nobody is praising being unhealthily fat, apart from a few loonballs. probably about the same amount of people that praise being unhealthily thin - the model industry comes to mind. It may be easyer for you to stuff your face than starve, but for an anorexic its far easier to starve than to stuff their face. these people are ill, just like the obese. if you concede its an illness then the question becomes would you rather help or hate someone for having an illness? which do you think would do mo…

all anorexics have to to is pick up a fork and eat. thats free too. im not advocating fat acceptance, i also think thats not helpful. i just think it should be treated like a medical issue the same way anorexia is, and denying them medical treatment altogether will only make the problem worse.

in what way does it not compare with obesety? im pretty sure no one wants to be that fat and unhealthy, in the same way anorexics dont want to be a walking skeleton. it seems to me now more like a sickness of the mind, just like anorexia.

In what situation would acting be a viable method of getting yourself out of a wet paper bag? I agree with you though.

I hate it when people do a shitty thing for likes and views and then try to pass it off as a social experiment. Theres no science going on here.

I used to hate fat people too, but then someone pointed out to me i would never speak about an anorexic person this way or consider denying them medical treatment based on their weight, or not allow mountain climbers medical treatment when they break their bones. Made me realise i didnt really have a point at all, and now i cringe at some of the things i said.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
