Sometimes they just want money. Lol. I had a big crush on a girl I worked with but she gave me the just a friend response. ok, so we pals, cool. Sometime later she asked to borrow 75 dollars for a birthday gift for her dad. I said yes but she never paid me back. Not pals now. A couple months later we don't work together anymore but she calls me asking to borrow 300. I tell her no, and suddenly she's offering me blowjobs and sex for the money. Jesus. I had a crush on THAT?

When I used to online date, I would craft a bespoke opening message for each girl, mention several things from her profile. I actually did pretty well for response rates - about 10 to 15 percent would actually say something back. In the years since, OKC has totally changed their algorithms and it's dogshit now. It determines how "attractive" each user, giving them an invisible rating, and then they only show you profiles of people within your 'attractiveness' range - hiding the vast majority of …

i'd maybe be interested in the 18-year-old daughter, but not the mom, at all. unless it was an oyakodon deal i guess.

I mean it's a fact of life that most people become more unattractive as they age. That's one reason why it's so important to find a good lifetime partner young, so you can bone and have kids before y'all turn ugly and old. If you're 35 but have been together for 17 years it's not as important to be hot like it is if you're 35 and looking for a date.

It is good advice though. And it was told in an effective and persuasive way. Yes you could say it in fewer words but I'm not sure it would be more convincing.

i can't tell if you mean 'run the gauntlet' ie to go through a difficult experience to reach a goal or to 'run the gamut' as in experience the complete range of something, but 'run the gambit' is not a phrase and you probably mean one of other two.

I totally understand that feeling, but the circumstances led me to believe it might be OK. I was clearly wrong. A few weeks earlier, my brother who teaches salsa had visited, and taught her how to dance. She wanted to go practice. She even asked me beforehand if I was OK with it, said she didn't want me to worry etc. And myself, I was not in a place where I wanted to go be social and such, but wanted her to be happy, so I said OK. And then she started texting with a guy 20+ years her senior who …

That's how I lost my girlfriend of five years. Got laid off, was depressed, didn't pay enough attention to her (didn't make everything about her, basically) for a few months. She started cheating on me with a guy she met at a salsa night.

This is why families used to keep a close eye on what their kids were up to and made certain behaviors taboo. The patriarchy was there to protect women, and thus all civilization, from the consequences of her bad decisions

You know, you should really talk to someone about that anger issue. Sounds like you could probably use an emotional tampon yourself. Her hubby COULD get rid of me, but he became my friend, too. She's been there for me when I've had tough times, and vice versa for when she had tough times. And fun, masculine activities would include mostly cookouts and camping trips, either with her husband or separately. We'll also hang out at her place and the three of us will play vidya together or watch a mov…

well, prettier and single, since I guess I should clarify. I met her when she was single, long before she met her husband. We could have had something then, if we'd wanted to, but we didn't. So we took more of a older brother/younger sister type relationship. shocker but guys and girls can actually be friends, even if it is rare.

usually the line between misdemeanor and felony is about $500. So stealing 1k is felony territory. misdemeanors are less heavily punished - max 1 year in county jail, usually much less in the end, maybe a couple months at most or even just probation. felonies are state prisons of 1+ years. felony makes you lose voting rights, lose right to own a gun, can trigger much harsher sentencing if you are later found guilty of another crime.

the famous 2nd-wave feminist camille paglia has gotten a lot of vitriol thrown her way, especially in recent years, with her assertions about 'date rape' for example, that a woman going into a man's house alone in a situation like you've described is consenting to sex, and should not be surprised when the man tries to have sex with her. Camille says it's obvious that the purpose of going into a man's apartment after a date is sex, and so if a woman isn't interested in having sex, she ought to de…

lol I knew this girl in college (american, ashkenazi jewish) who had an issue that caused her to burp randomly and rather excessively. she had yellowish teeth that were too far apart, very thick eyebrows, coke-bottle classes and dressed like a homeless 1970s hippy. think lots of velvet outfits. she's also ultra-woke. Literally complained at least once a week that she was being stalked by this guy or that guy, that she'd been raped a couple times, and guys were constantly trying to rape her and t…

i'm pretty out of the game these days, but in my indiscretionary youth, yup, nail on the head. out of the 30 or so women i slept with, every single one wanted to be manhandled, spanked, slapped around, dominated, you name it. and not all of them were single - a couple of them were married, and literally on the day we met I had sex with them on their marital beds while their husbands were at work. i brought nothing to the relationship (not even attractiveness, really). All I'd told them was that …

Also, none of them want to admit that the solution is to have never gone for the bad boys at all. The solution was to have grown up chastely, saving herself for the man who would be her husband, and hopefully in consultation with her family (because young people are stupid and make terrible decisions) find a man suitable for her to marry before she's 23 or 24. She just got it all backwards. She should have spent 14-20 improving herself and getting matched with just the right life partner. Instea…

when women see a man with an attractive woman on his arm, she considers that validation that he is a good catch, and the tingles tell her to pursue him. she's likely drawn to profiles of men who have attractive women in their photos. she's probably doesn't realize that it's the opposite with most men

i knew a guy on the registry. found guilty of propositioning a 15-year-old boy (he was like 25 or so). it literally made his life a living hell. apparently people would drive by and randomly beat on his door and vandalize his place, throw bricks at windows etc. and of course he couldn't get a job anywhere. it was a first offense, he got some jail (mostly time served I think), but the real punishment was the inability to ever lead a normal life. he gets by basically by running a review website an…

I did an experiment like that on OkCupid once, too. I made a female profile, put a cute girl in it, and wrote an average profile. My inbox was full within a day. Deleted them all, switched it to another city and changed it to "lesbian," inbox still was lighting up. Also still got a lot of messages from men. OKC now does this thing where they won't show you, if at all possible, the people who you actually rank highest. They'll show you people who they think are about as attractive as you. So even…

San Francisco hands out 400,000 heroin needles a month. And only gets a fraction of those returned. Millions of needles getting dumped into parks, sidewalks and the trash every year. Meanwhile the number of addicts never decreases.

lol lord it's amazing, the only response people are allowed to give today is that these poor oppressed girls should be given condoms and money and support, but to suggest to them that they should practice abstinence? Damn, normally I'm right with you guys but I have to say I'd give her at least a chance. She looks good, she's still young, she isn't shoving her cleavage into the camera, she looks happy in her photos, doesn't dress slatternly. yes, she's clearly made some mistakes (as have we all), but I'd at least see if she learned from them. I would happily meet this girl and see what she's like.

I mean that's fine with me if she's gonna be loyal and a good mother and is good at taking care of the home. I sure as fuck hate doing dishes and cleaning the house and all that. She sends me to work with a lunch and cooks dinner when I get home and does her wifely duties well? That's fine, barefoot and pregnant is OK with me. I'd pay to support that.

certified nursing assistant. training programs can be just a few weeks long. they do the real shit jobs in health care. bathing people, cleaning up shit, changing sheets, etc. it's hard work and honestly should probably be paid more. but it's also very low skill. the classes are just to teaching about basic stuff like hygiene rules, infection controls, taking vital signs, health care laws, etc. nurses actually went to college and studied for a couple of years. an LPN (licensed practical nurse) t…

When women weren't on top, it was oppression and patriarchy and "women are valuable members of society, what can men do to help them?" When men aren't on top, it's "Well it must be their fault, they're spoiled babies, unreliable, who would want someone like that?"
