thank you 💕. i keep remembering the nice parts of the relationship and then i get sad, but i counter it by remembering the hurtful things he did.

I don’t think he’s cheated physically. I would sense that in my gut and i don’t , but he still crossed the line a lot.

I send the occasionall happy bday or merry xmas so I am not against that, but what he did crossed the line and he even said he wouldn’t have liked it if i did it . He knew what he was doing and he did it anyways, that’s enough for me.

yeah dude. i understand a happy birthday or merry xmas, but she would be replying to his story once in a while and called him “bad boy” and then asked him to send her a video of a concert they went to so she could post it . She knew about me. He said he nevér iniciated the conversation and so he did nothing wrong. but he entertained her! and for the longest time he told me nothing is wrong with her behaviour...fuck em

ugh when i posted on relationships forum , they told me i was insecure and controlling for asking my ex to not reply to his ex . Despite her being flirty and it making me uncomfortable, they said it was normal and healthy and mature to keep contact with ex’s lmao

No, exactly, i realized that yesterday when i told him i need a break. He said he had things to call me out for and said i had liked a bunch of selfies of a random guy i follow . I had liked a fair amount of pics when i looked back ( mostly ones of him and his dogs because i love dogs ! , but some ones of just him) my first reaction was to acknowledge it’s hurtful and i can understand why he doesn’t like it , because i don’t either, but then i remembered how he reacted when i called him out for …

good idea! It was also starting to make me toxic and mean and i feel guilty about that. I naturally have a bad temper and i would react strongly to things he did to hurt me and it was a mess. I wish i had not acted like that, but now i know to walk away instead.

She does ! and i trust her. I know he’s hurt me and that it is over and it is the best thing for me, but then the memories of all the good times come back to me and i get sad. He obviously was not all bad and we had some amazing times together, but i also cried myself to sleep a lot. It’ll cry and feel it out, but it’s over. im already on tinder and getting dates.

i know :/. I keep minimizing it because he did not fully cheat but he did things that hurt me and dismissed me when i called him out. Him telling me he’ll do anything to not lose me now is worth nothing.

yeah dude :( it hurts a lot, but he made his choice. He claimed he did not know how much it would hurt me bc i can often be “dramatic and exaggerate”. Fuck him. Even after i caught him lying he still brushed me off and said it meant nothing, it was normal to talk to ex’s and she wasn’t behaving inappropriately. He told me i was insecure. Only now that i am leaving him he is taking it all back and blocking her, but it took too long. He thinks the fact that he understands now makes a difference, b…

because i don’t want to . I know the general consensus of this sub , but i don’t feel the need to read a handbook.

nah. i knew this shit was wrong without reading it. It’s won’t do any good.

i haven’t read it and i don’t need to really. i know in my gut that this is not okay behaviour and i will not be staying w him.

Dude i know lmao. Fuck that. All the people responding to me on that were fucking awful. They say it’s normal and i shouldn’t ever tell a partner to cut off contact with an ex and that her behaviour was not crossing the line. Fuck that. Fuck em all

yeah lmao. I never spoke of my exes bc i didn’t want to make him feel uncomfortable. I did a little when he asked , and then i did it to be pettt when i felt he talked about his too much. And he threw it in my face lol! He said, you talked about your ex a lot too! bruh i did it to be petty and it was like two times stfu.

yeah, like i understand maybe mentioning her onnce to tell me a bit about his past relationship, why it ended, how long it was , what he learnt. but don’t keep talking about it smh.

i know 😭😭 my mom told me that my dad never talked about his ex gf to her unless she asked him to and that’s the energy i need.

yeah, fuck em both. Having female friends is okay, but boundaries are important to establish. He knew about my boundaries, he still crossed them.

yeah exactly, he can be on good terms without talking. And esp the way she was talking to him ! he thought he deserved a cookie for never starting the conversations, but he still paid her attention lol so lmao they can both fuck off.

ageeed! he told me that she used to text her ex when they were together and the ex had another gf . girl how desperate for attention lmao. I do blame him for the behaviour, but seeing her messages made me cringe. There were so many times where he didn’t reply and she kept replying to his stories ... gurl common stop trying

dude it makes me angry to see the pick me’s clamouring to tell me it’s all normal nd that i’m lucky to have a man who’s in touch with his emotional side and who keeps good connections with his ex’s 😬

he can go back to her desperate trashy ass

yeah and also fuck relationships forum. They’re ducking nuts for telling me i’m insecure for getting upset at my bf letting his ex flirt with him. I swear everyone on that sub is obsessed with their ex’s and think it’s normal to keep contact and talk about them with their current partner like nada.

lol i did get bitchy and told him she’s trash and i’m embarrassed he dated someone like that before me

yup. They deserve each other.

good for you hun, i’m sorry he did those things :(. There’s no way i’ll cause trouble in his next relationship bc i already blocked him and even then, unlike his trashy ex, i hace respect for people’s relationships and i wouldn’t flirt. It pisses me off that he didn’t see what she was trying and even once i explained it, he brushed me off. Fuck that.

yeah, i’m not 100% against contact with an ex but this type of convo crossed the line. Why is she calling him bad boy and asking him to send a video of a concert they went to together so she can post it ? And better yet why isn’t he telling her it’s not ok? even once i explained that it made me uncomfortable, his first response was oh that’s just how she is, she would laugh if you told her she’s flirting. Bitch i’ll give u something to laugh about.
