In a perfect world, yes I agree, NOBODY would be drafted. There'd be no wars. People would just not be nasty dicks to each other and we could all shotgun beers and grill. However I know better, there will always be wars, there will always be the threat of a draft. I hope we send the people most equipped and capable of fighting those wars, and not the wrong people over something as silly as a bunch of feminists trying to get ahead or politicians trying to prove a point. Edit: spelling

I understand the point you're trying to make, that I answered as if I think men deserve to be drafted into war, but I have since very clearly stated that I don't believe anyone deserves to be. IDK what else you want man.

I mean I serve in a 100% volunteer army at the moment, so no. I don't. If it came down to it though I would prefer strictly they put men on a battlefield over girls. Yes.

Nobody DESERVES to get drafted. If we come to a point where we have no choice, I would feel more comfortable fighting on a battlefield with 200 lb men over a 120 lb girl. My whole point to begin with, is I don't think it for to punish all women because a group of women want one sided equality.

Also true, so yet another reason to not increase risk to force, which is why I personally don't think they should've opened combat MOS's to females in the first place. My last unit was one of the first integrate female infantry, it was a fucking disaster before they even deployed.

True, however, people in support roles still get killed, and often during war have to fill in the infantry roll. Regardless I just don't see mass punishment for all women based on the actions of a few.

I understand that, and I agree that there's a lot of feminists who want their one sided "equality" and it's bullshit. I just think if this all went through, and there ended up being a draft. A lot of 120 lb 5'4" girls are gonna die because a relative handful of femnists want a bigger paycheck.

Likely not, the majority of volunteers will still be make, and likely the majority females drafted will dodge it or not be fit for service.

Oh yea you right

If there was no draft in ww2 what would've happened? The unfortunate reality is that there's always the possibility of having to fight a massive war that not everyone will be willing to fight.

It hasn't for decades, and the odds of it happening to my kids, let alone my wife are super slim. Still though

People who are biologically equipped to carry massive amounts of weight and drag a 200lb man with 80 lbs of gear out of a burning Humvee?

Honestly I'm all about equality for those feminists who ask for it, but as an active service member, I really fucking hope this fails. My wife and daughters don't deserve to get drafted into a war because other women chased feminism.

Probly the guy who knocked her up... Which with a paternity test shouldn't be hard to prove and get child support. Which who knows if he even knew she was in a relationship?

Either way he lost, just a little less if he left. Which is not the point. It's just sad. Poor bro.

He has a patch on the deployment patch side and he doesn't have a flag on so I'm guessing not.

This is SUPER good news to hear! I was at the show that night and I'm like 99% sure I saw the girls who accused them being total sloots in the crowd. I hung out with the singer after their set and he's incredibly kind and humble. It was insane to hear the allegations against them. They've since become one of my favorite bands and I've continued to wear their merch since.
