hahaha....eventually you just have to realize that we're all carrying different brains and some people want to fight a battle that you thought was a communication around discourse. And they're not losing that battle. It's very important to them, because they spoke it into existence. This was a fun read though, thanks guise

After frequenting several sex/ dating subs, turns out 'attracted to x' and 'want to have sex with x' are interchangeable (at least on reddit)

You also have to have self-awareness. I had chicks throwing themselves at me in by 2000's band and I was usually oblivious or too nervous to engage because of my lack of social self esteem. I hate how I always used to be an idiot.

I have to go with the data here, and unless I am misinterpreting it, figure 1 - E1 in this studies supplemental material shows that half of men age 44 and under had one sexual partner in the study period, where 3/4 of women had one sexual partner. The study also reports that men under 33, and especially under 24, experienced the inverse. Women have sex more frequently with more partners than men, with over a third of men under 24 having no sex. So it looks like this proposal might apply, but onl…

It's wanting, I don't know why I do these annoyingly pretentious half-truth sad jokes. I'm massively generalizing for effect... or to perhaps make my opinion more digestible without self awareness

Because women know that saying this can ALSO be used against them. Women are mostly more socially astute animals.

What I'm trying to say is:. I don't understand how you arrive at these conclusions. What you present as an explanation isn't logically comprehensible. There are fallacies in what you're saying... So I'm not arriving at your conclusions necessarily. Which means detached from the emotion that you've assigned it, your perception or assessment won't necessarily make sense to another person (like me). Connecting with another person and getting them to understand and agree with the reality you are exp…

We would then be eliminating a large chunk of the available dating pool. To each her own, I guess. But I think the argument against video games is that society has deemed them childish and unpopular among adults... Which is discredited by this statistic that gaming is one of the most popular hobbies amongst people ages 16 to 65. So you'd have to do some pretty trippy logical hopscotch to arrive at the conclusion that this needs to be on the list OP presented.

I predict that this is going to be one of those comment exchanges that do nothing for either of us. You said, "Humility and empathy have nothing to do with level of sexiness." I'm interpreting that as 'one can be humble and empathetic with or without being appealing (or the inverse).' Is that what you mean? Because you reply with, "Nobody wants a man less than loving and empathetic." Do you mean 'a man who isn't loving/ empathetic isn't desireable, aka sexy?' Because those two reponses are the o…

Are you talking about people in relationships? OP is talking about casual sex. How will getting better at fucking make you get more sex in casual situations? Are you implying that word of your sexual abilities will get around and the local casual sex crowd will flock to you? Or am I missing something?

I'm asking why it's rude. Isn't that the point of casual sex with someone you just met an hour or two earlier? No emotions/ expectations/ responsibilities?

If you carefully work backwards through the indentations of the replies here, you'll see that your comments aren't addressing who they're replying to. Or you've created enemies by assuming things that weren't implied in order to defend/ fight/ call them out. Or you actually think that these folks are talking about having a nice spaghetti dinner. The most religious folks in our country are also the most politically exploited, resulting in a lack of progress that affects everyone and pisses off the non-religious.

I think a lot of guys fit that description...but they're not 'bad boys' and they're not dating as 'bad boys.' There's more to it--the bad boy must have traits that allow female strangers to identify him as such (hence the toxic traits).

We haven't discussed levels of ugly yet, but one gal's $1.50 is another gal's $10k. And some people hold onto their beater because they think it's a Beamer...and end up with rusted junk out front.

You're going to have a hard time finding advice that isn't 'improve the product you're selling'. That isn't red pill..not until you tread into neofeminism-tainted sexual marketplace territory. The answer to 'how do you better sell someone a product' is to improve their perception of the product or create urgency. Under 40/ outside of intoxication or mental illness...you're going to have a tough time creating urgency.

Most women like confident men. To dumb women, confident means the loudest, most stubborn one with complete disregard for anyone besides himself or someone in his pack. To intelligent women, confidence still matters. I wouldn't worry about the dumb women (unless you are only trying to get laid and don't care about consequences). Women tend to live via social cues dudes can easily miss. Walk tall and lead with your chest--like you're headed somewhere important and you're important because of it. S…

u/XOTillI0verdose, looks like you need a revision. Here you go: If a woman decides to have kids, she's got at least an 85% chance to have them. If a man decides to compete, he has a decent chance of failing.

A related/ semi-counter argument is that areas with high reliance on economic safety have this reliance because of poor socio-economic conditions (job availability/ property acces/ etc). If a woman in this area gets pregnant, she is more likely to carry the child to term, and the man who impregnated her is going to feel less capable of caring for the familly unit/ child because of the surrounding conditions. Women are going to be more likely to sleep with a 'risky male' (i.e. doesn't own much pr…

What's gross about it? The comparison to an inanimate object or the dismission of humanity? "We've gotta assume that the person wants human connection beyond just an orgasm." sounds like an argument from fallacy. We don't have to assume such a thing.

Maybe try this one: the one-time drinking buddy. It turns me off to think about a potential partner who: --likes to drink at least weekly, if not every few days --goes to bars/ uses online drinking app to find a stranger to get drunk with --the strangers are vetted by how fun they look and whether or not they're clearly nuts via messaging/ at first sight --if the stranger seems ok after a few minutes/hours, potential partner elects to get drunk with them...hopefully everything goes well --has on…

On an individual level, people are a spectrum. Not everyone works 60 hours or gyms 4 hours a day. You've got a few false dichotomies going on there.

Women who are standouts are those with tangible hobbies. The self-nurturing and growth that comes from hobbies + work often bleeds into the way they treat themselves in relationships.

Definitely strange. Another anecdote: I hadn't been in a relationship for a few years, started going steady with a new chick I was really into. My last LTR ex messaged me on Facebook that week asking for computer help (no contact for 2 years up to that point). They know.
