71	Understanding Blame-Shifting as a Form of Verbal Abuse My ex used to turn ANY sort of problem I had about his actions back on me. I would call him out in the moment and he would bring up my behavior from months ago. I finally told him NO ok listen - either you bring up the problem you have with me in the moment, or shortly afterwards. It's that or you don't bring it up at all because that's what I do and it's not fair to me to avoid the blame and turn it back on me when I have a real problem.
