Just like if I earn more, I’d pay more. Because it’s fair. Because that’s how you balance out a relationship. Is that really all you got from my comment?

I‘m not sure how old you are, but I think this is a relatively new way of thinking, probably because women having a steady income and not being reliant on their husbands is a pretty new idea. Our society will need time to adapt to it, both men and women. I generally split the bill/pay for my part, especially on earlier dates, but I also think that this is a very personal decisions couples have to make for themselves and that in a healthy relationship, both partners would put an equal amount of e…

Seriously wondering how old these women were. I know my mom definitely agrees with this, but she‘s 64. If I talk to women my age (21-25) there‘s definitely some that would agree with this, but most would prefer to split bills instead of having a guy pay. I do have to say that most of the things you mentioned don‘t necessarily mean that women want a man that makes more money or pays for everything. I‘d definitely want a husband who is financially stable, responsible and will openly talk to me abo…

Where are your statistics? Seriously curious, most girls my age wish guys would let them pay.

Woman here. I had way moremoney than my ex, he refused to accept me paying for things or me giving him gifts, mostly because of his ego. He would ask me to carry my things and do it even after I said no, because I’d always feel bad. He’d try and intimidate guys who were trying to flirt with me, even when I told him to stop and let it go. It’s not women. Trust me.

Okay so, women have to either carry the baby to term or abort it, both things men will never ever in their life haveto deal with. That’s why they don’t get a choice ad they shouldn’t. It’s not sexism, it’s ‘biology’ as some of you here liketo say. However, they were still responsible in making that baby, so obviously if the mom wants to keep it they can be involved in that if they want to, or they will be forced to pay for it. You know why? Because the mom doesn’t get a choice. She can’t just de…

Yeah because he isn’t forced to carry the child to term. If men got pregnant, they’d be the ones to choose. Can’t believe you’re complaining about the fact that you don’t have to risk your life just because you want a child.

That would be so illegal here, the judge would probably go to jail after ruling something like this. On the other hand it is totally normal to see single mothers try and get financial support from the father who doesn’t want anything to do with it.

If a woma gives the child away, the father won’t be held accountable either lmao how are you this stupid 😂😂

Luxembourg, and that’s definitely not a law here or anywhere else around me, we’re a bi to advanced to have primitive laws like that 😅

A mother can’t choose to not be financially responsible either.

I never mentioned the patriarchy, you did. Also we‘re not talking about crimes here, we‘re talking about pregnancy. You guys need to stop making stuff up just so it fits your narrative.

Prove me wrong then. Most statistics of what I‘ve seen on this sub are either not proven at all and just random claims or their studies are really weird and biased. I rarely ever see actual evidence, so asking it here, in this extremely sexist environment, will probably only give me insults and people telling me ‚no you‘re wrong‘ with no claims to back it up, just like you did :)
/r/MensRights11/05/21 07:32 AM

No because that‘s not relevant in this discourse, we‘re talking about pregnancy, not crimes. You can‘t just change the narrative however you want just bc it fits your world view :)

Oh because no one has ever said ‚she got herself pregnant‘ and blamed a woman for being pregnant, that has totally never happened ever is this entire world. Seriously, your double standards are fucked.

Please tell me how men are more affected by pregnancy than women? Genuinely curious because everyone has yet to give me a solid reason.

What choices don‘t men have? I literally asked you this, why didn‘t you reply? Is it because you didn‘t read the post? I‘ll ask you again then: what choices don‘t men have? Because funnily enough, men don‘t ger pregnant. They don‘t need those choices because unlike women, they don‘t need to live with the consequences of being pregnant.

The post I replied to clearly says that women should be held responsible for pregnancy, at least more responsible than men. I say that‘s sexist bullshit because you literally need both partners to make a child. As for the male rape victim having to pay child support, this is the first time I heard about this (we do not have such laws here) and I‘m pretty shocked by that. However, I think you‘re forgetting that there are tons of countries where child support isn‘t even a thing. Not saying that ma…

Do you actually believe anything you‘re saying? You‘re seriously trying to tell me that abortion isn‘t stigamtized completely? What kinda privileged shit is this. There‘s countries where abortion is ILLEGAL, even developed countries like Ireland and the USA access to abortion can be extremely limited and having one can cause you to be shamed by your community forever. Having a baby can destroy your life. It is the biggest consequence of all and men are not the ones who have to live with that. Th…

Women are held respon though. Not only do they literally have to carry a baby/have an abortion, both things that will forever impact your life, but they also face extreme stigma from society, especially teen moms. Also why should women be the only ones to take responsibility for pregnancy? You need at least two people to have sex. Are you seriously blaming pregnancy only on women? A man is needed for someone to ger pregnant or did you just forget about that? If anything, both partners need to ta…

When did I ever say that, are you on crack or something? I never said all men are evil, I don‘t believe that. That‘s a ridiculous claim. Seriously, idk what trip you‘re on but you need to come down

Did you seriously just accuse me of lying? Why the fuck would I do that? I‘m telling you this so we can see this issue from both sides, instead you choose to willingly ignore my point of view and therefor rob me of my voice. Funny how this subbreddit advocates so much for men‘s right to be heard but as soon as a woman speaks up, she must be lying.

Yes, being insulted hurts me because I have feelings. That‘s not being weak, it‘s being human. Are you always this toxic? And no, I never said that men don‘t get called names, I just said that women experience the same things as men. Unlike most people here apparently, I‘m not sexist.

So are men always held accountable for their actions? Is that why I was told to just ‚take it as a joke‘ when a guy sexually assaulted me? Is that why I‘m told I‘m a slut for sleeping with a guy while nothing happens to him? Damn yall are so backwards.

And just about every women will tell you the same. Again, my hot friend, didn‘t use to be hot until puberty. We were actually both bullied for being fat children. She was a very nice girl, always looking put for people when she was younger. Now she has 2 boyfriends and ended our friendship because ‚it wasn‘t a good look‘. You keep saying that men have a harder time because there are more expectations put upon them among other reasons. I agree with that. Men are still usually expected to make the…

Wow, one sentece. You‘re issue isn‘t that woman are shallow. You‘re issue is that you want woman to be shallow as an excuse because you can‘t find someone who wants to date you. It‘s the only explaination I have for your behavior.

I‘m just gonna stop now, because you pick and choose from my answer and ignored the entire part where I proved to you that men are just as shallow as you belive women are.

Ehm, I’m pretty sure that I wouls not date an asshole just because he looks good. Of course looks play a part, they are usually what gets you to be attracted to a person in the first place. However, I think your view of women is quite shallow. Sure, there are women who will only date guys who look like Chris Hemsworth. But what about the guys that will only date girls like Kim Kardashian? I have a VERY pretty friend and we used to be besties so we’d hang out all the time. I’m not that convention…

So you lost weight and now you’re good-looking?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/20 11:42 PM

That is the supidest reason I have ever heard. Also why does this only affect men? As far as I’mconcerned both parties get divorced? (And yes, I know wife gets to keep house and kids bla bla bla, that’s why you make a marital contract before, idk what that is called in english) Also with that logic you’d never be allowed to date anyone again. Don’t own pets either. Don’t drive.

Yo this entire conversation yall are having is trash. All of a sudden every women NEEDS love and intimacy in order to have sex and every dude has commitment issues? The fuck? Have you never talked to other people in real life? Have you mever met a girl that doesn’t like romance and only wants to hook up with random people? Have you never met a guy who just wants a loving relationship with his girlfriend? Because I have. Since when are men and women two different kind of species with completely d…

I’m not sure what requirements we’re talking about, but as a woman mine are things like ‘treats me with respect’ and ‘is funny’ not ‘has a six-pack’ and ‘is a millionaire’ So I’m actually confused by this question. Do you mean in the sense that you were ugly, fat and poor, now you’re hot and rich? Or do you mean it in the sense that you were a prick but now you’re respectful and nice?

Shut the fuck up with your ‘sorry but men get raped too’ bullshit. Glibally, 97% of rape victims are women and 98% of rapists are men, so tell me again how bad men have it and how much they suffer, because news flash, they fucking don’t :) pick something else to whine about, BECAUSE THIS ISN’T YOUR PLACE. If you want women to be ‘less special’.... STOP RAPING THEM.

I’m sorry but... that’s just fucking stupid. Men don’t need safe spaces because they don’t get raped and assaulted. If men would stop doing that to women, NO ONE WOULD NEED SAFE SPACES.

Parking lots are one of the most freuqent places for women to be attacked/assaulted. They’re there to keep them safe. As men, we don’t need that protection.
