That shouldn't matter, it's all about how you carry yourself. I'm sure there are a plethora of people in your position, and it's all about your body language. If you give off the persona that you feel like an idiot, people will take that at face value and go with it.

No, I don't think so. Again, the first instances was him eating a ball and then snapping at me when I told him to drop it. The second instances was him chewing on his leash outside and snapping at me, almost the 24 hours later. Even yesterday, when he had a peanut butter bone, I just picked up crumbs and was going to feed it to him, and he believed I was going to take it away and he snapped again. He's a 6 month hound / Rottweiler, so I didn't think it would be a problem. His resource guarding b…

Yeah, it was more of a toy aggression than food. He was eating a ball, and when I said no and tried to grab it, he snapped and attacked. He constantly goes for my hands and face even if I try to give him a toy. He'll go on the toy for about 10 seconds before he decides to bite at my hands when sitting next to him. The shelter didn't provide any background on him other than the previous owners not having enough time. I think I'm a bit over my head.
