I was discussing this with my husband the other day. I just read a really good book about this exact topic. The author mentioned that young boys and young girls see the world differently. Developmentally they are different. The example he used was drawing. When children are in preschool and kindergarten they are asked to draw to express themselves creatively. Most gender-typical girls will draw pets, flowers and family members focusing on details like hands and faces. Boys tend to draw pictures …
