It has drained me of most of my trust, optimism, and hope for the future.

Moot comparisons? Like removing foreskin & chinese foot binding? This the exact type of thing that I think stigmatizes /r/Mensrights. Instead of focusing on the issues (custody/parental issues, rape, profiling), why not try to tackle an issue that leaves 99% of those involved in a perfectly healthy state? You can spend the next ten years railing against circumcision, but that won't help the guys locked up on heresay rape charges or deserving fathers that rarely see their children based on gender…

And if I prefer blondes am I an Aryan or White Supremacist? I had my son circumsized, and am completely okay with it. I don't even recall my own (gasp, events from the first moments of birth haven't reminded me of my barbaric "mutilation"). But, let's make sweeping sensationalized comparisons instead....Non-Vegetarians = Animal Cruelty. "How dare you bring that child to the dentist and let some "doctor" mutilate his mouth?" Do you really need that extra bit of skin? Or tonsils? Appendix? Spleen?

I like this sub, I really do...but circumcision is one topic I think separates me from the collective hivemind here. Before reaching for a pitchfork...I agree that it should only be done by qualified medical professionals. It's just a personal preference of mine (and every sexual partner I've had).

I've been a server, and the vibe is very often anti-male. There have been plenty of instances where tables have asked for a different server, not because I didn't do my job (I am really good at what I do, for what it is), but because some people think that have a female waiting their table is "the way it's suppose to be". Luckily, my manager, when being asked to switch me out, was cool enough to tell them that I'm a great server, and that if they aren't willing to have me wait their table, then …

This makes me rage. I went to the facebook page, and nearly punched a hole in my screen. The arrogance of people kills me.

I've heard this before. The classic "if she's going to fight like a man, she'll take it like one", and while I understand it, that's just not the way to go. In nearly all cases, including the guy in the video, the male has a physical advantage. I'm not saying he, or anyone, shouldn't respond but it's just as easy to bear hug them or shove them away, do anything to circumvent further violence without striking back. Now, if she's toting a weapon like a knife or baseball bat...shit gets real (but i…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
