No joke? I hadn't done any serious research on that, but it's on my short list. HVAC, elevator or renewable energy technicians are likely the most recession and future proof without getting dirty as fuck. Is that what you do?

What band is that from? To answer your question: Free Bird obviously.

Men need to feel needed. Holy shit, that might be why I'm incredibly numb right now. I went from being the in charge of everything guy for years, to just another machine on the line at my current job. I don't have that feeling anymore.

'My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!' Only the greatest of the greats won't be swallowed by the sands of time. The rest: "All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain." Live your life on your own terms, die on your own terms, it won't matter in the end.

Another reason could be capitalism at work and the concept of "individuality". (e.g. what type of tattoo defines me as a person?) Ironic since most of them get the same damn tattoo.

My best moment was snowboarding a long time ago. One cold night, me alone going down the slopes. Nothing but the wind and the board to keep me focused. I think I've been chasing that Zen since.

Depends on you. Can you afford either, all costs plus maintenance and repairs? Do you care if you have a garage or not? Do you care that your neighbors are a wall away? Do you want to pretend to be interested in your neighbors? Do you want to cut the grass every week, or pay somebody every week, or just have it done by the condo association? Neither answer is the wrong answer, it just depends on you. Best wishes.

Agreed. This family of subreddits has been an echo chamber of bullshit, reposts, spam and political garble for a long time now, going back to the 2016 election. The crusty old fuckers in power aren't doing anything for us, just getting richer while we get older and pick up the tax bill.

Shush now. Don't let scientific facts, rational logical thinking, and the collective knowledge of medical experts the world over get in the way of an 'anti-big brother/powers that be' circlejerk. I'm glad I found this subreddit, I am. It's a brotherhood I needed, and still come back to, but too many here are Kool aid drinkers, same as the hard left, just with a different flavor. To mirror what the others are saying: focus on yourself. Hit the gym, track your progress, and improve. Noob gains are real, so are injuries and setbacks, so be careful and take the punches in stride. Read a book, any book. Find a genre you like and go with it. Get out and go for a walk, or better yet a hike. Go find a new restaurant and enjoy the food. Do everything for yourself. If you're feeling self-conscious about doing those things by yourself, don't. Nobody at a restaurant gives a shit. N…

Mgtow and childfree are two separate end goals that may or may not overlap. It's entirely up to the person in question. I was staunchly childfree long before I ever thought about anything resembling Mgtow. I'm 34 now, fwiw.

Without knowing your job, you should find something that is mentally and physically stimulating. Mentally stimulating can be as simple as reading a book, listening to an audiobook/podcast or playing a game. Physically stimulating is even light exercise like a walk in the park every other day. Combine the two and listen to podcasts or audiobooks while walking. Bodyweight exercises are doable at home for next to nothing in investment (basically a yoga mat and a set of resistance bands), or a basic…

/r/MGTOW17/02/20 06:12 AM

I've heard the term "truck sluts" in relation to the girls that go for guys with unnecessarily oversized diesel trucks. I get a kick out of that whole sub-culture of car/truck guys. Full disclosure: I would gladly drive a Colorado or Tacoma if I had the income to afford it.

Stay home, improve yourself before you change your living conditions. Start saving money, like yesterday. Invest into a basic IRA/Roth IRA to set up a nest egg. $10/week compounded is a lot of money in 30 years. Pay off your car, then start saving the same amount monthly for your next car or car repairs, that basically ends up being the same amount per month. It costs a lot more than you realize to live by yourself. Good luck.

Growing up somebody, usually an older woman, would say I'd be a great husband someday. At the time, I'd take it as a compliment, "hell yeah I'll be an awesome husband!", but now, I know it's all bullshit. Thank God I'm the loser I am and that nobody really took much interest in me.

That retcon is stupid. I don't know what they're planning with that nonsense, or how they're going to turn it into the extreme cloak and dagger section 31 that DS9 and Enterprise showed us.

Officially Discovery takes place in the prime timeline, which is not the Kelvin/JJ Abram's movies. The visual and technological differences were frankly needed. Tos is 50 years old and, yeah. It's old. IMO the Enterprise looked amazing in season 2, and I want a Pike series so bad. Burnham can fuck right off into a quantum singularity and stay there though.

I lived in my car for a month. Unless you're particularly short, or have a larger car/SUV that you can stretch out in, it fucking sucks. Even sleeping in my car on road trips is rough for me. I can't imagine doing it long term without going full van dwellers on it.

It costs money to put you in the ground. Not enough people have 10k sitting around to cover that. I have a policy so my dad can get some money towards retirement if I kick it before anybody else.
/r/MGTOW26/07/19 11:19 AM
2

I'm going to disagree. A cock is just a prerequisite to being a man. Act like a responsible adult, deal with your shit, follow through on your obligations and promises as long as is reasonable, then you're a man. Act like a little bitch, or a woman, then you're getting called a little bitch.
/r/MGTOW24/07/19 02:42 AM

And some, the boss keeps the tips. I'm done with restaurant work after my current place, hopefully I'll never encounter that kind of boss. Places where the waitress gets all the tips can't keep good kitchen staff, it's the food that brings tipping customers in. That's one thing I think mine should do. If only couple percent per server.
/r/MGTOW21/07/19 04:35 PM
6

If your state, or more likely the payroll system your restaurant used, based your taxes on an assumption then that's a really fucking stupid system. And taxes are not hard to figure out. If your paycheck tax deductions isn't ~20% in total taxes coming out, then you're going to owe come April. 20% is very dependant on location and local tax rates. I work in a restaurant, I'm pretty damn good at figuring out a tax rate and what a check is going to be for any of my workers.
/r/MGTOW21/07/19 04:27 PM
8

How the tips get paid out is 100% dependant on the restaurant. Some it's a pool, some it goes to the server directly, some it's split in some way.
/r/MGTOW21/07/19 04:16 PM
9

I'll second this. A decent weight lifting program will help all around posture. The biggest hurdle will be forward head posture, that takes some effort. /r/posture for more help if anybody needs it.

Ah! I can't believe I said Minbar and not Centauri Prime. I'll chalk it up to a brain fart. I'd totally party with G'Kar and Londo if I had the chance. Those guys knew how to make life interesting. The rest of them, probably not. Never really saw much of the average Centauri or Narn citizen outside of the angry and entitled types. I'd be fine with hanging out with some Minbari worker caste, those guys seem pretty down to Minbar. The religious and warriors can piss off, too high and mighty for me…

Tl;Dr Mediocre looking German doctor gets attached to hot Hungarian art student. This thot is just using him for money, mostly, while banging some young Val Kilmer lookalike on the side. German doc is playing bank man and paying off thots school loans. German realizes this and decides to use his Trump card: remove himself from the school loans, put them all in her name, and bounce to Germany to do his thing. Successfully accomplishes this and leaves Hungarian Thotty holding her debt while ghosti…

Find some girl that's never used makeup, clothes, or anything to accentuate their looks. And I don't mean some burned up slag in her 30s. I mean some girl in her teens and twenties that never exploited it for gain. I know one, early twenties, plain clothes, never seen her dye her hair, never wears make up causally, very plain Jane, and very cute. I get along with her very well. She's a lesbian.

Just stating a fact here: the last MCU movie that grossed less than $500 million was Captain America 1. The Mouse is doing quite well with their investments. Even the Star Wars purchase has paid out, just not as much as they hoped I'm sure. Even if Captain Marvel bombs, and let's be honest, it won't, Disney is still doing fine. Now if the coming phase of MCU movies goes too far into SJW and goofy land a la Last Jedi, the numbers start going down and people vote with their money, then their might…

I say go in a slightly different direction. All kids are reversibly sterilized at 12. To be un-sterilized after they turn 19, both parties need to provide proof of fiscal responsibility to raise a kid. That's it. No more teen pregnancy, no more baby trapping for a husband or a paycheck, significantly decreased quantities of child support, and almost no need for abortion. And I'll feel like shit if I don't get back soon enough, then it's just a negative cycle of feeling like shit and not going to the gym. Take your time getting back into it, you'll get there soon enough bro.

Honestly, had I not found TRP and MGTOW, I would probably be all kinds of depressed and suicidal. Now I just try to take the negative emotions and channel them into something positive, or at least accomplish something for myself. Thankfully, the negative feelings are few and far between anymore. My advice to any guy who reads this and feels distraught from the reality that we're in: exercise. Run, lift weights, fuck try yoga, do something physical. Don't just sit there staring at your phone/TV/m…

Plated/dated this married chick for 2.5 years. One night she planned on coming over, but was having issues because husband's dad was in the hospital, and husband might need to be picked up. Wasn't super serious, but still enough for anybody to be worried. She came over and her husband got a ride somehow. She didn't give a fuck about her father-in-law, and didn't care enough about her husband to be with him. I can only imagine how she would have reacted when I found out somebody close to me was d…

No way would I risk the child support ruining me. I figure an abortion is $1000, so is a one way ticket. She can decide the outcome (she also wouldn't know my plan b). Thankfully I'm not in a position to worry about it. And if money were less of an issue, with a higher risk, I'd just get a vasectomy. No money, no game, no women problems.

It's more nuanced than that. TRP generally preaches to never get married, and have kids if and only if you really want to be a dad. MGTOW is kind of what you make it. Being a survivalist living in a cabin in the woods? If you want. Working a job to just provide for yourself and live comfortably? Possibility. IMO, it's just doing what you want with your life, without taking into consideration the opinions of others in society as a whole, primarily the opinions of women.

Your best bet if a girl say "I'm busy" is forget about her. If she is interested she will try to reschedule. I have no game and this would be my reaction. If the chick isn't receptive just move on. If she comes around later on, have your fun. If not, fuck it, find something else to focus your time and energy on. We only have so much of both at our disposal, use them wisely.

As a 28 year old with nothing to show for the last ten years of my life, all of this is so true. Focus on the big picture, plan for tomorrow, save and invest, take care of yourself. You'll have a better future. Your present might not be an amazing party today, but you'll be better off tomorrow. Don't ignore today though. Just be aware of what can come and plan for it.

I wouldn't quite say derelict, but passive. Mom and dad's relationship is a bit hard to describe, but generally he's passive to most things. To be fair to him, my mother is unreasonable in most regards, so I can understand his actions. He'll have moments of being the dominant one in the relationship, most of the time it's a 'talk and agree' scenario, not so much Captain-First Officer as is well received here. Man, there's a lot to their relationship that I'm thinking about right now. I won't was…

This right here is the cultural indoctrination. That's how my mother raised me. Dad was around, but didn't do too much to raise me to be a man. Mom made sure I would be a "good husband", knowing how to clean, do laundry and cook. She just taught me to be a fucking doormat and a permanent bachelor. Not a contribution, but an Idle rant that popped into my head.

This was posted in the childfree sub, the women there are a different breed. Most are firmly against having kids period, the remainder don't want them "now", but someday. They are universally appalled at shit moves like this, from both genders.

I'm not saying this to be mean, but you are sheltered. People always cheat. I've been the other guy way too many times, in relation to my count. Just the way it is. How you respond to it, on either end, is up to you. My dad has multiple times I do know about. It's his problem if he gets called out. -sheltered recovering beta chump

Not the first time an incel went postal. When I first saw Rogers video last week, I immediately thought of this shooting. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_Collier_Township_shooting The guy was incel, had mental issues, and was kinda creepy. Being a beta incel is not the whole issue. Being mentally ill is the main problem.

Saying you're sorry is usually an outright lie. Not only does it make you appear weak, you also lose precious credibility. Saying I'm sorry does make you look weak. I had "upset" some girl I worked with the other day, and she pointed it out to me the next day. I froze, almost said I'm sorry, but just said ok. There wasn't anything to be sorry about, and saying so wouldn't have accomplished anything positive. She had wanted to do something that I didn't want done (I'm the manager), and gave her a…

I was thinking about this the other day and I realized, A: that I'm not really sorry, B: it's a bullshit saying, and C: whomever I'm taking to probably doesn't give a shit. It's almost like "I'm sorry" is the beta/blue pill creed. On the professional side, I didn't do some end of month numbers that got sent out. As soon as I realized I fucked up, I did the numbers and had them ready to go, then called my boss. First thing out of my mouth after the formalities was "Hey, I fucked up, I didn't do b…

I don't think I've actually met a childfree woman. Just ones that never had kids. I'm unable to draw comparisons. But I'm currently living in a small town so I'm not expecting to ever meet one.

I have very limited time, and I really don't have much free time to cook + eat a proper meal. I'm also fucking broke, so that compounds the problem of a proper diet for me. BUT, what I've been in the habit of doing is I'll cook tomorrow's lunch/dinner today, while I eat what I prepared yesterday, tossed in some tupperware and microwaved. Not ideal, and gets very bland, but it works. EX: I'll make rice, veggies and chicken, enough for 4 meals at a time. Steam the veggies (usually broccoli/caulifl…

Gym, eat better, be on the computer less. Hit on the chicks that were interested in me. Get into a fight, once. Just to know what it's like. Also, play the winning lottery number on my 18th birthday. Cash it in after graduation, set aside a nice safe plush fund, play the market accordingly, live like a king for the rest of my life. Fuck everybody else.
