I have noticed how fat women are getting by my air travel. Flight attendants used to be in shape. Now they all look like Ms.Swan from MADtv. If you have 6 flight attendants that are 50 pounds overweight that is 300 extra pounds that is flying around. Do you know how much extra fuel that is over the lifetime of that aircraft? An extra 300 pounds is about $30-$40 an hour in jet fuel. That adds up over thousands of flights. Keep them thin, increase profits.

I agree. Aviation is a tough life, and it takes a tough birdie to make it. Not many women make it up in Northern Canada earning their dues working a ramp till they get a chance to fly in the right seat. I only know a handful of women flying.
