In our world and exactly in the way I previously described. We don't get to have civilization unless there is sovereignty and enforcement in place. It's really not complicated but it is fundamental to the world we live in. Yes but specifically women getting to have desicions over voting doesn't match up with war. When was this? Miss me with your fanfic. It's kinda easy to put the puzzle pieces together. Do you think the moment humans first entered the world men immediately had more power? No, it…

In what world does men fighting in war correlate to women's voting rights? It's other men (who were in power) that decided men were drafted to fight in wars. Women never asked for that. We all started off equal in this world and at some point men ended up with more power in society. Women have simply just gained the equality back in recent times, it has nothing to with being gifted. That's like popping someone's ballon on purpose, then buying them a new ballon only to then be upset when that per…

It’s strange how you describe basic rights as something men gave women, instead of something women earned through activism and protest. If equality is something one group can give, doesn’t that mean it was never really equal in the first place?

I think it's good to look into that stuff. It's just that I see a heap of posts on here of a women doing something bad and I just dont get how it correlates to mens rights.

Do you really think letting the other half of the population vote counts as men ‘losing power’? That’s just equality, not a loss. I’m also curious, what exactly do you think women should be giving up for men?

I wasn't trying to say all men, I meant more like it was the men in government who chose that, and it has nothing to do with feminists since they wouldn't have had a say in it. I didn't word it right but I didn't mean "all men" just like how not every single feminist is crazy and had bad intentions for men.

What does this have to do with your grandpa..? You used women not going to war as an example of women having different rights, and I'm saying that choice had nothing to do with feminism, it was men themselves in governments who didn't allow women to fight in war. Also are you referring to my earlier comment about that last two sentences? Or are you saying in general.

Because it was a question and I genuinely wanted to know and I've gotten answers. I wanted to understand what feminists have been doing.

I dont know I got the percentages from a website. I think we're estimating different things though I don't know
/r/MensRights18/12/24 05:48 AM

I'm so confused right now, what do you mean lesbians? Those percentages were for how much of them experience sexual assault. I didn't say it was female on female. And why are you bringing a random proffesor into this? We're talking about statistics, not one some crazy person thinks. I don't agree with statements like men don't experience rape, I already told you that. But women do experience a lot more negative sexual harassment. Which is why feminists focus so much on it, that's what I'm trying…

Yes but it's still a certain gender. I ant humans to have equality, not a certain kind of gender, everyone.

It was the men that didn't let women fight in war.. they did that to themself. And yeah when I say it's online I just feel like men and women get along a lot better in reality than this whole comment section makes it out to be like we're enemies or something.

I'm not a feminist, or the one people on this post is describing. I just want everyone to be equal.

Rape does happen to both genders, but it is a very big problem for females. 81% percent of females have experienced sexual assault in their lifetime and men have 43%. I'm not saying that makes sexual assault against men okay, it's horrible. But it does make sense for feminists to focus on it when it's so common to happen to girls. But the other stuff they say like it doesn't happen to men is bs.

Okay but you're wrong on never was. If feminism never happened women would still not be able to go to school or even get a job. I understand that the new feminism is bad but not as a whole for how it's changed women's rights.

It's because I'm asking a question and genuinely wanting to understand. I'm sure It wouldn't be allowed if I just put a link to all these bad things and lies men have done.

Well, the reason they don't care about males rights is because they have always had the upper hand and always had more choice in life. That's why they focus more on females and not males.

Well, I've always been taught that feminism was a good thing and it just made everyone equal. I'm just trying to understand your point of view, and I have.

I didn't say you all hate feminists, I asked why you hate feminists. I worded it badly but it was just a question because I looked through and a lot of people seemed to not like them.

Well I'm not sure why the reason, but I'm guessing schools or colleges thought it would be a nice thing? I don't know. Are STEM camps science and stuff or programs like physical? I don't think there's a need for camps or programs that have to do with mental understanding but for example I have a women only sport class as an elective and it's really helpful since we're all the same physically. Aren't there lot's of things about women getting paid less, though? Yeah that is bad. But who was in cha…

okay thanks you explained that well. And yeah, I know that all subreddits do this, I'm just trying to say that if we all do the same thing then none of us are "the better person" and we'll all just continue to hate each other thinking we're in the right.

Feminism in general is good. Not the crazy stuff, you don't have to always tie those kinds of people to the feminists that gave women normal rights today. Sorry but I'm actually trying to be so fair right now but no matter what I say you guys get so mad. And I'm in 8th grade but what do you mean shame on me if I wasn't?

I guess what I'm saying is not every feminist is like that.

Okay I'm gonna try to reply to these reasons. I'm not sure the need for there to be a women only scholarship but it's not like males can't get scholarships. I think the reason there are women-only camps and programs is for women who don't feel comfortable around men for some reason. Women aren't as strong as men so obviously in certain fields they aren't capable as much as men. idk what this means so im skipping it I do agree that needs to be worked on. Sorry I dont understand that either What d…

I'm not talking about at the moment, like I said before I'm talking about the idea. If feminism wasn't a thing women still wouldn't be allowed to go to school or have a job they want.

I don't think women ask for equality in those situations, though. What I was saying is that I think feminism is a good thing when you think about the positive difference it made for women compared to how they were treated for a long time. And you have to remember how long women were treated horribly, it only changed recently when you think about it. When I think about feminism I mean like trying to get Afghanistan women rights back, they can't even speak anymore in public, or show their faces or…

No, I didn't mean I haven't experienced gender inequality. I meant that I've never seen people in real life hate on other genders if that makes sense. I know that's probably confusing because gender inequality is that, but I mean as in differences.

Maybe that's some groups of crazy feminists but I mean as an idea feminism is for equality.
