The hardest job on the planetI've read that using sign language and teaching them to communicate early is helpful. If they aren't walking yet the only way to be "trained" is to alert you when they are ready to go, the only training is being aware of when they are releasing their bowels rather than doing it absent-mindedly if that makes sense. Some people use noise association rather than sign language, teaching babies to release when they hear a certain sound. | /r/TheRedPill | 10/05/15 10:32 PM
The hardest job on the planetI did not say he was potty trained. I agree that I am the one who is trained right now, not him. That said there are 9 month olds who ARE legitimately potty trained. It's not easy, and it won't be perfect, but it is a reasonable goal. As for sleeping too much, my son has always taken 2 very distinct naps. Morning and afternoon, then sleeps from 730pm to 8am waking once or twice to nurse. Having a good day time nap schedule is the key to a good nights sleep. | /r/TheRedPill | 10/05/15 10:25 PM
The hardest job on the planetHe does not know how to hold but luckily he is extremely regular. The only time he really goes in a diaper is when we're out and about during his afternoon naps. (We're talking poo here, I definitely do not catch every wet diaper yet) My son seriously shits 3 times pretty much every day and it's always after he just wakes up. The morning is the easiest because as soon as he wakes up we head to the bathroom then bath time. We were prepared for 9 full months of maternity leave and I'm determined t… | /r/TheRedPill | 10/05/15 06:36 AM
The hardest job on the planetHe did not say the baby can crawl itself to the toilet, but it can most certainly learn to release while being held over a toilet. It's called elimination communication and it legitimately works. Source: my 3 month old poops after every nap while I hold him over a little potty. | /r/TheRedPill | 10/05/15 06:03 AM
Women want a wedding, not a marriage.Exactly. So, just curious, how do you feel toward your wife? A woman should have some skills, yours should just be more interesting or in some way unattainable to her... Is the dynamic in the original comment reversed if suddenly she loses her looks/becomes boring? | /r/TheRedPill | 07/05/14 03:42 PM
Women want a wedding, not a marriage. This is brilliant and largely accurate, but I do have something to add... There are traits that women love that do not fade. Here's the thing; women love talent. Fucking LOVE it, it's like a magnet. Wealth, power, success... These things take talent (in theory...) to acquire. Talent is the real measure of social status. For me, I'm extremely ambitious. I work really hard and I'm pretty successful with healthy future prospects... A guy in my position just doesn't quite tickle my fancy. Women need… | /r/TheRedPill | 07/05/14 03:09 PM
Losing female friendsIt works if both parties see themselves as equals. | /r/TheRedPill | 09/04/14 08:29 PM
Losing female friendsIt isn't just you... I have such a hard time communicating with other women because their delusions are so strong... Like, fucking impenetrable. It's the same exact delusion BPs suffer from, it's just that women are less willing to break free of it because they sorta-kinda benefit from it. (Sorta-kinda because yea, men are doing things for them, but it's never the one they want) Since finding TRP, it's only gotten worse. I try to introduce RP philosophy little by little... And I swear to god the… | /r/TheRedPill | 09/04/14 07:47 PM
Son asks mom how do I attract girls? JBY advice is rejected and hilarity ensuesYou are so god damned right. This is why women are able to bitch about how poorly they are treated by an alpha straight to a betas face and say "you just don't understand how hard it is!" Completely oblivious. | /r/TheRedPill | 09/04/14 07:20 PM
The Female ImperativeI could be wrong, but it's my understanding that this subreddit is about tackling the ineffective, damaging cultural expectations of men and how it effects their chances of getting laid. I don't think it's about bashing women and I actually think it's often about fixing the abysmal feminist movement, even if that part is by accident. I thought this sub was about making changes for the better, not about aimlessly bitching. I'm saying we should discourage the betas (and obviously women) from hurti… | /r/TheRedPill | 08/04/14 07:51 PM
The Female ImperativeIt's a vicious cycle... Betas can't wait to show how helpful they can be, some women learn to expect this behavior, and round and round it goes. It's a social/cultural issue, not one gender issue. I didn't mean to imply the latter. TRP definitely changed my outlook in many ways and I'm really thankful for having found this community, but I find myself more in the neutral zone of opinions and I try to bring that to these conversations. That said, I'm always open to broaden my understanding since … | /r/TheRedPill | 08/04/14 07:21 PM
The Female ImperativeThe alternative to the usual femnazi ideology is not extremism in the other direction. TRP isn't about stooping to that level, it's about moving beyond the damaging social stigmas that have been plaguing men for decades... I'm usually not very supportive of creating new ones. I'm sorry that one comment is all you took away from my statement. | /r/TheRedPill | 08/04/14 05:24 PM
"I Would Never Have dated You When I Was 25"Your definition of the outburst is pretty spot-on, and actually you may be on to something with it being a test... However, it's important to note that most women don't even consciously realize they're settling. They tell themselves "this is what adult love feels like... It was never going to be as exciting as that dude I blew in the bar bathroom." The excitement of the bathroom blowjob is because the man was in control, he was the dominant one. This is an important aspect to the relationship dy… | /r/TheRedPill | 08/04/14 12:49 PM
The Female ImperativeOverall I agree, but I don't understand why women are being demonized for doing EXACTLY what men are being encouraged to do here. Women try their best (albeit through stupid ass avenues sometimes) to be attractive to men, and are heavily criticized for that. In the same breath, men are given the secret to being the most attractive they can be. Both sides are just trying to fulfill their biological imperative. On the topic of careers, I completely agree. I work as a mechanic with all men and I ca… | /r/TheRedPill | 08/04/14 10:39 AM
Men are only as loyal as their options.EDIT: fair warning, this is totally unrelated. I'm new to TRP and wrote all this, then read it and said "shit... This has nothing to do with the topic." Oh well, didn't delete... Read if you wish. Women who truly are interested in equal RESPECT, not the wishy-washy "equality" word uninformed feminists throw around without really knowing what even they mean by that, do not disagree with your hatred of the pussy pass. It feels like for every step great women take toward being respected like human … | /r/TheRedPill | 05/04/14 01:33 AM
Women, Philosophy and a Thank You to RedpillYou're not wrong. I don't think women even understand the issues in our culture, so it's hard for us to argue the point. But regardless of not knowing what to say, your words elicit a very strong, defensive, emotional response... Which elicits one or more items from your list. This day and age, women aren't being oppressed by men, but I don't think we quite know how to pull away from centuries of being perceived as bed slaves and house wives. We WANT to be more (generally, I think) but we (colle… | /r/TheRedPill | 04/04/14 07:32 AM
