Collectivist countries? Eastern EU? I think you may have a wrong idea of life and society here. Everywhere's Americanized and individualistic, depending on a country it will just be a bit less or a bit more individualistic.

There is your problem - you care too much and lack self respect. I wish it wasn't like this but people will sense it and use you like this.

Time isn't replaceable so let's just kill yourself and make it so that instead of (often) decades left you have 0. Yup, makes perfect sense. You seem to be in a negative place, man. We're here for you if you need help but don't spread this defeatism please.

Yeah, I don't know if it's just me but I think I've been seeing a trend lately and that the pendulum is starting to swing the other way. People are starting to speak up against the moronic wokeness more and more it seems, maybe I'm gonna live to see better days after all. One can dream

After the destabilization and straight up bombing of the Middle East that US has caused I'm surprised the people there aren't more radicalized. I fully expect the downvotes but it's just the truth.

I once tried to explain to a woman (of average intelligence I thought) the whole IQ distribution based on gender concept and the only thing she got from my explanation was an emotional "so you're saying women are stupid?" It wasn't my point at all, it's not the point of the study but when she reacted like that I thought maybe there is something to it : - )

Ah, gotcha, I agree with that. I thought you meant marriage in general not in the recent times. I think there were times where marriages were a lot healthier and were beneficial for the society. But yeah, we're not going there anytime soon so you're right

How would you measure the output of males and females in the same position? How would you determine if women should be paid more? I think it's impossible to do on aggregate and we should leave it to the free market to do its job. If a woman thinks she should be paid more then she should go ahead and ask for a raise and see what happens. Perhaps she is underpaid, perhaps not, her higher-ups are in the best position to decide, they have the most data, even if it's hard to quantify exactly as in th…

Man, as a man living in eastern EU, I can only say good luck. I imagine it’s the same or likely worse in South America

Very much true. Speaking from my experience - I used to look back on the golden days of poker (2000-2010ish) and thought man, I would crush those games for millions now. That's the thing though - I would've if I knew then what I know now. But back then the information we have now wasn't available. You had to be as obsessed about the game as the top 1% is today. You had to actively seek the edge yourself same as today - the information that the general population has at any point makes you averag…

Just a question to you guys. How isnt anyone saying that he's a bitch for keeping the girl in the dark like this? Is branch swinging only frowned upon when it's a woman?

Does it really only take a couple days to reset? In heroin addicts it takes a lot more time to recover. IF it ever happens that they fully recover. And as far as I know the mechanism is the same in heroin as it is in for example porn or internet addiction. So - got any sources for that couple days claim?

Cheers, brother! 24yo here and in the same boat. I used to be sad for quite some time after realizing women's nature, now I'm more like ¯\ _(ツ) _/¯ and damn, it feels good

I always found it to be the opposite and not even close to be honest. Like I have these 2-3 months bursts of motivation where I lose 6-7 kilos, subconciously think 'well done' and then I gradually get back to not exercising and keeping track of my diet. It's the grind when I don't really have to that is hard for me.

Does it sound like I do? I mean I guess I initially did but now I'm rather amused that humans have such a hard time seeing their own mistakes. It's not only women's trait imo.

I wouldn't go with #1. As soon as she sees reaction from him, she's gonna remember it as a tactic that worked. And if it worked, she's gonna continue using it.
