It may still be profitable, but positive profit isnt the only decision factor. You have to think of the opportunity cost lost as well. Yeah you could make money off of selling darker makeup. But could you make more money using the same shelf space to offer more product for the larger demographic?

No, no, not at all. With potential demographics as low as about 6% of the market cap it makes it very unprofitable. Not only are you taking up shelf space that could hold more product for the other 80% of the market, which would make more money, you also have the added cost of manufacturing it in small qty which increases the cost. So this begs the question (and I'm here for the pure argumentative exercise) up until 18, or if you are legally emancipated, you can't make decisions about your body in some aspects? A tattoo required parental approval up to 18 in the USA I believe. So what if you are 16 in the lockeroom, getting busted on for your dick being uncut, but your parents wont let you get snipped, even as a "man". How much more psychological harm could that do? These studies poll from men who had this done later in life, which would then not present as an argument for having/not having it done while an infant. Also, it isn't clear from the sample groups whether the procedure was done elective or not later in life. It could be that the foreskin caused complications for some of these men, and that is why they had to get the procedure later in life. Children don't have the choice to be vaccinated. The parents decide that for them. Vaccines alter the body. But I don't see that being attacked with the same veracity. In fact, when the vaccine/not vaccine argument comes up, its mostly the parents arguing what is best for their children, and not what the children themselves want.

I wish my tonsils were removed when I was a kid. Now I have to routinely poke around at them to get my tonsil stones out so that I don't offend people with my halitosis. Which is fucking gross and embarrassing for me, and messes with my self confidence.

I don't understand this argument. The internal experience isn't defined by the number of receptors. Its self experiencing. I can have the same amount of of spiciness receptors on my tongue as someone else, but we may have wildly different tolerances and enjoyment of spicy food.

"Cutting off the foreskins eliminates X characteristic. The effect/function of X characteristic is not fully understood and needs further study" So how is that an argument against the procedure being done, if there is no evidence that what you are removing affects anything?
