 PM
Keep a 6 who's loyal and treats me well or go out and find a more attractive woman? You're definitely right. I've tried to carry that mentality that she's an adult and can make her own decisions. Every once in a while she'll cry and get upset about it though. She was sobbing saying she doesn't want to be an open relationship anymore and it's hard to know what to say when she's doing that. | /r/askTRP | 17/06/16 06:47 PM
Am I fucked career-wise?Like I said to /u/BloodyPhallus, it's not that I'm not passionate about it, but during my student teaching I've found that the American education system in many districts bogs your passion and creativity down by implementing procedures and curriculum practices that are counter-intuitive to teaching. I'm still passionate about it, but all I've seen is teachers who have just let themselves go and lead these monotonous, blurry lives because they're so helpless to change things up in their classroom… | /r/TheRedPill | 19/10/14 07:56 PM
Am I fucked career-wise?Interesting, I was not aware of that. I'll have to look into my options there with just a minor in soc. edit: ah gotcha. Well I only minored but perhaps the history major would help. Was it hard finding a job as a lawyer? Is it worth it so far? (in terms of the extra schooling/money you went through) | /r/TheRedPill | 19/10/14 07:45 PM
Am I fucked career-wise?That's what I'm starting to see. The bureaucracy and the lack of autonomy seems to be rising and I'm well aware of the under-appreciation. That's what brings me here. Just not sure how to continue now that I've seen how the passion to inspire and teach is bogged down by complete bullshit everyday. It's all counter-intuitive. | /r/TheRedPill | 19/10/14 07:39 PM
Am I fucked career-wise?I've heard good things about using a history degree and some computer skills or technical degree to get into data mining which I think could be interesting. Again though, it's more school unless I find a way to learn in my free time and land something without the actual degree | /r/TheRedPill | 19/10/14 07:25 PM
Am I fucked career-wise?I'm just truly trying to be my best self and I feel as though I need to be pragmatic as well. There are careers out there that provide more value to the world, and there are ones that provide less. I feel as though American education systems do not value teachers as highly as they should and therefore I feel as though my career choice may not have been the best. Like I said I do have a passion for it, and that should be enough, but it's not right now for me. Perhaps this will change once I find … | /r/TheRedPill | 19/10/14 07:24 PM
Am I fucked career-wise?I'm hoping there's some way to just use my history/sociology degree for something else besides teaching if I do in fact choose a different path. Getting into more debt just sounds dangerous long-term to me even with the possibility of grants | /r/TheRedPill | 19/10/14 07:14 PM
