Calling skinny women 12 year old boys isn't shaming?

skinny women looking like 12 year old boys No need to body shame other women to feel better. Some women naturally aren't very curvy. That doesn't make them less womanly.

So that’s expected but the “tons of guys” you “heard” about. That doesn’t set what men as a whole expect. Explain how in a country where 60% of people are overweight, model-like bodies are “expected”. Fawning over something is different than having something “expected”. Yeah, I have no idea why people body shame thin women without curves when they are a healthy weight. It's not always such an easy thing to accomplish and maintain in the US. But that's what you see all the time anyway. You still …

I doubt it. Feels like a lot of people expect you not to just be skinny, but to be curvy in the right places as well.

Lol. As if that's the only standard. Even if a woman is skinny, she can still be made fun of for being flat. Women nowadays are expected to have big butts, and at least medium sized boobs. We're also expected to wear makeup, have long nice hair (and it can be pricey to maintain that). And so on. While men might also have certain beauty standards, women seem to expect those things less from a guy.

I agree. Honestly, what's wrong with wanting to wait? And how's it not understandable that some women want to wait, when we're constantly told that there's no reason to buy the cow when you can get the milk for free (as if there's no benefits to dating a woman take for example how married men are happier than single ones)? Some still view sex as meaningful and would rather know the guy better than to sleep with him and risk getting dumped afterwards. Also the younger generation is actually consi…

I never said that there's not situations where men wouldn't be judged or have to be mindful of clothing, but I don't think that there's usually as harsh of a judgement as towards women. People assuming we're DTF and harassing us based on clothing or worse, people making snap judgements about our morals if we like to dress a certain way and objectifying us as if we're not human, and I'm sure that a small breasted woman who doesn't cover up her nipples would face judgement or consequences at work …

Women say they are sometimes shamed for dressing too slutty, but really let’s just keep this in perspective. Take an example of where a woman was shamed for showing too much cleavage or leg in a professional setting and ask yourself if a man could get away with showing the same skin in the same setting. The answer is usually no. That'd only be in a professional setting. Being punished for it in other settings is still a bad and unfair thing. As far as I know it's far more socially acceptable for…

But men are generally fine with the basics: "stay attractive, fuck me, feed me, and clean the place" but most women are not even willing to do that. Women are not willing to hold their end of their bargain, so men have to leave or deal with a nightmare. Right, these are the expectations OP talked about. Women are expected not just to look good, which can take quite some time out of your day. But also to take care of kids and the house, as well as cooking outside of working full-time. Is it odd t…

Just because the mother chooses to have a kid doesn't mean the kid deserves to grow up without any financial support. However I don't think the rest of society should have to pay for that. Another thing is that women already face a lot of responsibility when it comes to preventing pregnancy. Many start birth control from an early age (typical use is only 91% effective per year, abortions are still very common despite the introduction of birth control), gynecological appointments, are more vulner…

I disagree, you're punishing the kid which you helped create. Why should others (taxpayers) have to pay because you had (possibly unprotected) sex and then decided to abandon the kid(s)? I think it's just gonna put even more of the birth control burden on women, because men would be able to opt out and don't have to care about the risks of sex. I think many kids already suffer enough from not having a father figure, and I think something like this would just encourage walking away from unplanned…

I mean, a lot of people wouldn't like to be tied down when they're young. A lot of guys and girls just want to have fun while they're young, it's just generally easier for women to do so. Women are more than just our sexuality. There's clear benefits that a short term partner doesn't get. For example, it's a sacrifice of our health to have children with a partner. There's a very common social expectation on us (when it comes to serious relationships), for us to be caring and to take responsibili…

Men might lose their money in a marriage but so can women. Having kids can affect your career and is harsh on your body, as well as it costing time because women often have to take care of kids on top of doing housework and working

Sharing your preferences in a hookup implies you're into casual sex and that can mean slutshaming for women who are honest about these things. Also just take a look on the internet, women who say they prefer taller men are bashed all the time

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
