Well I've never seen a single classic disney movie all the way through (except maybe Lion King, Idk), but I Wiki'd that shit, and no, it does not end well for the ugly guy. His love is hung in front of him and he dies of starvation in her crypt like a devoted little puppy. It seems to give the message that non-romantic devotion is the most noble thing he could've aspired to.

Disney's been spreading fucked-up gender stereotypes from the start. Every "good" character in their films is beautiful while every "evil" character is ugly. Plus, they participate heavily in the stereotypical romance story arcs that teach people thoroughly fucked and unrealistic standards of what life should be like. Edit: this applies to both genders, and the story arcs can be found in almost all Hollywood romances.

If one assumes that 50% of the people using the bathroom are women and 50% men (which is most likely inaccurate, given universities tend to have more women than men), and if one keeps in mind that a woman would require the seat to be down 100% of the time and a man would require it down at least some of the time, then more than half the time whoever is using the bathroom will want the seat to already be down. Well, we are just taking a wild guess here, since it didn't happen and we don't know. However, to play along and assume the worst reaction was had by popular media, I think it would be influenced by the increased sexualization of very young girls, which is distinctly more severe than the also-present sexualization of young buys and is also potentially due to the fact that girls are reaching sexual maturity younger and younger, some at the age of 7. I'm riffing on the fact that Fox very, very rarely has women's interests or well-being in mind. Also, lots of attractive, blonde reporters. IMO, the best alternatives to the View are grouped by common interest instead of gender/race/etc. If you haven't yet, check out "Moyers and Company" on PBS. Bill Moyers is the sheeeiiiiiiit! He's really fantastic male role model if ever I've seen one.

No, I remember her being one of their #1 pretty-blonde-anchor/reporters. I think that, being pregnant, she was actually able to relate to a minority/special interest group for once and broke the talking points in an inspired moment of concern for others' well-being. But she's back to being extra-Foxy now (if memory serves). Turns out I'm thinking of Megyn Kelly. I'm too lazy to look into it more than that, though.

That was a really funny video (watch it!), but hate accomplishes nothing and only makes the hated feel like they're righteous or some other such bullshit. Plus, I think everyone on r/MR needs to remember that while men are being stereotyped/overlooked/mistreated/etc, women's concerns are still also very legitimate and we can't let the radicals from either side distract from the people trying to make their world a better place.
